This property is very run down. The bathroom door actually hit the toilet bc the toilet was too elongated, and it’s been taking the paint off the door!
Everything needs to be updated- flooring, furniture, security lock ( ours was abused and coming loose from the doorjamb, so no extra security there), bathroom fixtures, ( sink not draining and stained) advertised breakfast is cold grab n go, and, coming back in from dinner, some guy was taking a whizz in the driveway. Really nice.
Go somewhere else.

Worst hotel stay in a year. Water pressure drops to a dribble when turned up to hot (it turns out you can turn it toward cold and re-approach hot from below while keeping better pressure, but i hadn't figured this out yet during my first barely-a-tricklle shower). The outlet next to the bed turns off when the overhead light is switched off -- so you cannot use the bedside lamp or charge your phone with the light off (what is the point of a bedside lamp then?). The pillows are hard, though the mattress itself was fine. They gave us only one thin blanket even though it's December and 30 degrees outside. We didn't realize it until we were already climbing into bed. When we called to ask for more, no one could bring it to us because they do not have sufficient staff. We had to put on a coat over our pajamas and go outside to the lobby to get it. The room does not get dark because the exterior lights stay on and there is no blackout curtain. And the train passes very close-by and is very loud, making it difficult to sleep. Although there is a pretty view of the Hudson River from most points on the property, this was overall my worst 2-star hotel experience in a long time.

Price was good for the time of year (Thanksgiving weekend) and would have been better if we had booked directly. Room was good size but lack of a blackout shade or curtains left the room less than dark due to light from the parking. Bathroom pretty small. Heating system pretty old.

Aweful room conditions, sketchy front desk and bag breakfast with tons of carbs and sugar. The glass on either side of the door allows people to see in some. More than just a shadow and same goes in the bathroom. Floor is old and worn. The furniture was cheap and in poor condition.

I made a terrible mistake to make a reservation here with my family after a beautiful day in the Hudson Valley on a Saturday night. On entering the lobby, there were already pretty discouraging that two girls who look like prostitutes were sitting. Anyway we went on with checking in, the rooms were definitely overpriced, compared to what you get in other places, but overall were clean. However when my wife went back to the lobby, it was closed, and the girls told my wife that it is closed because the only person on premises had to go to one of the rooms because "police was called, as they found something in the room". This was around 6 pm. That was it, we decided to leave immediately, and drove home that night.

The condition of the room and bathroom was appalling for the pri e if this inn.One bed was so bad we couldnt use it. The towels in the bathroom were tiny. The "breakfast" ws a brown lunch bag with a prepackaged store bought muffin , a poptart ,a store prepackaged waffle and a 1/2 bottle of water. The blinds on the door were broken and the whole place outside was lit up so the room did not get dark for sleeping.
The view was beautiful but it was not a comfortable stay.

The beds themselves were so loud when just rolling over. The train tracks are nearby and all we heard was the train whistle the entire night. The A/C sounded like it was a jet engine spooling up for take off. We did not get any sleep at all. The tenants above had lead feet and were walking all night back and forth. Additionally, you could hear almost every conversation just outside of our door in the parking lot.

The view spectacular, the room however definitely needs to be upgraded.

Not many options in Peekskill, so you pretty much get what you pay for. Doesn’t seem like they’re doing much to maintain the place over the years (we last stayed in 2016), so little touch ups could go a long way. Walls are thin too, so you can hear kids, conversations, etc.

Location and view is Gold. But if you’re looking for peace and quiet then this property is not ideal as the constant traffic noise from the nearby Croton Expressway is loud and startling at times. The train station nearby maybe a great connection advantage but the hourly blaring train horn will not make for a peaceful getaway. It is an industrial town with maintenance and construction activity in full swing - reflecting a growing economy but again it is not a peaceful writers retreat.
The Inn needs new beds and mattresses as they’re creaking and even broken in some parts.

We needed a hotel to attend a funeral
It served the purpose
The front desk people were great
The place is old
The AC unit made a gallon of noise
You heard the train whistle
Included breakfast was grab and go paper bag

The refrigerator in the room was leaking. The AC is very noisy.

Very friendly town, beautiful hotel and even more beautiful view. If you go you must try Peekskill Coffee, it's about a 10 minute walk from the hotel

Horrible! Dirty! The pictures seems better than in person! It’s like a dirty motel! Shower head had Black gunk on it. Clothing rack and painting was not hanging straight. Room overal was just outdated and dirty! Pool is closed because they told me they don’t want to pay for a lifeguard! Only good thing is Location is convenient and view is nice. I would not come back here! Don’t expect a nice romantic night here! This is only good for a quick stay if you don’t want to spend too much! I should’ve read the reviews before. Free breakfast in brown paper bag were just all sweet cookies. Don’t expect a hot bacon egg sandwich!

The hotel rooms could really use updating or renovations. The overall stay was adequate for our needs. Dont expect too much & your stay will be pleasant.

My room smelled like old cigarette smoke and strong room scent to cover it. Chain on the door was missing, bolt in door did not seem sturdy. Outside trash receptacles were overflowing with room trash. Front desk was very nice. Ended up turning in room key and staying elsewhere.

PROS:
Location: it is by metro north so travelers can take the train four stops to Grand Central Terminal. It is also located by 9 A which connects to roads that take you to NYC. It is in Peekskill and on the waterfront, which is beautiful. Peekskill has a nice downtown area, grocery stores, movie theater, and a waterfront park.
Staff: all the staff that I encountered were nice.
Coffee: was very tasty and free.
Breakfast: they have a grab and go from 6 am to 10 am. In the bag is a small water, waffle, pop tart, and muffin. Not the most nutritious items, but it can tide you over until your next meal.
Our view: we had a beautiful view of the Hudson River.
The housekeeper was pleasant and did a decent job cleaning the room.
We had a refrigerator and a microwave, and both worked.
CONS:
Our room was in serious need of a paint job. The doors (to the room and to the balcony) were dirty. The door to the bathroom had a dent in it.
The AC worked fine, but there was a slight smell to the room from it. The towels are very thin, and you only receive two shower towels. The bathroom was small, but water flow from the shower was ok. The sink drained the water slowly. There was a loud fight from 2 am to 4:30 am during one of our nights. We think people are living at the inn. There was yelling, doors slamming, and stomping. It was very annoying. We did not notify the staff because we were concerned about retaliation.

I liked the balcony it was very large compared to most. Beautiful view. However,we had tiny ants in the bathroom and i called front desk to get spray. Called back an hour later was told they didnt have any. I said well go get some or call housekeeping for a cleaner. After another hour he brought ant traos. Wpool wasnt open..it was 86.

The location of the inn is very good however, this establishment has to renovated. The mini fridge does not cool properly. The bed was super uncomfortable. There is only satellite dish available to watch tv and, it did not work properly when raining.
The furniture is old and had holes! The proximity to the train station made it hard to fall asleep due to the noise.
The pool was not working even when it was posted as a service offered. With respect to our breakfast, we could not have it seated as the common area was closed. We had to pick out our to-go breakfast at the lobby in a brown bag. Odd!
The rate is highly overpriced for what they truly offered the customers.

It has a awesome view, peaceful, and peaceful

The room was dingy. There was a print hanging over one bed with the frame broken and hanging down. The sink didn't work properly and the beds were damp! When we complained they said they would not cancel our reservation because we had stayed more than 5 minuets. Eventually they refunded 2 of the 3 nights. I've neve done this before
