Stayed 2 nights on bike trip (2nd was a rain day). Very bike friendly area. Adjoins a small natural preserve. Staff were very accommodating. Great breakfast.

I booked an executive king bed room. I was an hour early to check in and it wasn’t ready, I shared that I wouldn’t be back until 10pm and could I get the details done now (card, etc) and I couldn’t. When I came back at 10, I was checked in and went to my room (226) and there was carpenter materials all over the hallway and the 2 rooms next to mine were open. Having the rooms opened with all the material in hallway felt awkward and intimidating, especially as a solo traveler. The next morning, the workers showed up, with their music to begin on the rooms, assuringly continuing from the day before. I shared with the front desk, who said, oh, I’m sorry. It was very uncomfortable, dirty, messy and felt awkward to have rooms next to you open and in disarray. I wish they had shared with me before sending me to the room or if available, offer me a different room. I’ve stayed here prior without any issue, but this was very uncomfortable with no concern by the front.

I wish they would have advertised that the pool was be remodeled. And the entire hotel in fact. The lady that handles the breakfast was not friendly at all

Our 3 day stay was very good. The bed was very comfortable and everything was very clean. Quiet place. The heating/cooling unit was very loud and made it impossible for me to sleep. We just shut it off. The hotel is isolated with a lot of open land surrounding it. The front desk staff were very friendly. I reported an electrical outlet that didn’t work and the staff wrote that down. There was always lemon or cucumber water and apples in the lobby. We didn’t take advantage of the complimentary breakfast. I really liked the hotel but won’t return due to the noisy heating/cooling unit.

The hotel was under construction; we were placed in a handicapped room, which didn’t bother me but the bathroom floor looked like it was just put in and not all the way done. There was tape holding carpet molding together, and it just didn’t look great. There was no mention of the pool being closed when we checked in either.

The hotel looked old, especially the bathroom tile and fixtures. There were also unpleasant odors in the room and hallway. Although a pool is advertised, it was under construction and this also caused an unpleasant scent of chemical sealants.

Hotel is very nice. Staff is friendly, hotel is clean quiet and convenient. Excellent mattress. Good breakfast. I would stay there again.

When i booked my room i was unaware the hotels pool was under construction. Then when i checked in I again was not told the pool was under construction. So when i went to check out the pool I was not happy to see it not working. When i went to address this with management they said it was posted on the website. Well not everyone books thru the website like me so i had no idea. I explained that and wanted my money back. He then told me they had a contracted with anytime fitness pool across town. I said that is not convient as it is winter. I am not happy with this holiday inn which is privately owned and will never be returning.

Friendly staff and great location for what we needed. Some rooms are being remodeled and the rest definitely need it. Our first room had a broken toilet so we were moved to a different room. Second room had broken floor tiles in the bathroom that moved when you stepped on them! Both rooms were clean and comfortable. Also, it appeared the pool was down for remodeling or maintenance. We hadn't planned to use it but something to note if you are wanting to use the pool.

The Holiday Inn Express in Chanhassen was excellent! Bed was super comfy and the room was spotless! The breakfast was plentiful, fresh and lots from which to choose! We will stay there whenever we visit the Twin Cities! Definitely a great value!

The staff was less than enthusiastic about checking in and helping me. The room was normal but the toilet was difficult to flush.
The owner must be a cheap skate because the number of channels on the TV was similar to having rabbit ears on a house.
Breakfast has good options but is crammed into one wall and everyone is waiting on the person in front of them. They should spread it out to the wall by the windows to spread people out.
Parking lot is weird. They have parking on sides instead of upfront.
I love holiday inns but this one isn’t great especially for the price.

Nothing special, very basic. The shower head would not stay in a usable position without being held. There’s an inroom coffee machine but you have to buy water to use it. Staff was nice and bed was clean and comfortable. Ok stay after a night at the Chanhassen Dinner Theatre.

I have stayed there multiple times in the past 10 years, which I really enjoyed, and was disappointed to see there was no longer a slide. The pool area needs improvements and the walls in the hotel room were cracking.

Room was quiet. Parking was a little inconvenient due to door locks in the process of being changed.

Front desk check-in was friendly and fast. Staff was very friendly and answered all my questions. I reserved an executive queen suite and it was roomy, clean and met all my expectations. The area was close to restaurants, entertainment and felt very safe. Would definitely stay here again.

Desk staff could not tell me how to reach front desk via desk phone in room I wanted to contact desk with an internet question (could not connect). Had to physically go to front desk. Staff told me he did not know how a guest reached front desk via room phone. Staff contact would not give me his name, very unfriendly even though he did get me connected to the internet.

Everything was great from the staff to our room to the breakfast area. The one area of improvement would be the pool. The hot tub had a mildew around the rim of the seating area and smelled musty. I’m not sure if the pool is supposed to be heated or not but the water was too cold to swim in. Other than that, everything was great.

Booked the room to make a fun night so the kids could use the pool & we could enjoy the hot tub. Hot tub was broke, pool was freezing & the whole pool area was dingy. Needs work. The only reason overall rating was 3 stars is the staff was nice and room was pretty clean. Beds and were too soft/uncomfortable. They also have arrangements with Lifetime Fitness to free access to anything indoors, which had a gravity pool & waterslide.....the only thing that made our night.

I’ve stayed here 6 years ago and it was a good experience. My recent one-night stay was also good. The hotel is a little worn (bathroom grout, loose stitching on furniture, scuffs on walls), but they continue to keep it clean.

The hotel was overall nice, however, it had a really bad smell on the 2nd floor. The smell was throughout the second floor. Not sure what it was but it was not pleasant.
Otherwise, the room was clean, bed was comfortable, and the staff was friendly.

When we got to room 314 we found the floor wet and the room stunk. When I tried to turn on the t.v. it wouldn't turn on. We were not impressed with the condition of the room.

The building and rooms were very worn; stains on carpet, peeling wall paper, dirty grout in bathroom, and sub par and noisy air conditioning. In addition there were rodent stations throughout building that were visible to guests- my room actually had an operating sonic rodent deterrent in the room, not very comforting! This property is in need of major remodel or downgrade to a lower quality hotel. Would not recommend…

I waited at the front desk for 20 minutes before being helped. No bell to ring to get service. A gentleman poked his head out after yelling 3 times for someone and said she’ll be back after awhile and went back to the office. No I’m sorry for the inconvenience, how can I make this right, nothing. She asked how long I waited and then laughed it off.
