Hotel Is in very bad condition. Damaged rooms, water leakage, loud noise, Mold in carpet. What not! It’s a nightmare. We were offered another rooms when complained, but they are not better as well.

This property was unacceptable. I have been waiting since Monday for a response regarding this dirty, dark, problematic property. The staff told us 1/2 out of air-conditioning systems worked in our 2-bedroom apartment, when in reality, the A/C didn't work in the entire building. Then, another employee said, actually no A/C at all. Ceiling tiles falling out, non-functioning shower fixture. I will never use Expediat again until this situation is rectified and I am refunded for both rooms.

The worst hotel we have ever been to. Before our trip, we emailed the reception twice but they never responded. The parking behind the hotel is shady and so narrow that it is very hard to navigate with a medium size car (and I it does not seem like a large car would even fit). The reception area looks nice, but our actual floor was just disgusting. Torn and ratty carpets, water dripping from the ceiling in multiple places, everything stained and attrited. The rooms were battered and time-worn beyond anything we have every seen in any other hotel. The pictures on the website must be from decades ago, they do not reflect the actual state of our floor and our room at all. We felt disgusted and we can only recommend you to stay away from this place.

This is a really dirty and very poorly maintained hotel. Worst hotel I ever seen in my life. The lobby and the restaurant look nice, front desk agents are really kind and helpful but when you walk upstairs to reach your room, there are molds everywhere ( on the ceilings, in the hallways, in the bath…), ceiling is about to fall, the rug is really dirty and broken in several places in the hallways. I visited two other rooms to try to find something better but they were all the same… There is dust and molds everywhere in this hotel. During our stay, we heard so many clients complaining about the housekeeping and the poor condition of their room… most were reporting unclean rooms and housekeeping not done before their arrival. This hotel should definitely close to be renovated

loved the property and the fact that the room had 5 beds. Loft was nice. The only draw back was the lack of Air Conditioning. The loft was extremely hot and it was only a sunny day in Feb!

The check in was easy, even in the middle of the night. The apartment was large enough for my 6 person family. The only thing I wish worked better was the A/C, however I do realize that in France it’s not too common for a hotel to have great A/C. Over all the stay was great and the breakfast was good before another leg of our journey

Would like to stay again. 10 minutes walking with luggage from SNCF station. 1-night stay. Arrived hotel late about 9pm. Need to enter hotel via stairs. There is one lift besides stairs which easier to lobby. Floor corridor carpet, rooms décor, lighting and painting need maintenance and repair. Checked 3 rooms before we decided which one to stay. Thanks to friendly staff, we were glad that we got room we wanted. Free wifi and 2 bottle water. Kitchen cookware and pot need improvement. Asked for changing cooking pot, but provided at next day 1-hour before check out. So, without cooking during stay and left some vegetable in fridge.

At check in we were assigned a room that someone else was occupying. They moved us to another room, and a few minutes later, someone else tried to check in to our room. The air conditioning did not work very well, and our room faced the west with wonderful black out curtains, but we had to sleep with the window open to find relief. The street was very noisy which made for long nights.

We had two separate stays at this location within a week. (We were in town for the women’s World Cup & stayed for 2 nights during the semi final matches and then came back and stayed 2 nights for the final)The first stay was not satisfactory at all. There was no air conditioning in our room—even though the hotel stated they had air—and during a heat wave in Europe this was crushing. The hallway to our room was in disarray. Ceiling was open with dripping pipes and the carpet was atrocious. I wish I could include pictures. If anyone is going to stay here I’d request a room on a higher floor. The front desk associate Emilie was very nice & allowed me into 2 other rooms to see if the air conditioning was better but to no avail. We just toughed it out. The A.C. did not work and our room was not cleaned as planned. But the bed was very comfortable and we took advantage of the fridge and kitchenette. We loved that the buses and trains were easily accessible. The staff were very friendly.

However, this was offset by the standard of the room and access hallways.Room (advertised for up to 4) was too small for 3 persons.Main bed in airless, windowless cupboard. No room to move around with bed-settee opened. Inadequate storage for luggage and clothing. Decor was scruffy. Paintwork stained and scratched. Air-con was inadequate and bathroom/kitchen ventilators did not work. Had to request a supplementary fan. Kitchen short of crockery and utensils. Shower leaked onto floor. Bathroom always damp, mould around bath, side-panel and adjacent floor covering were rotting.Toilet seat loose. Hallway carpets dirty.Bar/ restaurant seemed reasonable, but the only night we needed to use it (Sunday) it was closed!! Poor value for 1000euro/week.

Very ordinary. It was suppose to have a kitchen but lacked the refrigerator promised. The daily maid service was terrible and spotty. Temperature control was not working because they hadn’t turned on the air conditioning. The restaurant was overpriced.

We unfortunately arrived 6 hours late, at around 9 p.m. due to our bus being involved in a minor accident in Italy. So our tempers were frayed and we were exhausted.
The hotel was conveniently located near the bus and train terminals, easy to walk.
Check in was still open!
A lift, thank goodness, as we had heavy bags.
Our room was spacious, being split level with three sleeping areas for the five of us. Lovely large windows. Bathroom clean and modern.
We had our own kitchenette, which would have been a great bonus had we been staying longer.
I look forward to staying there again for a week or more to explore the lovely city of Lyon.
