This place is really awful. I wish I had taken photos of our room. No comforter (just a sheet on the bed), a clogged sink, and no Wifi, the front office was a mess, it was stinky, and I just felt dirty lying in the bed. I will not be returning to this hotel. For $194 per night, you'd think you'd get much more for your money. Just awful.

The photos shown during the booking are absolutely nothing like the actual room. No washcloths were given, the bathroom is the only updated part in the room, it smells musty, it’s very humid & wet smelling, there is no remote to the tv, the stairs are almost straight up & down & can be scary with luggage in hand. There are no directions for check out either. It is fairly quiet & the beds weren’t horrible but those are the only pluses here.

You get what you pay for. The hotel was old, and off the main highway. The room smelled like mold and mildew. The front desk person was very friendly and nice. That said, when we decided to leave early due to the storm, then nobody knew anything about getting a refund for the night we did not stay. The worst part was that we could have dealt with all of those things, but then the microwave did not work, and we could not heat up the dogs' breakfast in the morning. Both us and the dogs give this place four paws down!

This is a basic hotel for the value oriented traveler, and a bargain considering the area. It was surprisingly clean, and I did not find any evidence of insects. Although some of the decor decisions were not to my personal taste, everything was clean and in working order, and the room had been recently renovated. Here i would encourage the owners to redecorate in a style that American travelers understand and look for in a coastal area, i.e. blues, white, gray, and no shiny fabrics. The people working there, although their english is limited, were very kind and eager to help us have everything we wanted. The only downside was the door handle lock assembly needs to be replaced. It is flimsy and, unfortunately, you can not leave it in a unlock position if you need to run out to your car or something. Word to the wise, carry your door key with you, and bring plastic utensils with you if you plan to eat take out in the room. There was a clean kitchenette with microwave and fridge, but no plates, forks, spoons, etc., and the front desk does not carry these items. Lastly, this hotel is not accessible for travelers in wheelchairs. There are steps to get into the rooms, and no ramps that i could see.

Check in was fine. We got in the room to find it smelled like cigarette smoke even though it was a non smoking room. My kids climbed into bed to find large clumps of hair in one of the queen beds. The whole place had a bad vibe. The pictures are very deceiving! We did not spend the night.

The dead bolt was very flimsy. There was no one in the office in the morning when I went to drop off the key. Another guest told me her room had fleas. It was scary, and I did not feel safe.

cheap stay for 1 night and not too far from point judith and mystic. Room wasn’t the most clean and had some hair around. Minimum hot water. Called prior to going and asked what time check in was until and was told until 10 pm. Called at 9 to let them know we were on our way and was called 2 minutes after asking us to rush over. Check in was easy but no one was there at 11 when we checked out. I tried calling multiple times and nobody answered. i then took a picture of my watch and the keys on the counter. would go again if i needed a cheap stay.

We've stayed here a number of times. The location is very convenient for RI beaches sand Mystic. The new owners have redone most of the rooms. The place is very clean, the air conditioning works, the beds are comfortable, and the staff is very kind. It is not luxurious, but it suits our needs very well. Our room did not smell of smoke, as another reviewer reported. That reviewer could have just requested a different room instead of going ballistic. Overall, it's a quiet, clean, safe, convenient place to stay.

The bed was ok. That’s all the good about the room itself. The room said it was non smoking. But when we went into the room, after i fought with the door to open it, it smelled real bad like cigarettes. I went to complain to the front desk (staff was friendly)about the smell and a gentleman came to the room and use an aerosol spray to lessen the smell. Which it did, until we came back from dinner and the smell returned.
The room itself is small, which isn’t a big problem, but the bathroom was also small. You couldn't use the toilet without being in contact with the wall. It’s too close to the wall. The shower is just big enough for one. There is a small refrigerator and a microwave. There is no coffee maker. The stairs are steep and the railing to hold onto was loose.
The room was cheap. But I think I overpaid for the room I got.

Room needs attractive.Curtains , which also function to block light during sleeping hours.
Bathroom needs to be improved.The lighting needs to be lowered and the fan needs to be less noisy and uncoupled from the light switch.

I was nervous about this place but I booked based on the reviews and I was super impressed. It’s older but our unit had been renovated. Our room was a two story with two bathrooms which is awesome when you are traveling with 3 teenaged girls. The beds were comfortable and the place was nice and quiet.

The room was fine as a place to crash for a night. Its defintely a no frills room with a sofa i dont think I would have sat on and a bed that questionably clean. The bathroom smelled like mildew. I tried to contact the property prior to arrival and could not get in touch with anyone.

This was a bad experience. The building was grimy, had a hot water issue with the shower, could not communicate with one of the desk attendants did not speak English, overall bad experience I won't be back. They actually have the seats from a pick up truck in the gazebo for seating 😁

2nd time staying here as a quick overnighter. Yes, the rooms have been updated, however not all of them are complete. We had 2 rooms. 1 was finished but the other still had pipes sticking out of the wall where the mini kitchenette looked like it would be compared to the other room. If we had children, that would not have been safe. The shower was very small and also not clean, someone else's hair was all over the wall prior to getting in.

The vent in the bathroom smelled like marijuana everytime it turned on. I unplugged my charger from the outlet and sparkles went flying and all the power went out.
