It is an outdated hotel but the staff was very friendly and helpful. Comfortable place to stay for last minute booking. Close to gas stations and stores. Close to surrounding areas.

We stayed for 2 nights. We expected that our room would have been cleaned and restocked after the first night but apparently that is not how they do business. Not a big deal. Went to the front desk and picked up fresh towels. Very cordial upon arrival and allowed us to check in early, we appreciated that. We have been having great weather for this time of year but the outdoor pool had already been shut down and covered for the season. Affordable yet decent place to stay with a big area along the lakeshore with ample seating to relax and enjoy the views. Convenient location with ample parking, easy to find. Comfortable room. Awoke to an odd sound during the night. Discovered the minifridge door open and a frozen can of seltzer had burst! Our room had a broken window and there was not a screen in it. It would have been nice to have a screen so that the window could have been open at night to enjoy the breeze and the sound of the waves. The breakfast offerings are ample but during our stay they were out of orange juice. The room seemed to have been freshly painted a nice color.

The staff was very nice. This is just a very old hotel and they are doing the best they can. Beautiful view! FYI they use a lot of room fresher though and I could barely stand it the first day!!

We had a nice stay. Couldn’t beat the price and was super happy to see there was a waffle maker for breakfast!!! The chairs on the patio over looking the water were filthy but nice to have. Time to do something with the carpets in the hallway.

It was a terrible experience, we were supposed to get a lake veiw but we got a balcony instead. We were told it would cost us another $390. to get this room. The room we got had a terrible wet dog smell. We are handicapped and had to walk up to the 2nd floor, they did not have an elevator. The continental breakfast had no protein, it was all carbs.

The property is nice, small things needed updating, but for an overnight place to crash by the lakeshore, it was great. I had a balcony with a table and chair, and the lakeshore was just steps away with a nice pool. Will stay there again on my next short trip out that way.

Our room was very old and dated. Very difficult to close the door. The pillows were very small and soft. With that said they took excellent care of the outside of the hotel. Several people keeping the grounds, clean and tidy. The views from the back or amazing! Service at the front desk was excellent!

Our stay was great! From the time we got here until we left the hospitality was amazing! Our room was clean and big! (Plenty of room to move around!) Beautiful view of Lake Erie and the pool was nice! Over all when we are in the area we will be back!

We loved been right on the lake. I wish their chairs were in better condition, but the lake was right there. Breakfast was a little sparse with just apples for fruit and just white bread for toast

The staff is great! No problems check in. Some of the things are a little outdated or showing everyday wear and tear but overall, for a quick getaway it was great. The view in the back is very relaxing.

The common areas are dirty and dated. There are 2 floors but no elevator to bring in the luggage. The towels are so thin I might as well have used paper towels. The hot water was nearly impossible to get. The water handle only gave warm water in one spot and it gave cold spurts. The bedding was very thin and worn also. The complimentary breakfast was very sparse. The hallway noise sounded like it was in our room. This Inn is extremely overpriced! I do not recommend.

Nice outdoor area and view although our room faced directly into an outdoor air conditioner. Room smelled sour. Check in clerk was great. Don’t stay for the breakfast. The morning staff weren’t friendly and not interested in any customer service. If you need a reasonable place to sleep and expectations are lower, it’s fine.

My room was very clean with extra towels & pillows. The staff were friendly and helpful. Great location and waterfront to the lake with a big sitting area to watch the sunset. That is next to the pool. Continental breakfast is basic, cereal, bagels, waffle maker, coffee & juice machine, apples & bananas. Area very clean. They are re-vamping the place so old reviews don’t apply. They do not allow pets. The parking lot needs some work but for the location & price its great. I will stay here again.

I have stayed there many times. This last time I stayed has had a lot of improvements on its curb appeal and overall cleanliness. But our room smelled a little musty and the trim work was poorly installed. We had bare wires hanging from the ceiling. But it was a place to stay and sitting out by the water was amazing!

The establishment offers excellent value for money, and the staff is exceptionally helpful and accommodating. During my four-day, three-night stay, I was consistently impressed by the staff's willingness to assist with any request. Compared to other inns in the area, the prices here are unbeatable, especially considering the quality of the accommodations. The parking lot is spacious, and the rooms feature balconies. It is evident that the management team cares deeply about their customers and the property. However, I must mention that the room I reserved was located near the steps and office, which resulted in some noise from footsteps and doors closing. This minor inconvenience was easily remedied by playing music, turning on the TV, or spending time with my companions. The location of the inn is convenient, with an ice cream shop just outside, a Domino's Pizza across the street, and a bar nearby. The pool is well-maintained and offers stunning views of the lake, complemented by an ample supply of lounge chairs. The breakfast provided was also quite enjoyable. Furthermore, the inn's proximity to the ferry terminal makes it an ideal base for those planning a trip to Put-In-Bay. Overall, I highly recommend this establishment and will certainly consider staying here again if I find myself in the area in the future.

I highly do NOT recommend. Old place, not well maintained. Our room had no hot water in the shower and the overhead lights in the bathroom didn’t work. I requested they be fixed but they were not. I was not asked about my stay or if the issues had been corrected. I will say the view from the back of the property is beautiful but it doesn’t make up for the rest of the problems. There are many other opportunities for lodging in the area. Please consider any place but this one.

Our room was very small. There were stains on the carpet and we had no shower curtain in the bathroom! The hotel was just a bit rundown and needs updating badly. The room was overall clean-just a lot of money for this hotel that really was not up to par.
