Barcelo is amazing and that singer who does the salsa show on Thursday and the merengue show Sunday was incredible and the band were total professionals !!! All the bartender and waitresses were also very kind .... Beach was incredible... Almost as incredible as that salsa singer.... Can't wait to come back as this was my third stat ... And hope to see you soon !!!

Barceló Bávaro Beach - Adults Only - All Inclusive was simply amazing. An enormous resort with something to do for everyone. Amazing pool, amazing beach. Friendly staff. I loved my room which was approximately 100 yards from the clean beach. Plenty of chairs, plenty of space. Check in was easy. Casino, cigar lounge, many restaurants and lounges, shows and other entertainment was top notch. Plenty of security. Trolley that runs every 10 mins. Golfing on resort. Plenty of centers for kids. Pools for families. Great gym and spa. Had all inclusive and room fridge was always filled. Housekeeping was great also. Shops stayed open late. I will certainly be back soon!

This resort iffers alot of shopping, dining and entertainment however most of the options are not usuable due to a rotten moldy smell throughout the buildings. It was so bad in the bowling alley we couldnt stay for a more than a minute. The adults side pool area is super boring they dont even play music and there is no swim up bar. You have to get out of the pool just to get a drink amd the TWO waitresses spent there time behind the bar talking to other ataff rather than taking drinking orders. We even told them to keep coming around we tip well and gave them a ten dollar bill. To show wr will continue to tip. They came arooumd a couple of times more and that was all. I had to ask repeatively to get washclothes and eventually recieved them after going downstairs to the frontdesk. We stayed at Excellance Punta Cana the last time we were in the DR and it was amazing. This resort fails compared to Excellance. We rrally wanted to like it due to the options it offered but in the end the execution did not live up to its name.

My wife and i loved this property while celebrating our 4 year anniversary. Everything was in walking distance of our room. We walked out our back door onto the beach. We were greeted by all staff anytime we walked. I definitely like the different foods that were served. We stayed at Adults side, however the Palace had more options as far food and activities. We had a bottle of alcohol for the duration of our stay. We had a hard time getting our minibar refilled so i definitely would say get your cleaned or you may not get your minibar restocked. The property was pretty clean as well. The rooms could use an update.

We had a family member birthday #60 in the hotel and a five days stay. Evelyn Ramirez help us coordinating the group visit and the dinner for 30 family members the birthday night. I liked the staff, the cleanliness, and the property areas.

We loved the Barcelo Bavaro Beach Adults Only. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Easy to get sun beds by the pool and at the ocean, no waits for staff to get you drinks, no long lines, no screaming kids. It was so close to Bavaro Palace (5 min. walk or 2 min. shuttle) and you are able to use all the facilities there (pool, restaurants, gym, spa, casino….) if you desire. Our 18 and 19 year old enjoyed going there for the nightclub and their age group but my husband and I loved the Adults Only Resort, peaceful, no long lines and fantastic service. The restaurants, specifically La Brisa at night was fabulous food and service. It was nice having the option of 2 resorts in one of you wanted that. All residence buildings are right on the beach which is so beautiful. The sand so soft and the ocean right off of a post-card. One thing we found unreasonable was the price of playing golf at the golf-course. From fees, club rentals, carts, and even purchasing balls, it was quite extreme considering it was an all-inclusive. Big love to Anna G. our pool waitress and Giorgina our cocktail server at the casino. Such lovely, happy people to us.

We spent 4 nights and 5 days at Barceló Bavaro Beach Adults Only Resort. On our first night before bed I noticed a couple bugs on our bedding. I thought it was just a one off but when I woke up the next morning there were several more around the room and I was disgusted. We had a ground floor suite with a swimming pool off our room. We went to the front desk and we requested a new room but the woman at the desk laughed at us and told us it was because it had rained the night before and that they would send someone to spray. We decided to give it a chance and it seemed to have worked for a couple nights. By the fourth night we continued to see bugs. We didn’t bother telling the staff again because we were leaving in the morning. Overall we didn’t enjoy our stay and wouldn’t recommend anyone stay here as it is not worth the money.

I completely Understand once its summer and hot there is a lot of flies every where but in food?????? I am not sure how you can not mange to keep the buffet covered from flies ???? How much this will cost such a resort to manage this issue ??? Most of dishes were unclean also we complained many times and it seems no one cares ! So sad for such beautiful resort to not care about the most important part of the stay which clean Food !
