Fabulous hotel right on the beach. Stayed in the adults only with a dedicated pool for that area of the hotel. Really enjoyed it. Breakfast was full of options. Service was wonderful.

The staff were wonderful but the resort is looking a little tied and worn. The shower was nearly impossible to regulate with either boiling hot water or cold.

I booked the Adults only Club Room which has a separate pool, Jacuzzi and is very silent. The resort is massive, the breakfast good. SPA and laundry I can’t judge. Happy Hour Cocktails at the pool were great, the best rates in Bali. I enjoyed the stay a lot! Two suggestions: you have a sign at the sun bed to not reserve beds, but you did not take action. Beds were sometimes reserved the entire day. Reception is very friendly but the staff during afternoon tea time at the beach or at the restaurant was not always friendly and attentive. I waited 30 min to be served. The promenade at the beach with all its restaurants is amazing!

The hotels gardens are absolutely gorgeous. We stayed in a prenier room which was huge and well furnished. The pool was for premier guests only and was gorgeous as well as adult only and tranquil. The hotel restaurants were very good and good value for money . The beach bar is a great place to hang out and enjoy a meal or a drink. The Asian restaurant is gorgeous. The building is beautiful and the food excellent. Finally all members of staff are friendly, helpful and always smiling

We stayed a week at the Sankara. Great location in front of the pool and the beach. There is a snorkeling spot just in front of the hotel and we really enjoyed ! No need to take a boat (except to see the manta). Overall clean. Good service and very kind staff. Restaurant ok by the beach. Scooter rental available and anything else you need. Probably the best hotel in the Island. Highly recommended !

Grounds are gorgeous but interior decoration a little tired. The decorative bedding smelt fusty and could use a dry clean. One room also had bit of a fusty smell overall and lines came under taps needs property descaled. Shower hot water takes a while to run hot. Staff couldn’t been more helpful and pleasant! Can walk Ali g beach to numerous restaurants.

An excellent resort hotel. What I loved the most here was the Balinese style of the place. The beautiful gardens, the excellent pool areas and building architecture place you very firmly in a Bali experience. Set right on the beach with a long walking promenade all along the beach leading to other restaurants, bars etc. Close by just outside the front gate there are many more places to eat and drink too. Food at the hotel is also very good. Service and friendliness of the staff was very good. Rooms are dark but well appointed and large. I've stayed in number of places along this busy coast and this is my pick - the one I'd come back to.

Lovely staff, beautiful green gardens and grounds. Great location for us, on the beach, walk to shops restaurants. breakfast a bit repetitive, not enough vegetables. Shower head in bathroom adjustment not working. Hot water took ages to come and then scalding hot. Had to be careful. Positives far outweigh negatives though and we loved our stay at the Puri.

We had to wait 4 hours for our room to be ready when we checked in, the bed and pillows were very hard and not comfortable and we were surrounded by families with small people and they were very noisy. Would have been better for us as a couple to be located away from the children. Stall lovely and facilities were adequate but would not stay here again

This resort is authentic Bali. Beautiful to visitors looking for the original character of the island if you visited back in the 80s and 90s before it was so busy, but with all the comfort and mod cons of today!

We were very happy with our allocated room and it was lovely and quiet. The choice of pools to relax or swim and the beautiful gardens were fantastic. Having the ocean a few metres away was also a plus .? The time of year was very quiet but suited us. Would definitely recommend it .

Puri Santrian is lovely with lots of pools and in the gorgeous gardens in traditional Balinese style. We got Queen beds instead of Twins (which we booked). The beds were huge and there were no twin rooms left so we had to share. Staff weren’t very helpful in reception.

The staff were all friendly, warm , helpful & polite. The Mezzanine Restaurant had the best Roast Duck I have ever eaten , among other dishes. I highly recommend it.

The hotel is beautiful and in a great location, set both on the beach and main road. Our room was huge! and had a balcony overlooking the pool which was beautiful. There are lots of different swimming options at the hotel, and free bike hire. The breakfast in the morning was delicious, and the staff made you feel really safe and relaxed.

Very charming property in a relatively quiet area, good customer service and room service was efficient. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming towards guests staying at the hotel. The only thing to impove is the spa service. Although the spa I had was nice however I felt that the price was too high compared to other places that offer a similar service.

It was OK. We were truthfully there when it wasn't sunny so we didn't get to try out the pool and beach, which is obviously the main draw, but what I can say is that the room was pretty standard (despite having the premier deluxe) and the restaurant was forgettable. Still, it is a good option if you are dead set on Sanur - we liked our time in Ubud MUCH more though if you were debating how to weight your trip.

The Puri Santrian is a very beautiful resort. Gardens are lush and private. The beach front has a large outdoor dining area, sunbeds and lounges for sunbathing and relaxing. It has two large pools that have steps into the pool for easy access. The staff were amazing and friendly. There are many restaurants just a short walk from the resort. Lots of shopping and services such as laundry and massages. loved the beach and the walking path along the beach. You can also hire bicycles for the day and ride along the bike path. Sanur was a pleasant surprise. I loved the hotel and Sanur was a pleasant surprise.

Room up grade was up six flights of steps with no lift. At aged 80 and 77 although age appropriately very fit it didn’t seem like an appropriate up grade

We were upgraded to a Club room. An outdated room far from the main pool and dining. We asked to be down graded again to a modern room. It was small but had a fresh bathroom close to the besch and pool are. They did this without complaints. The breakfast was good and people working there terrific. The beach is sometimes full of sea weed and they took it away one day out of 8, the water had always a lot of it. So, during 8 days stay we swimmed twice in the sea. The pool area is nice. People are allowed to book pool beds with some towels even if it was stipulated on signs saying…not ok.

A perfect ending for our stay in Bali. The garden-like, well maintained and tidy surroundings combined with our comfy and spacious room made for a very relaxing experience. The staff were kind and helpful with everything, and made us feel very welcome. Can highly recommend and will be back in the future!
