It was the smallest hotel room I ever seen, and they charged me a ridiculous amount . The carpet was stained I would never stay there again.

Mostly very good, except the walls are transparent to neighboring sound. A tough fix, but where there is a corporate will, there will be a way…

Its convenient, clean and friendly staff

We were looking for an affordable but decent place to stay that wasn’t too far from Highmark stadium. This wasn’t the Hilton but it fit the bill. Staff was friendly and accommodating, there was a Walmart and lots of restaurants and fast food places nearby and free breakfast helped us get a good start to the day. Go Bills!

Staff were very helpful and kind. The building was a little dated but very clean. Beds were comfortable and room sizes are nice.

Very nice layout. liked the entrance and room. However desperately needs to be updated, fresh paint, carpet and fixtures. Also needs charging ports. Glad I brought my charging blocks besides just cords.

Hotel clean and convenient to Buffalo. Good bed and room.

It was great overall. Great value for your money if you plan to visit the Niagara Falls.

Very bad experience. Once we enter the room it stinked of very dampy room and with front desk help and some air freshener the smell was bearable. Next morning the whole bathroom was leaking from roof. Many other rooms also has similar complaints. All the hotel plumbing is leaking

Friendly staff, good breakfast, hot water in shower. -No refrigerator in room.

Easy check in and check out; however, carpet needs to be replace and bathroom body wash needs to be refilled. Shower head needs to be check out and water pressure not good.

The parking lot was being redone (which I know you have to do) but it was inconvenient to go around the paving project.

The room is just on the small side. Good enough for business trip

I’ve been staying at this hotel for years, in my rating last year I stated how run down this hotel was and was advised they were working to renovate it. Linoleum in our bathroom was ripped, crinkled rugs that are tripping hazards in the halls if you aren’t careful. This hotel has not been updated since I stayed when it first opened. This is our last stay!!

The pictures on the website didn’t show the wall of mirrors behind the beds. While nothing was dirty, everything was aged and had signs of wear, from the carpets throughout the building to the countertops in the bathroom.

This is a low end hotel at a higher rate of cost for what it is. There is virtually no competition in the area to keep costs reasonable. There is a musty smell which the staff tries to hide with a quite strong scented deodorizer. The front end staff is great. No problem there. But it is not good value for the cost of a night’s stay. Simply put it is just too expensive for what it is.

I’m not sure why this place has 8/10 but I had a wonderful stay here in all respects. Very clean, well maintained, quiet place with great location. Staff I won’t say is bad but they’re just minding their own business (no greeting or whatsoever), otherwise doing great job.

Aweful. Non-smoking room that used to be a smoking room with the smell still permeating the carpet and furniture. Super uncomfortable bed, hash chemicals used in laundry made me itch all over (and I don’t even have sensitive skin!), huge gap at the bottom of the door so you heard everything going on outside and had a significant amount of light coming in all night, walls so thin that you could head the neighbours even if speaking softly.

We had a very pleasant stay here. The staff were very helpful and friendly, room was comfortable, and breakfast had options everyone liked. Price was reasonable too.

I was VERY disappointed with this Microtel. It needs updating. The hall carpet was wrinkled so you had to be careful not to trip. The toilet would only fully flush if you held the handle down. There was no microwave or refrigerator in our room. When asked, I was told only the "suites" had a refrigerator. Suites?!? I stayed the night before at a Microtel and they had a refrigerator in our room.

Odour throughout was Microtel was artificially sweet smell, initially warm and inviting BUT caused headache and allergic symptoms. Perhaps change the brand of deodorizer.

I absolutely would not recommend this hotel at all. To start off the hotel actual appears decent from the outside but once given your room the walls are so thin you can hear everything that goes on in every other room. I could hear people above walking back and forth all night, stomping, and you could even hear the shower being turned on and the water running through the walls as if it was coming from inside your room so this left for a sleepless night which was a personal waste of my money. To make matters worse since leaving I’ve been charged 3 times for a room that I should have only been charged for one night. I reach out and call and I’m told that during the nightly audit they recharge your card as a hold and it won’t fall off for 3-5 business days. This honestly shouldn’t be allowed as it was never stated through the booking or when I gave my card at the front desk. So I was charged again for the room a 2nd time fast forward and I check my bank account to see if the hold fell off however I find that sometime between last night and today they charged my card for a 3rd time for the full amount!! this is ridiculous and my account is now negative
