The hotel itself is nice but we were extremely disappointed when we got to our room. It’s outdated and smells musty. The only good part was we had an outdoor firepit so we just spent most of the time outside.

We had a room with a balcony supplied with a pair of metal chairs. Problem: It appears our balcony was connected to our neighbors room. My wife was really creeped out by this, that somebody could peek into our room or even come in thru the balcony entrance. The alternative would be to just keep the sliding glass door locked and curtains closed but I was enjoying the breeze and kept it open all night. We are more or less city people and don't know or trust any of our neighbors. It was our first time staying at the Sonoma DoubleTree so we don't know if all the rooms were like that. Other than that, it was really clean and the staff were friendly and polite. Breakfast downstairs was a little pricey for what we got but that was to be expected for wine-country prices.

They charge for parking! Wasn't ready for that! Nothing was complimentary.....not even a bottle of water. Such long hallways to walk to the elevator.

Been here several times before, however I think the beds need a redo. Ours was lumpy and saggy. The right side was saggy like it had seen 1 too many over weight persons, and the left side was rigid and uneven.. very strange.. housekeeping could be better as you could clearly see the dust buildup around the legs of the bed frame. Bathroom and all general area were clean and tidy. In conjunction with very noisy neighbors and the foot thumping from above kinda spoiled the evening.

Does not let you check in early and extra fee per day for parking.

It’s always nice to stay here but don’t expect to have your room cleaned everyday. The cookies are to die for. Check in and front desk is always great.

We were treated like we were just as important as special guests.

The hotel lobby and grounds were really nice. The warm chocolate cookies was a nice touch. PARKING: Pay $18 extra a day for an empty parking lot seems price excessive.

I do realize that this is an older property that has been updated, so keeping that in mind I have a few suggestions. There is no ventilation in the bathroom whatsoever, and I know that while you can’t install a new ventilation system, I would suggest having something available such as a dehumidifier. Also, the room was a little bit musty. Lastly, it would be good to disclose clearly that the room type that has a terrace like I had does not have a private terrace, I was surprised that it was just one long terrace without any dividers that all the rooms shared. I was a bit disappointed in this , so would be nice to have that in the description. Also, since the vending machines are out of order because they want you to come downstairs to buy beverages, it would be helpful to know that upfront or have a sign that mentions that next to the vending machine, directional signs, because I walked for quite some time through the hallways to try to find a vending machine and then found out that they Are not used anymore.

We loved this property and plan on returning as soon as we can! The lobby is amazing. (Fireplace, pool table, bar and restaurant) Our room was very comfortable! Specifically the pillows! I plan on ordering some for our home! I loved the in room Crabtree and Eveyln soap/shampoo/conditioner. Very nice place to stay if you’re in the area.

There was nothing terrible or awesome about my stay. It’s was all just the definition of average. I will say that it was SUPER inconvenient to get to our room. One elevator and the. A ridiculously long walk down several hallways. The layout is really lacking. And then getting charged for parking in an unsecured lot with warning signs seemed a little basic.

It's a pleasant hotel to stay. The room is spacious enough. The restaurant inside the hotel, Bacchus, is good. There is a small refrigerator in the room, but no microwave.The air conditioner is not easy to adjust.

So many accommodations. You didn’t need to leave for anything.

Our a/c didn’t work in our room. The sink leaked on the floor. They didn’t give us a discount when I told them we didn’t sleep well because it was so hot in the room. Charge $18 a day for parking when the parking lot is empty.

We picked the place for the pool. Unfortunately due to a cleaning process the pool was not available the day of arrival as well as the next morning departure. In general the location, restaurant, facilities, rooms and beds are great and we love the place. Parking should be free. The big negative for me was the unacceptable low pressure of the shower. If you want to save water then this way is not a good way. I had to run the water much longer to get all the soap off. At my home I turn on the water, rinse, turn off, ladder up, turn on and rinse. Much less and shorter water usage with proper pressure.

The facilities were fine. The food was ok. The hotel was a bit isolated with nothing around but golf courses.

Had to ask for towels too my many times. The day before we checked out, our room was not even cleaned.

The room smelled like a smokers room. The rooms are dated and not clean. There was mold in our bathroom.

Had delay flight so arrived around midnight just to find out the receptionist went on break. They apparently don’t have anyone covering. Hotel doesn’t seem to have professional standards or professional courtesies

Great customer service, pet friendly they even left dog treats up in front lobby, beautiful entry. Overall great stay I would book here again! 4.5 out of a 5. The only complaint was the pillow was little firm for my neck but that’s just my preference.
