Classic motel style in excellent condition.Directly across the street from Venice Beach and a 15 minute walk to Historic Venice.

This was a fun getaway. No agenda. The Inn was a great place with a next door location t the beach. The pool and hot tub were nice as were the grounds. The breakfast was a real bonus. BUT, the best aspect of the room was the recliner. All hotels and Inn's could learn from them.

I booked a deluxe studio,1 king bed ,beach view and on the picture we were supposed to have a private balcony instead the balcony was in the hallway The room are overpriced,there is no beach view because the beach is on the other side of the street

I would lovely stay here, the staff was very friendly and helpful. I spoke to several people and all were equally accommodating and kind. Inn by the Beach is well-kept and clean. I would’ve preferred two Queens versus two double beds in our room, but appreciated the double pained glass windows as it was nice and quiet in our room.

The location was within walking to sunset sail and restaurant. Directly across from the beach. Very clean. Friendly staff.

It was ok. The beach view is kind of false advertising. You can see the beach sort of through all the trees. The bed was like sleeping on a piece of plywood. The cleaning staff decided to stand outside our door for about an hour and have a conversation while we were trying to get some rest. It was very clean overall and the staff at the desk was very nice! The room is nicely stocked with anything you would need. Overall it was ok but we definitely wouldn’t go back.

We came for the night to retrace old steps as we formerly lived in Venice and left a year ago to establish our family in Clearwater, where we are now parents to a one year old. We chose Inn at The Beach because of the quaintness, closeness to the beach, and the hot tub specifically, as it was in the 50’s prior to our overnight visit. When we tried the hot tub at a reasonable time, there were five or six young men in it. So be it; first come, first serve. In the hours until close, I intermittently checked back, and it was ultimately assumed by these young men until close at 11pm. At that time, they left, walked off of the property to cars in beach parking, and left. Yep, not guests. I was “pissed.” I first contacted VPD non-emergency, who apparently doesn’t have a manned line at night, and moved on to hotel security. The security guard initially ignored me, then divulging “no hablo Ingles.” It was a good thing I was able to ask for managements telephone number in Spanish, to which he would only respond “closed” while gesturing to the doorbell near the lobby door. Anyways, nobody came after ten minutes and we moved on. I contacted Tim in the morning, who I spoke to for a moment, but never got back to me after not being available when I went to the office upon checking out. It’s been three days, and I’m very surprised he still hasn’t reached out, so here’s an honest review.

Wonderful modern facility near the beach. First stay in Venice and we loved it!

Great clean quiet place!

Very clean, comfortable beds. My room was on the second floor. No elevator, so I had to drag my suitcase up the stairs. The breakfast buffet was minimal with all bread items, donuts etc. wrapped in Saran Wrap, which I found weird. very close to beach and walkable to a great downtown shopping area. I would probably not stay there again.

Great place to stay. Easy walk across the street to the beach. Only acfew blocks to down town. Convenient to other beaches in the area.

Great location with easy access to the beach. Overlooks and nice green Town center which I feel very comfortable going for a morning run. Delicious breakfast to go.

As far as a travel guest experience goes, it couldn’t get any better than this. Will definitely return to The Inn at the Beach in Venice.

We have been here twice now and love the convenience to shopping, dining, and the beach. It could use a deep clean( Tile) and update, but still enjoyed our stay and will be back

It was fine to have a place to sleep but I kept waking up to the sound of a mouse in the wall.

We were surprised when we walked in the room. We figured it was just gonna be a hotel room. It was adorable. Full kitchen, 2 full baths and separate private bedroom. We loved it.

Well kept boutique properly across from Venice Beach. We were in a suite that had a kitchenette. Would stay here again. Love historic downtown Venice.

loved the access to beach across the street liked the old school charm nearby shopping room perfectly clean didn’t like the room#210 as situated above office where sliding doors made it feel like above a bowling alley pin reset machine particularly at later hours

Place had an amazing location across the street from the beach and walking distance to everything. Very clean and spacious accommodations with friendly staff.

Place is great if you plan to spend time on the beach. I recommend calling them directly before using 3rd party reservations as many add on hidden fees vs just booking directly.

Very expensive stay for a small room with uncomfortable bed and loud AC.

Beautiful property and staff upgraded us at check in which was wonderful. Very nice staff, immaculately clean, perfect location! We will definitely be back.
