Besides having the fire alarm pulled at 4:15 AM in the morning. This day was pretty pleasant. I just have two issues.
First- the cups that you provide in the room are not microwavable.
Second- you advertised and so did the company that the pool was available. I was informed when I got there that the pool had been closed for two years.
I know these are simply technicalities, because I choose to stay at Hilton because I’m guaranteed that the room will be clean.

Stayed only 1 night for a comedy show. Hotel was close to the venue, clean room, courteous staff, easy parking.

The property was nice and convenient for my stay.The woman at the dining area on Friday night was rude when taking orders and seemed very overwhelmed. Also, I didn’t get a welcome bag and was told “we’re not allowed to give out any water’’ and to purchase bottled water when I asked for one that morning prior to leaving for work. I didn’t get to participate in their breakfast so a bottled water while staying there so a bottled water is not asking for much. At least I don’t think so.

The Hilton Garden Inn is located in a quiet area of Albany. However there king size bed was a little bit soft for me to sleep comfortably. Don't expect to have bar or restaurant service on the weekends.

Check-in guy was rude, the website stated there was a pool, when checking in was told they had no pool. Found the pool and it was drained with furniture placed inside the pool. Went down on Saturday asked for clean towels, was told they will have them sent up to my room, never got the towels until i went down Sunday morning asking back at the front dresk for towels. There was also a very nasty smell that was coming from the bathroom, not sure if it was coming the tub drain or the toilet. I had to keep the bathroom door closed at all times otherwise the room smelled bad. Also why would you have the bar closed on a weekend?

Property was clean. Staff was friendly. Excellent gym- has a peloton and good choice of weights. Only down side is it is right next to Thruway. I did hear the traffic at night when I woke up but nothing that kept me up. Food was good at in house restaurant. Shades in room are completely black out which was nice too.

The room was clean and comfortable. Everything worked. Breakfast was not included but it looked great for the price.

Hilton Garden Inn is always my first choice when travelling. I love the garden concept. No elevators to the 20th floor (because there isn't one). No dark, scary underground parking garages. Easy in and easy out. Feels super safe. A true garden-style hotel with lovely areas to walk the dog. Not to mention nice, comfortable rooms... Good cable TV package... Great staff. And truly dog-friendly. Good breakfast, too!

I really liked the proximity to the college. Unfortunately we were there for a family weekend (3days), I chose it because there was a pool and with such a nice stay I knew we would love a pool. Unfortunately the pool was out of water. I am highly disappointed that it really put us damper on the stay. I would just have expected that from a Hilton.

We have stayed here twice, once in 2022 and once in 2023, while driving through the area. It’s clean and easy and comfortable. Only complaint is that you can really hear the highway, so if you’re a light sleeper this may bother you.

Beautiful hotel. Quick 1 night stay. Check in and check out went smoothly. Room was very clean, comfortable beds. Friendly and helpful staff. We had a late arrival and the staff were wonderful. Great location too.

Place is dingy and dated in rooms and corridors. Needs new carpets, wall treatments, elevator facelift.

Rude staff, nothing open! Restaurant and pool closed with no warning. Charge 3 times for rooms prepaid and still waiting for refunds. No call back no apologies!!! Never again! One of our daughters will be attending SUNY Albany and we will never stay at a Hilton Property again.
