The place was clean. Had an indoor pool and a gym. You could see the river from the backside of the hotel. Beds were comfy and clean.

The reviews for this hotel were great and I loved the idea of a cozy fireplace in our room for our fall break trip. I booked a king suite with a fireplace and a balcony. It ran about $250 a night. We arrived and were quickly given room keys. We walked into a two queen room, no fireplace, no balcony. We returned to the front desk. The desk agent said they oversold the rooms. They didn’t have our room type available. This was at 4pm, just one hour after check in was open. We were then moved to a king room, not a suite, and no fireplace. They also gave us a couple of free passes to the breakfast buffet. Well ok, not the best start but free food is good. They offered a discount until they saw we were booked through a third party and then said there was nothing they could do. We went to explore the area for a few hours then returned to the parking garage where people were drinking and smoking pot in their truck beds. We settled into bed and turned on the tv. The tv didn’t work. It turned on but it wouldn’t connect to the server. I decided to read instead but the light by the bed didn’t work. So I decided to make a drink and relax. I went to the hallway to get ice and the hallway smelled like marijuana. We got our stuff and checked out. We were booked for two nights which were nonrefundable. It doesn’t really matter how we feel about the property. What matters is if you would want this experience.

My stay was disappointingly average. I had specifically requested a particular view, but was given the opposite. After receiving the welcome message, I asked for more pillows as they were extremely flat, yet received no reply. Charging $15 for a continental breakfast buffet seems unreasonable, especially considering the subpar quality - my eggs contained a piece of foil and the orange juice tasted like straight concentrate. On the other hand, my room was pleasantly spacious and the housekeeping staff did an excellent job. Unfortunately, I experienced difficulties contacting the front desk, as my two phone calls from the room went unanswered, stuck in a loop connecting to the operator.

The hotel was very convenient to all dining options and shopping. Our TV did not work for the 3 days we were there. Call about it to the front desk they said that they would put a work order in. Never heard or seen from them. The AC froze up and the room was hot.

This property was central and walkable to many of the activities we wanted to take in. We chose a suite because it provided a sleeper sofa and we needed the extra space. However, we should have saved the extra $$ because it was like sleeping directly on mattress springs. The staff were all friendly and accommodating and made us feel welcome. The only other negative experience about the hotel was the fact that the room never cooled down and was uncomfortably hot. But kudos on great customer service and a wonderful location!

Everything was great except our balcony door did not open and the sofa bed did not have any blankets or sheets so it took several minutes of waiting on hold to get a hold of someone to bring them up. In the other room (we had two) the Keurig did not work. It is minutes within the trolley stop to the Island which was awesome. Overall it is a nice hotel.

We drove a long way and on line it said check in was at 3. When we arrived we were told our room was still dirty and we would have to wait. It was over an hour before we could check in and staff was not empathetic

We chose this hotel because the room configuration worked for our family. We had two adults and three 17 year olds. The layout provided adequate separation and sleeping accommodations for everyone. The room was clean (other than takeout leftovers in the refrigerator from the previous guests). Unfortunately, the pull-out bed was not made and there was no bedding available in the room for it. We called the front desk to let them know and, eventually, bedding was delivered (minus pillows which we had to ask for specifically). We made the bed ourselves. I felt that task was the responsibility of the housekeeping staff yet there was no apology for the oversight. It was clear that we would need that bed since we had 5 people in the room. The room could have had more garbage receptacles. There were two very small garbage cans which were filled very quickly even though we were only there one night. It was nice to have a balcony, but there was quite a a bit of loud traffic noise. That can't exactly be avoided due to the location. It would have been great to have a complimentary breakfast, but it was over $12 per person to have breakfast. Staff was not rude, but they were not pleasant and welcoming either. The pool was nice, but quite small. The spa pool looked very inviting, but was out of order during our stay. Again, this hotel was clean and adequate for our overnight stay. I would not choose to stay there again due to the (relatively minor) issues we experienced.

There was mold in the bathroom sink, a stain on our blanket, and the room didn't cool like it should have. The smell of the pool was so strong of chlorine and very cloudy and the hot tub was out of order. The free water tasted and smelt like chlorine.

When we arrived and checked we was given a room that had not been cleaned. When back to front and clerk apologies and told us she was putting us in another room, but it wouldn't be cleaned for another 30 minutes. Got back from eating dinner and got another room. Once in the room the TV remote wouldn't work with TV. Told front desk and they advised they would put in a work ticket for it. So went to bed early. Got up next morning to take a shower and only had six face towels, no bath towels, one clean wash cloth and one dirty wash cloth. I am pretty big guy so it took a while to dry with face towels. At around 7pm that evening a guy brought a new remote. I have stayed at this hotel on several occasions with good results, but after this I will not be staying at this hotel

I booked this hotel bc on hotel.com they advertised a picture of an outdoor pool. I booked the rate and realized after booking they only had a small indoor pool. I was really disappointed but I couldn’t find a way to change the booking without getting a fee. When we got to the hotel we found out the pool was closed and the hot tub was not even working .. false advertisement
