They are doing updates around hotel. Not sure what they are exactly doing. They need to update AC in all the rooms. I’ve stayed quite a few times here and it’s hit or miss if the AC works. If you’re hot, at least the window will open 6” to get some air in the room. The gym needs some love too. Restaurant is very good and the staff is very friendly. Bartenders are great.

Not ideal for people who don’t have a car because there’s literally no way to get there without one, but I managed anyway. Only issue was that the power went off in my room around midnight and I was transferred another room but they basically said I was on my own with helping me move any of my stuff to the new room. New room never got serviced so I didn’t have towels. Elevator also malfunctioned a lot the first night.

No reading light, very old dirty bath, refusal to give me any cutlery other than plastic and a cardboard cup for coffeebecause i was 1minute after 11.00am and all the breakfast still laid out. Two staff extremely rude not to mention unhelpful. Was given breakfast as a freebie because bedside lights not working. Old and tired hotel and i will never stay again nor use hotel.com as i paid insurance too! And they both refused my refund after booking was completed nit even ten minutes. A con frankly hotel.com

It was ok for the time we needed it. I would’ve sworn i thought I booked 2 queen but the beds were full. We managed. Restaurant offered buffet or a la cart. They should just say buffet, a la cart is pointless, we didn’t get everything we ordered and we had to ask for it multiple times. For how expensive it is they should just do free continental breakfast. Also the convenient store was not convenient. It was cash only! Not really impressed. Only great thing was it was right off the highway from the GWB.

Air conditioner was not working. Told the front desk and they said they would send someone up right away. We left to go into the city upon arriving back our room was still 80 degrees. We went to the front desk and they gave us a new room. However, same issue. So the room never dropped less than 80 degrees! I believe they either shut the air off throughout the building or they need a new system!

I coudnt sleep because of AC was not working at that moment. Tempurture was above 80, I was sweating. I called front desk and he said somebody will stop by to fix. I waited an hour, nobody came. I called front desk again and he said he will send somebody. I waited another hour, he called my room and said he will change another room. I got another room key, and when open the door, somebody was sleeping, we were sursprised and he yelled at me. I was so mad not only because he gave me an occupied room, but he’s attitude. He said it is not his fault,it is systems fault. Never said sorry.he said it could happened and ed for refund, but he give me refund because manager wasn’t there. He said manager will come 7:30am. I waited 7:30am manager wasn’t there. He said he will come at 9:00am. Therefore, I could’t sleep 9:00am, and hotels.com said I can’t get refund because manager Is not at hotel. This is so ridiculous. The front guy name is Hamilton.

The staff at this establishment were really helpful when i had questions and didn’t hesitate to change my room when i informed them that the ac didn’t work.

Good property with a few hiccups! The first problem was at check-in; I reserved a double and when i arrived i was told the contrary. A double was not available and there will be a surcharge of $25 for a cot. When i showed the employee my reservation, a cot was provided at no extra fee. I felt a little bit gaslighted. Later that night, someone tried to open the door with a key card but the latch was on, when i called the desk service i was told that it was one of the employees checking if the room was empty. Strange because don't they have a system indicating if whether a room is occupied or not? But what do I know? An overall nice hotel but there are some improvement to be made when it comes to customer service.

The one of the elevated quit working on the lobby floor so the other one would not come down, untill some one came down on them and we lost cold water for about half hour other then that fine

House keeping definitely needs improvement. The room was dusty and the bathrooms fixtures were gross. The shower head was full of that pink nasty water build up. The room got so hot at night. I called the front desk to let them know the ac wasn’t working. Maintenance came up and said the hotel purposely has the AC set so that guests can’t change it. He had to remove a panel from the site of the AC to show my husband how he could reset it himself.

Sound proof needed from outdoor road/traffic. Staff friendly and room clean up good Only issue is that the complimentary shower gel/ shampoo/ conditioner needs to be verified. The shower gel was empty when we checked in and was not verified at clean up

Needs some updating but the services and especially the restaurant was excellent. Close to where we needed to go in NY.

The hotel overall was nice. Warm cookies at check in were good. Room was clean, but had some cosmetic fixes that needed to be redone correctly. The window was also not secured, there could be issues with other people, as the window opened with no screen. They had full size shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion, though the conditioner was empty. This hotel is right off the expressway, which was nice, but not easy to get back to from Manhattan as you have to drive thru the neighborhood and around the hotel to the expressway again to get back.

Requiring important maintenance and improvements. The A/C broke in the middle of the night and staff had to come help restart it. Apparently it is a common occurrence. The pool is in repair so it is closed. Only one out of two treadmills is functional. It is OK hotel for the price.

I used to stay here when this hotel first opened. Used to be a great hotel. I am highly disappointed that they haven't done renovations or upgrades through the years( it seems). Lobby is really nice, but the rooms are a blast from the past. Paint chipping in the windiows, not even cleaned up.. Air conditioning was broken- 80+ degrees trying to sleep was impossible. I was better if sleeping in the car to be honest. Especially at close to $300 for the night. Toilet would not stop running, also very annoying. My towels were stale and smelled a bit like corn chips. Nice staff and reception. They sent a tech to look at the ac, but it stopped working every 40 minutes or so. I should have picked another hotel for the evening, not a restful time at all. I've stayed at quite a few hotels in the area, there are better for sure. Good luck!

Service was good. I stay at the hotel a few times a year. This visit, the bathroom had mold and the room had a humid/musty smell that emanated from the carpet. The tub stopper was also broken. Bed was comfortable. With a bit more attention, this hotel could be much better. The restaurant is very good.

I had a good experience at this hotel. I give it a 4/5 because it is a little dated but clean and I'm told will be renovated next year. I give it a 10 out of 5 for their service especially the service in the cafe! Jordan and the team made my mom and I feel like we were at home and the breakfast was delicious!

The property was okay just a bit out dated. The cleanliness in the rooms could be better. The cabinet to the refrigerator kept getting stuck. The outlet did not work in the bathroom. They kept going in and out. The hotel was a convenient location for us.
