It was a lovely room nice and cozy, very clean and inviting. Some awesome cookies awaited us and it was nicely appointed. Very close walking distance for all the action S lake Tahoe has to offer.

Great stay for the price. Room was cozy and warmed up when we arrived with the fireplace. Bed was super comfy. Great location!! We could hear our neighbors but they weren't too loud. You can also hear a lot of car door slamming open and closing from the parking lot but thats expected in these types of motels. Bring ear plugs just in case. otherwise would stay hear again.

The room was clean, and nice. The cookies were a great touch. The only issue was that the door was not sealed properly and the heater did not work. We froze all night. When we woke up the room was 30 degrees. Way too cold.

Just a weekend getaway. Our room was very clean and the king bed was so comfy! We stayed here cause it was close to Harvey’s where we had dinner at
Hell’s Kitchen. In the morning I went to the community room and used the Kuric to make two great cups of coffee. All in all a great stay! Much thanks!!

The room was super clean. The room was pretty sound proof which is a plus when people are having a good time down stairs. I would definitely stay here again. Not far from downtown. Easy 15 minute walk to downtown.

Was perfect away from life routine we love it just the fact everything it closer walk distance from casinos food and lake that make my wife happy and thats all matters to me

This is a very simple place. Newly renovated, clean, not fancy. Certainly worth the rate. Parking can be an expensive part of your stay in South Lake Tahoe so the included self parking is valuable especially since lots of restaurants and shopping are walkable.
2.5
We have stayed here several times. It is close to Harvey’s Amphitheater for concerts. It is close to restaurants, casinos, shopping, and in walking distance to the lake.
The hotel is clean, staff are friendly, and we had all the things we needed.
We will stay here again!

Great little spot. Room was very clean and cozy and great little gift baskets . Will definitely be coming back. Nice fire pit out front and easy walking distance to all the casinos.

Lovely place to stay. I can’t comment on the staff because check-in and out were all done online but that was a very easy & clear process. Great location within easy walking distance to attractions. Only criticism of the room was the smoke detector which flashes constantly and was right in my line of sight when I was trying to sleep. Other than that everything was great.

The location was close to the lake and heavenly valley. Great area for walking . Room was clean did not like when the lock on the door would not lock as I was leaving it took way to long for the manager to call back for help

Conveniently located near south lake tahoe’s main shopping area. On weekend nights there is a really loud outdoor music venue close by and you can hear loud singing and crowd screaming till late night.

Nice property for the money. Close to lake and main drag in South Lake Tahoe. Still quiet and comfortable.

Great location walking distance to the main road..Cozy perfect for small family..Definitely recommend..Nice outdoor at light with the firepit on..My kids definitely enjoy the gaming.

Close enough to the lively areas, but far enough to be quiet and peaceful at night. Great location.

Easy access to all good spots like casino, restaurants, bars and the lake is walkable. Complimentary snacks too is awesome! Will consider to try again. The only problem is the floor squeaks, that makes you wake up at night especially if your room is downstairs but other that that everything is a great experience.

Great Location & convenient to food & shopping. Some many unique & great perks about this place. A welcome basket of snacks was in the room for us, Beach passes which to our surprise we only had to pay $5 each instead of $25 each, coffee available 24/7 in the common area (as were additional snacks & soda), Bathroom was fantastic as it had a hand held shower (VERY NICE), room was clean & comfortable.
ONLY one negative (and hence a 4 out of 5 star rating) . .the floors were dirty. My white socks were dirty every day. I did contact the owner about the issue. And she was quick to answer and seemed genuinely concerned to hear of my room issues. We worked things out.
Hopefully on my next stay here, the floors will be clean and my rating will be 5 stars. Great Place.

Resthaven was in a wonderfully ideal location— close to all the action but tucked away so it was still nice and quiet! The nearest beach had an entry fee, but it was a quick drive to some other nearby beaches that had free access.
The staff was very helpful whenever I had to call for assistance. The amenities were also great— we really appreciated being greeted by snacks and drinks when we arrived.
We’ll definitely consider coming back to Resthaven on our next trip to South Lake Tahoe.

This hotel is in a great location in Tahoe and very reasonably priced. The property manager was very helpful and takes pride in the condition of the property. This hotel is contactless, so it requires some patience (and data service) to get checked-in and gain access to your room. The property manager can help if you have difficulty.

The property has the feel of a shared Airbnb. It's small and personal, with shared common areas like the kitchen and outdoor seating spaces.
The standard king room was small, but clean and comfortable, and worked fine for the purposes of our trip.
A special shout out to the property caretaker. He noticed when guests were accessing the outdoor spaces and would come to turn on the fountain in the daytime, or the fire pit in the evening, to make the space feel more inviting. The landscapes were also properly attended to.
Having a few small amenities like drinks and snacks to enjoy were a nice touch, and the voucher for the close private beach was also an unexpected bonus (it got us into the beach for $5 a person instead of $30/person).
We enjoyed our stay, and would stay here again.

We go down to Tahoe for vacation pretty often and love renting in this area because it’s so close to the downtown and eateries but this property was extremely underwhelming. The pictures advertised were really misleading showing us the bigger properties instead of the one we were renting and first thing we noticed was the really dirty floors. It didn’t look like it was swept up or mopped in a really long while. In only the first 10 minutes we were there, my socks and my partner’s feet were completely black and sticky. It was disappointing having to wash our feet and laying down towels constantly so we wouldn't stain the bed. Otherwise, the bed was extremely comfortable and the suite for snacks after hours was really convenient.

The best thing about this hotel is its location, as it's an easy walk to the beach, heavenly, and a bunch of shops and restaurants. However, the hotel itself is not great - the comforter was dirty and I didn't walk around without shoes on because the floors weren't clean. The bathroom was the in the worst shape - fixtures were hanging off the wall, the baseboard is all broken up. Additionally, I texted the "24/7" help number twice - once to inquire if I needed anything on my car for parking and the second to let them know that the air conditioner was broken and spitting water all over the floor. Got no response either time.

Very nice, clean and cozy room. Great location. Walking distance to shopping center, restaurants and casinos. Highly recommended!
1.5
Great location and easy to access. The room had a lot of bugs in it (I killed 4 and saw 3 others) and I ended up with multiple bug bites. The room was comfortable and well set up otherwise. The welcome basket (with some drinks and snacks) was a nice touch.

The manager on site very helpful with getting our keys to our room

Stayed here for 2 nights whilst we did a quick visit to Tahoe, the room itself was beautiful, minimalist but modern. It had air con and a heater for the winter visitors. The check in was virtual we were given a code to open the key code padlock to get into the room, there was a beautiful area I it side with bbqs and patio heaters. We didn’t get any room service in the 2 nights we stayed there which was no issue as it was only 2 nights. We were given a code to get into the coming room for spare drinks and morning coffee. The only ‘issue’ was our code didn’t work the morning we left. So we were unable to get our coffee at 9am before leaving. Another very small thing was the floor was filthy all the time, we make a habit of always taking shoes off at the door wherever we go, our feet were always black from the floor, which was a little frustrating especially as we were very conscious that there were substantial charges if any of the linen was stained which heightened our awareness of dirty feet. Very quiet area and a short 2 block walk the beach. The private beach is beautiful but you pay a surcharge to use it. There was a voucher in our arrival hamper but the price would have still been $50 to access a beach.

Within walking distance to casino and restaurants.

Very clean room with comfy bed and awesome helpful staff. If you want an affordable room near all the fun, this is it. But if, like we do, you like to hang in the room and play yatzee or read, maybe not. The room was small, and had a tiny table with metal chairs, like a balcony set. Outside area was good though.

Took my family to Tahoe for the first time & this was the perfect place to stay. It was comfortable, spacious, and close to the beach and heavenly village.
2.0
Make no mistake, the pictures of Resthaven are remarkably inaccurate and deceiving. Pulling into the parking lot I realized this hotel was not as advertised and way more expensive than it should be.
Some of my major highlights:
-pubic hair upon arrival on the toilet seat
-zero staff support on site
-used clogged toilet
-door won’t shut unless it is dead-bolted
-picked through starburst snacks
-AC froze —super loud noise
-empty water bottle
All in all, it was a bed and I was able to sleep and shower. But this is the first time I feel letdown by Expedia with this booking.

Loved the quiet area this hotel was in. There was a snack and coffee room that was well stocked for our use. We also enjoyed the fire pit with comfy chairs to enjoy the crisp evening around.

I love how they have the contactless, It’s so easy and way fast to get into your room and not worry about any card to get into your room

Had a pleasant one night stay. The room was very clean and had nice amenities. Did not see any personnel onsite and all communication is by email. If there's no problems this system works but i wonder how issues are taken care of if there’s any room problems.
2.5
Check in was seamless. The room was very clean. It was quiet. We were very pleasantly surprised by the refreshments and snacks in the room and offered in the common area as well. We definitely plan to stay here again.

It’s bearly a one bedroom home. Bathrooms are small and no proper doors

Check in was different, but once we figured it out, it was very easy as well as check-out. It snowed quite a bit (in May) and we were a little concerned about the steep driveway, wasn't a problem. It was plowed and salted before we we needed to leave (early). The room was clean and comfortable. Great alternative to staying in a casino.
