Overall it was as expected for the price. The staff were friendly, the location was excellent (10/10)! The heated pool was great (8/10). Unfortunately, the rooms were extremely outdated and in need of work, all the doors rubbed and were hard to shut/open, the mini fridge didn’t cool, and the microwave barely worked, (6 minutes to warmup coffee). They did a great job cleaning around the pool area, but the hot-tub was broken. They didn’t clean the room during our stay, but did switch out the towels. Also, they were out of hand soap, and brought us dishwasher detergent as a replacement. Again, the hotel does not look like the pictures and is in dire need of remodeling; however, the views and access to the beach was amazing. That being said, love the area, but not sure we would go back to this hotel.

Staff are friendly and available always to help. View, Heated outdoor pool & Hot tub are highlights Property is old building but all others are good. May be if they renovate property with paint and carpet upgrade this property will be rocking. Still for this price range a decent hotel to stay with family.

We arrived at the hotel and was told we couldn’t pay cash for our stay. She called her manager and he said he would accept it. Our balance per hotels.com was 219.00 because we paid the first nights stay, but we were told by the front desk we owed 319.00. The lady at the front desk was very rude. She was talking to someone else that worked there the entire time I was standing there in a different language, which made me very uncomfortable. We were looking forward to the hot tub and it was out of order and the pool was supposed to be heated and it wasn’t. We’ve stayed here many times, but this was the worst and made our trip very unpleasant.

It was great overall it was away from everything. Did not eat at the resteraunt a little to pricey for the food. wish the hot tub was working no big deal. Hope in the future they will be doing breakfast.

This place is in dire need of a renovation. Multiple spots in the ceilings throughout the hotel are literally falling in, furniture is very rough, drains severely clogged in tubs and sinks. Mold on our balcony. Much of our one-night stay wreaked of weed. Couldn’t enjoy our balcony because the horrid skunk weed smell. Beds very uncomfortable. The best thing about this place is that it’s on beach. The restaurant has very good food and a fun, inviting atmosphere. The hotel staff was meh.

First time staying here at this hotel because everything was booked because of the bike race. First and foremost, the important was I did NOT see one bug and that is the highest importance to me. 😃 The hotel was very rundown, needs lots of renovations. The front desk people were so so. But all the employees that walked by my room while I was sitting on the balcony on the bottom floor were so friendly, and they had very nice towels, which surprised me. The betting was nice, but the bed was rockhard. They did have a pool and a barn grill that looked pretty good but I did not use. I booked the king/kitchenette which everything works fine, I just thought they’d have a little bit more in the kitchen cupboards to use since they had a full kitchen. But I always come prepared and had some things with me. I found it disturbing that they charged you for ice and some guy said it was seven dollars a bag, wow!!!. But if you’re looking for cheap price in a rating of 3.. This would be your hotel to stay at. I always stay at the beachcomber But they were booked.

Nice stay for Thunder Beach Fall Rally. Great parking for trailers, motorcycle parking also. Everything was very nice, overall. Some very minor details, TV remote didn't work, no big deal. Toilet paper holder in the bathroom was Glued & Gooked" to the wall. Again, very minor stuff

When we booked we knew it was not high end, but our room faced the pool and the beach and that was our focus. It was dated and yet did not bother us due to the good location. Pool chairs on deck were nice to use in the afternoon. It has a nice bar and grill reasonably priced. Easy access to the Beach.

Not the room I chose in the picture. Shower was so small half my body was out. I have stayed here many times but was disappointed in the room this time. I booked the room under Rusty, but my credit card has Russell. They gave me a hard time about excepting it and had to go to upper management. Ridiculous! I'm not sure any Americans were working there.

I was weary at first because we booked so last minute and it was a little on the cheaper side. This hotel is extremely outdated and could use some major renovations but it was well kept and the rooms and linens were very clean! I feel like the price reflected the need for renovations. It was a perfect weekend stay for us! We will be back!

We had a fantastic Fall Break. We had a large hotel that had two separate bedrooms, a refrigerator, sink and microwave. The balcony overlooks the white sandy beach and crystal clear water. There is a diner across the street that is really good, but they only accept cash. Hotel does have an ATM which was convenient.

My friends and I had a great stay here! The staff was very helpful. They responded immediately when there was an issue. The manager even upgraded my friend's room at no charge so she could stay near us. The beach views from the balcony can not be beat. Our stay was very quiet, and the location of the property is great for those who dont want to be in the busy areas near Pier Park. The exterior of the hotel could definitely use some sprucing up, and the furniture is a bit worn. But otherwise, it was a really nice stay.

My college friends and I met up in PCB for a long weekend. This hotel was affordable and the staff were all helpful and even accommodated me in moving me to a room that would be closer to my friends. The hotel feels a little run down, but the room was very clean, and the view of the beach is fantastic. Great value for the money.

Great hotel, staff very nice. Double room was very spacious but there was a drip in the wall when shower ran. Bed was comfortable. Great view from the balcony. We were here 6 days 7 nights, everything was great, except the only downfall which would make us not want to stay here again was there is nothing around. Food, ice cream, stores. Nothing is within walking distance, we had to drive 15 plus minutes to go everywhere. Going down the strip further there was golf carts and people out everywhere and stuff to do, but like a ghost town down at our end. The food at the bar/grill at the restaurant was overpriced and a very small diner across the street that seats like 30 people so don’t expect to eat there. Overall experience 7/10.

It’s A Great, Safe Hotel For A Solo or Couples Beach Stay. Beautiful Balcony Views!!! It’s A Older Hotel But Our Room Was Clean And Well Stocked. The Soap/Bodywash and Lotion Dispensers Were Very Convenient. The Bar Was Nice With Good Drinks and Good Vibes. We’ll definitely be back.

We have stayed here several times and have lived it. This stay was a little less awesome than previous stays throughout the last year and half. It wasn’t terrible and some of it wasn’t due to staff or the actual room. It was the overwhelming smell of weed. This is the first time we have had that happen here and it was so bad. I know it is everywhere but come on folks, not everyone likes the smell of it. Hopefully next time we will be able to sit on our balcony again.
