I checked in October 23, 2024 I checked in about one or 2 o’clock. I was in room 120 and I’ve noticed the people in 118 had their music kinda with a upbeat sound from all the way till 7:00 PM Ivan asked the manager Five times or six times about it and then finally he moved up to a different room on the third floor in room 303 at around 7 o’clock or 630 and he said he walked around to see if he could hear anything but I don’t think he did and he was telling me it was from the van cross the street from the college that wasn’t it that was playing right music And I constantly told him about it and he told me that he thinks he know who it is, but he waited almost all day to move me up to a different room. That’s kinda like my place to stay when I go to Las Cruces, New Mexico, but to be treated like that, I was fixing to ask for my refund

I like that the property is convenient to the main streets and services we need. I did not like the fact that when we arrived the clerk then informed me that there was no hot water in any of the rooms. (BUMMER) I cannot understand how the property would still book rooms knowing this issue had occurred, as I understand this is an ongoing problem and not something which just happened. Also the bathroom pocket door is absurd it needs to be fixed, the shower leaks all over the floor. and the entry door has a lot of gap does not seem to close properly. FYI we were in room 113.

We there for NMSU Aggie game, 1st of we encountered some kind of issue that involved police, so the wait was a long wait. We had no hot water for showering, purchased a dozen tamales a couple of burritos, brought home left overs put them in the refrigerator to find out in the morning that they were dripping with water because refrigerator didn’t work, 1st of all we walked up to room and keys would not open room maintenance gentleman had to come reprogram door… just were never even told about hot water not working when we registered. Someone had prayed off look in bathroom previously.

We have been staying there once a month the past 7 months because it was close to my husbands doctors. 4 months ago the pool was closed, we could live with that,3 months ago no breakfast, if we wanted to have something to eat we had to walk across a parking lot to another motel. My spouse is unable to walk that far because of his chemo treatments. So come this stay and no pool, no breakfast, we still book a room and it states rate is non refundable. The amount is deducted from my card before we get there and after checking in we're told no hot water so no shower ! We have no choice but to stay since it's paid for and we can't afford another motel. To top it off in the middle of the night the A/C quits working in the room . I spent over an hour getting it to work again since there was no one there to fix it Not happy for sure

We were in a safe area with lots of food/stores near us. Breakfast was good- sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy, potatoes, etc. Ice machine was broken on third floor. The room was clean and neat. The only complaints was there was not a refrigerator in the room and there's not much of a division between the bathroom and the beds. Overall, it's a good place to stay. I would stay there again!!

The front desk clerk when checking in was very nice and when we checked out as well. The room was most part clean just the sheets looked like it had a little blood stain and the toilet wasn’t completely cleaned well the inside bowl. Rather than that we enjoyed our stay.

The pool was closed for maintenance and apparently the kitchen was as well. We were told that we could walk over to the hotel next door for the “complementary breakfast” which ended up not doing, because it was too much of a hassle for us. We picked this hotel because of the indoor pools as free breakfast, but we were surely let down. The place looked pretty run down too. We have stayed here before, and it was never in this bad condition. We will no longer be booming at this hot in the future.

Upon arrival I had to switch rooms because the first one smelled like smoke. The HVAC unit was super noisy. I had trouble working the keys for the second room. A couple across the hall had a domestic and it didn’t seem like there was any security. I did feel safe after that.

Very nice staff clean rooms fairly well equipped, need some working USB outlets and possibly a local TV station guide. Loved finding a Bible in the drawer.

Great to stay for proximity to UNM Rooms were clean and air conditioning was quiet. Only negative was an issue with the key lock to enter the room. It was very difficult to unlock the door from the outside. I consider this a safety issue.

This Sleep Inn was disgusting. I’m sure the room was not completely cleaned and definitely not vacuumed. The shower had hair in it and the bathroom smelled like somebody just dropped a #2. The comforter had pet hair on it and several dark spots, and the other bed didn’t have a comforter. My wife had to buy some disinfectant wipes, some Lysol spray and a toilet wand to clean the bathroom and shower before we could use them. We would have complained to the front desk, but we were exhausted from a full day of work and travel. Never again at this hotel!

Unfortunately - upon arrival between 5:30pm-6pm we were given access to the rooms to find only 1 of the 4 units we reserved was made up, and the one was poorly cleaned. Once made up - it appeared they only put clean sheets on the beds and clean towels. The carpet was not cleaned nor were the surfaces. This property has great potential - but the cleaning staff needs to be educated/trained to make this property successful. When we approached the cleaning lady she was NOT happy she had to make up our rooms. The front desk woman was pleasant and apologetic - indicated she would have to make up the rooms if the cleaning staff did not complete their work properly. Seems you are understaffed and the staff you have is overworked and not doing quality work.

Check in was quick. Front desk clerk for check in and check out were very friendly. Kids loved the pool. The beds were a little firm for our liking. Carpets in general were a mess but the rest of the room was clean. Environment was quiet and we were able to get a good nights rest.

Overall a “meh” location. Safe and close to NMSU, staff was VERY nice, pool was small and the amenities are few, small tv, beds clean but average. No fridge in our room, one ice machine for entire building. Breakfast was ok, small but I’m c’mon it’s free.
