I can honestly say Park Gstaad is my favourite place I have ever stayed. Highly recommend Gstaad in summer and if you go then stay at Park! The hotel is beautiful and has everything you need, including the most stunning views. All of the staff are incredibly friendly and always willing to help out.
We visited some of the other hotels for drinks etc and all of them are lovely but we were so glad we were staying at Park.
Also, I have a small dog and this is the first hotel I’ve stayed at that says it is dog friendly and really means it! That doesn’t mean there are lots of naughty dogs around but as a dog owner it was fabulous. And none of that compromises on the luxury, comfort of cleanliness f the hotel.

We loved our three nights at the Park Gstaad. Service was excellent all around. Food was generally very good, Chubut was particularly nice - one of the better steaks we’ve had in Switzerland.
We heard they are renovating soon… not necessary but I’m sure it will be taken to an even higher level. The main spaces could be a bit more generous in scale - but we found the rooms quite comfortable and liked the configuration which limits hallway/bathroom noise from the rest of the space.
Only miss the whole stay was the sushi in the bar area… the quality was mediocre, rice was hard and cold on the maki.
We have stayed at the Alpina and many other Gstaad/Swiss high end hotels - we consider the Park Gstaad near the top of the list and will be back.

The hotel is excellent. One of the best I have ever stayed. Impeccable service without being stuffy and formal. High quality restaurant and bar. Beautiful property within a 5 minute wlaking distance from the main promenade. The first night we got a room which had no shower, however the staff moved us the next day and all was swell... the views of the mountains are breathtaking. Highly recommended property...

Located up a hill but not far away. Its about 10 minutes from the center of the room. We had outstanding service and they make a point to know our names. The doorman, the kindly Josef was outstanding. The rooms were big and modern. We didnt have the expensive mountain view but the forest view was outstanding and beautiful....like a tree house almost. Yes it isnt the Palace but much cheaper. Expedia included about $120 voucher for dinner but didnt buy one complete dinner even minus the drinks but Expedia only one that gave that offer. We enjoyed the stay.

It's not cheap, but you don't really expect it to be. Having said that, I've stayed in plenty of 5 star luxury hotels , and I have to say that in terms of friendliness of staff, cleanliness of everything, helpfulness all round the hotel could not be faulted at all.
