Very old room. Cupboard door fell off. Bathroom old and dirty. Shower hardly working. A lot of mosquitoes able to get in the room. Staff friendly and helpful. Have stayed at this hotel many times but will not stay again

Security not interested in making sure guests are ok when it is late at night and people are using the pool very late and no control over noise levels coming from the restaurant way passed midnight Will never stay again

THE MEALS AT FAT BUDDAH WHERE EXCELLENT. THE SERVICE WAS VERY SLOW. THE STAFF WHERE POLITE AND COURTEOUS. THE CLEANING STAFF WHERE VERY OBLIGING. THE TAXES CHARGED ARE A BIT OVER THE TOP.

The resort is clean and in a good condition. The staff are friendly and there is a driveway making it easy to get taxis or grabs. Just be aware that this is a resort with all its facilities open to public so room service won’t be charged to your room but directly to the restaurant attached to it , same with cafe. The guest is very relaxed and friendly. More of a relaxing resort than a party one. A plus for people wanting to travel safe but on a budget

Hidden little gem for me, positives, beautiful staff, nice lagoon style pool, rooms neat and well presented, close to shops, restaurants and a short walk to the beach for the beautiful sunsets & cold bintangs. Not so positives, if your room is within 5 or 6 rooms of the Fat Buddha you are going to find the noise levels to much, live music till 2am is something they do not tell you. Much better near the lagoon pool in the studios or lagoon access room. Mery in the coffee shop makes a great carrot cake and beautiful coffee.

Disappointing in comparison to previous stays at the Baleka. Didn't get the room I originally booked and ended up with a double twin, rather than a double, with stains on both pillowcases, which were either not changed from the previous booking or were not washed properly. The rooms were tended to daily, but felt like the bed sheets weren't changed at all and the towels weren't changed regularly, with mould running along the bath seal to the wall. The smell eminating out the pipes required the bath and sink plug to be engaged to help eliminate. Was disappointing and not the Baleka I was previously used to.

The staff are amazing, its very noisy from the bar but had some amazing bands( just went on a bit late for us older people) we were moved the 2nd night, the hotel is looking a bit tired but fairly good value for money.

Party of 2 x 2. The rooms are not cleaned properly. The mould around the bath/shower and bath itself is just not good enough. I ended up with bedbug bites and a pharmacy bill of $45.00 au. They did clean and replace my matress but damage was done. Any used glass or cup were wiped out with a damp cloth. I had to request they were washed properly.The towels and bed linen were old and grey. Whilst I'm ok with music from fat Buddha, after 2 weeks it starts to get to you as its so blinking loud. We would not stay here again.. Shame they are not maintaining this venue.

The room was spacious and clean. There was a problem with a blocked drain in the shower and a terrible smell coming out of the drains. Staff dealt with this quickly after i reported it. The location is good if you want to party, but a little too hectic if you want to relax in the calm. The gardens at the hotel were quiet though

My sister and i stay at this hotel every year ,its inproving all the time. This time had lots more chairs around the pool areas which was fabulos. The only suggestion i have this time round is they dont surply hand towels in the bathroom and when i asked for them they said only the premium rooms have them ,well we always book the deluxe lagoon pool view so i guessing thats not premium enough. In saying that is a great hotel in a great location . Thankyou so much for our stay see you next year.

Staff were very accommodating and rooms were cleaned daily. It is located centrally in Legion and within walking distance to the beach/shops/restaurants. First time I have stayed here and would definitely recommend and will return. Restaurant attached to the front of the hotel (Fat Buddha) is a little overpriced but offer a simple breakfast which is included with some room packages. The restaurant offer live sporting matches on big screen tvs and they have some great live entertainment each night. Overall ****
