Room not what we expected at all.Very small. Barely room for the bed. View of Quebec City was a big white wall 5 Ft from our window. 1 person at front desk who said " Oh I will have to get back to you on everything we asked. They had a beatiful Bar, that they decided they would close it for the winter.

Hotel Sainte-Anne in Quebec City deserves every one of its five stars! From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a cozy Hallmark movie set, complete with warm hospitality and a quaint, picturesque setting. The front desk staff were absolutely phenomenal—welcoming, cheerful, and genuinely invested in making our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, whether it was assistance with directions, personalized recommendations, or even just friendly conversation that made us feel right at home.
The charm of the hotel itself is undeniable. Nestled in the heart of Old Quebec, the location couldn’t be more perfect. Cobblestone streets, historic architecture, and a magical ambiance surrounded us at every turn. Our room was impeccably clean, tastefully decorated, and thoughtfully arranged with every comfort in mind. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless and modern—a perfect blend of the historic charm and contemporary conveniences.
Although the hotel’s restaurant was closed during our visit, the staff didn’t let that inconvenience spoil our experience. Instead, they provided us with a coupon for a discount at a nearby restaurant, which turned out to be an excellent recommendation. It was a lovely gesture that demonstrated their commitment to making our stay flawless.
Overall, our time at Hotel Sainte-Anne was nothing short of magical.

It was good, but wish the hotel allowed early arrivals in earlier and had later check-out, AND open up that nice looking bar/restaurant on premise. It's an intimate spot, and I would have loved to have a drink in there.
2.5
Nice hotel, right in the old town and close to most things in the city. Could happily stay again if I get back to Quebec city sometime.

Night attendant was not very informative. He had an issue with the language (English). We arrived at 9:30 pm and the restaurant was closed. Incorrectly we were told there would be no places open around us, I found several within a15 minute walk) . There was another issue with a later check out 12 instead of 11 am. The carpet is old and dirty (carpet tiles). the entry way to the shower will not allow for anyone over 200 pounds. No space to hang or put your clothes while in the bathroom. I would not stay here again if traveling to Quebec

Amazing gem of a property. The hotel is on an old charming pedestrian street and close to everything in Old Quebec. The room was perfectly laid out and our view of the Chateau Frontenac was just perfect. Loved this spot.

The location could not be beat! Room was clean and spacious. Should be noted before reserving that there isn't anyone at the front desk from 11pm-7am,,,found out at check in when they gave me a code for the front door. Also, they do not leave you any water, nor do they let you know where you can buy some for your stay. TV only worked if pointed at box on top of high closet out of sight. Phone did not work

The area was perfect to be in and see everything. I would book there again.

Great location at reasonable price. Amazing restaurant downstairs and great breakfast recommendations within a block for wonderful breakfast too! Reception staff was friendly and efficient. We checked in early and when we returned after site seeing all day, our luggage was in our room. Very much appreciated! Exceptional standard of service and added so much to the end of our vacation. Thank you to all!

Hotel fine but reception area very busy too many cases. When came to check out at reception all ok asked if we coul wait outside for just under an hour with our luggage and bar start/ waiters very rude to guests stating 10 minutes only and kept checking up on us both - not a good look for a hotel trying to do its best!

The staff was very kind and helpful.

Hôtel was amazing , love the historic vibe . Would have loved if restaurant next store offered breakfast ? ( I heard it may have been considered but there’s staffing concerns) one thing not in hotels control but a bit of a pain with a disabled wife . No parking in front of hotel , had to park on the nearby street , unload everything into lobby , check in, then transport my wife from car to hotel . Then park the car at a nearby parking location . I knew about this at booking but didn’t realize what a pain it was until arriving , my bad on this one , but thought readers of this review should know . Use an app called “ click park” there’s a parking lot 50 yards away .

The rooms are spacious and decent . However the LOCATION is Amazing. We love to go for morning walk about, after lunch, take a afternoon siesta, then stroll back in evening to late night. This hotels location helps us do that, and without pulling the car in and out of garage. Use ClicknSave app to reserve parking in Church within 1 min walk.

My husband and I were visiting Quebec City for the first time, and found this very centrally located property in the old city to be comfortable and very convenient. Although our 3rd floor room looked out onto a busy pedestrian-only street, we had no difficulties with noise at night or in the mornings. Note that parking is offsite (the hotel recommends parking in the town hall a 4-5 minute walk away), and you can’t pull up directly in front of the hotel to load or unload, so pack accordingly. Our room was fairly small, but quite stylish and comfortable. We found the shower well-designed and spacious, although the sink was surprisingly small.

We loved that the hotel is in a historic building and so close to the Chateau Frontenac, the promenade, and is part of the historic Ville de Quebec.

The location of this property was perfect for our needs, proximity to restaurants, tourist sites and center of activity.

Hotel was perfectly located. Easy access to dining. Great staff.

If you like sleeping in a renovated attic, where you cannot walk around the full size bed without hitting your head on the rafters, this is okay. The shower was quite large and nice, but the rest of the bathroom was very small and dark, with limited lighting except above the small basin and toilet. The fixed cabinetry is in need of refinishing. The mattress was comfortable, but the bed linens and towels were either old and/or of inferior quality. The entry into the hotel lobby was usually crowded with restaurant staff and diners waiting for tables. A disappointing accommodation for the price. On a positive note, the reception staff were always friendly and accommodating.

Helpful staff! Clean! Comfortable beds! Great shower. The hotel is close to everything within Old Quebec City. We loved everything about our stay. Ate at the restaurant and the food was very good. Highly recommend.

The ONLY negative aspect was that there was no parkinking. The rest was great. Because I was very fimilar with Quebec City, it was no big deal but if it was ones first time there it might be a wee bit inconvenient. The meal I had downstairs was extremely enjoyable. I would stay there again. Front desk staff both check in and check out was GREAT.
