Honestly, I was disappointed in my stay at Omni La Costa. It just is not up to the standard that it used to be. The bed was extremely uncomfortable for a 4-star hotel. The level of service and amenities is not up to a 4-star hotel standard. Also...beware that they will charge you $58 per night for valet automatically. Then if you decide to self-park for $40 per night (which you pay upon each exit), you will have to call in to correct your bill and remove the valet charge. This means that you have to ASK to not be double-billed for parking. $40 for self-parking for a suburban located hotel is an astronomical price. It's not a space-constrained urban hotel which would justify the cost. Note that this is ON TOP OF a $45 "resort fee". Will not stay here again.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in every way. The experience was truly top-notch. In addition to the cleanliness, the hotel's facilities were impressive. The dining options were excellent, with a wide variety of delicious dishes served in a clean and inviting setting. The staff across the hotel were consistently friendly, professional, and eager to assist with any request. Overall, if you're looking for a hotel that offers top-notch service and an exceptionally clean environment, this place is a fantastic choice.

When we arrived we were told there was an issue with their system transferring our reservation from their PMB into their system. We waited over 45 minutss. After this time we were told that the mistake resulted in they had no rooms for us. After going online and seeing rooms available she magically found 1 king bed room (we had booked a 2 bed suite) but had no rooms for our next night. When i showed her online showed they had rooms she magically found a room the next night but id have to move out of my room at 11 and check back in to a new room the next day and have no room for 5 hours. After two hours of this and being lied to by management we left and will never come back. This would habe been our 5th stay at the property.

If you ask me, this hotel is NOT worth your money. I stayed one night with my family and played golf at the site. 1. severely overpriced - hotel room was ok. Clean, Had things I needed, but quite small and nothing special about it. It's not worth well over $500 though. - They charged me $380 for a round of golf. Yet I wasn't even allowed to go on the fairway with my cart except 3 holes. I'll explain below more. 2. Finding the proper building to check in - Their property is quite large with scattered villas and other buildings. There was no sign visible from my direction that points to front desk. So I looped around here and there and then found the sign pointing to front desk and lobby. Well it was facing the opposite way of the street that people enter. No wonder I couldn't find it. Such a simple thing to make it right but well.. I don't know what to say. When I complained about it to valet boys and front desk, they didn't admit it but I could tell they already got more than enough complaints. 3. Check in - check in was at 4pm. So I arrived 30 minutes before. The room wasn't even cleaned. They checked me in 4:15pm. 4pm is already quite late check in and they can't even make it in time. Shame on them. 4. golf - They claim world class golf course. Well the course was managed well. Staff were nice enough. - For the price I paid, I expect more convenience and less disappointments. Only after they checked me in and gave me a cart, they told me no cart's allowed on fairway.

We had a great time at the Omni Resort. It was sad to leave after the three days we stayed there. The staff has been great. From the check in, to the pool, kids club and the market place. Sienna who worked there several days when we ate at the Market was so attentive and friendly and made a clear difference. Room was nice and clean and the overall resort and amenities were great. 5/5 stars from us !!!

Great place but lots of kids pools and not enough adult ones.I had to pay for spa to get away from kids at the pool. Spa was great they have an outdoor massage waterjet that was amazing but no pool just a small dunking pool size of large jacuzzi. Massage therapist was not very experienced the water jet was way better.

Property grounds are not kept well. The staff are not really nice. Trash all around the pool area and not enough staff. I don’t know why they allow day pass people to come use the pool when they don’t have enough staff to maintain the pool with all of the people. Can’t return here

Finding the lobby was difficult from the self parking that cost 85$ a day and you parked on gravel. The staff was friendly. We got to our room and the musty smell was a bit overwhelming. Dead beetles were laying about. We opened up the doors to the balcony to let in some fresh air and noticed the paint chipping away from the pillars. Not at all what I expected from a luxury resort.

We booked this room (Omni La Costa at Calsbad) since Expedia said the room is for 5 people having 2 queen beds with a rollable bed at surcharge. When we arrived, the hotel counter said that the room is only for 4 people and a rollable bed should not be used. She said it is Expedia's fault that they delivered a wrong message to us. Since it was too late to change our plan, we had to stay, letting one of my family member sleep on the floor (we had to purchase an extra mat at walmart. It was not a pleasant experience at all in a hotel for which we pay >600 USD per night (including tax). The hotel waived parking fee for this inconvenience ($40 per night). Also, when we arrived at 4 pm, the hotel counter said that the room is not ready yet without saying any apology about that. The hotel checking in time is 4 pm which is already later than other hotels, but even at 4 pm, we had to wait for the room being ready.

Had to pay $40/day for self parking, walking too far to parking lot, the parking lot is bad condition. The toilet is clogged, there is no microware, drinking water, or paper towels, and the Resort service charge is $45/per day.

I paid extra for a renovated room, however Per the front desk, the bathroom was not renovated. They said the rest of the room was, but the AC on the balcony was broken. There was lime/calcium stuck to the water spout in the kitchen, the refrigerator didn’t work, The floor tiles were not new, And it didn’t feel renovated at all.

We were unable to check-in until 2 hours past check-in time. We were given a room at the end of the property which was a 15 min walk to the lobby/gym with very little parking, adult pool. Property is geared towards family and kids. Room had blood stained carpet and bugs. Adult pool umbrellas were full of mold (on the inside). The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Staff is nice. They need to up their game if they want to be a world class resort.

Definitely a lot more hopping than our stay in March! We loved spending Fourth of July weekend here. Just wish dining options on site were a little more varied as they got repetitive after a couple days. Pools could definitely use more seating—they were just about full by 10:30 every day!
