Throw back to an earlier time-everywhere you looked there were memorabilia from the early 1900s The hostess has a keen eye to detail and hospitality. Loved the excellent breakfast served each morning and the opportunity to connect with other guests around the table. I would not consider it to be a kid friendly place, because there are so many delicate/fragile pieces around the mansion. We would definitely return and stay here again.

What a great experience. The owner is immensely friendly and the property, an old mansion, is truly unique. They've decorated the entire place in the most fun way, and breakfast in the morning was wonderful.

A magical gem of a bed and breakfast. Breath taking and enchanting. Like staying inside of a museum, everywhere you look there’s something special. The architecture, stained glass, decor and the breakfast table were all beyond my expectations. The location is halfway between my best friend in Arkansas and my home in Florida and we vowed to come back next year. Just book it! You will not be disappointed! (We stayed in the Southern Belle room and it was a great night sleep for us both, the room was clean and the beds and pillows were comfortable)

Ms. Shelia was a great hostess. Told us the history of the house and gave a thorough tour when we first arrived. The house is very interesting and has many antiques. We had a great time during our stay!

It was a beautiful mansion. The host were friendly and made sure we had a good stay. The food was more than excellent. The host, owner Sheila, made sure that everything was just right for us. Our stay made us want to come back and stay for pleasure.

The house itself is amazing and wonderfully restored. The owner certainly loves to decorate and the entire house is covered with knick-knacks, paintings, framed documents, full size carousel horses, dress forms with vintage clothing, and doll houses. The individual pieces are impressive but the house felt incredibly cluttered to me. A bigger issue for me was that there is no temperature control in the bedrooms. Though it was in the 90s outside my room was freezing throughout the day and night. The breakfast was delicious and there are numerous restaurants within a 10 minute walk which was convenient for dinner.

The room was exactly as described, confortable and I liked the way the owner kept the Victorian air. Parking is available in the back, a bit tight but better than street parking. This place has a wonderful garden gazebo and porch with seating of your choice. The owner served us breakfast in a wonderful family style breakfast , beautifully decorated. I loved the stay .

We enjoyed our short visit and the B&B was great, just like our previous stays here. My only complaint is with hotels.com. Somehow they messed up in conveying which room we chose when we booked our reservation. Will probably book directly with the B&B next time, so that we can experience another of their uniquely decorated rooms!

Ms. Sheila and her Chef treated all of us like Royalty. Interestingly Enough, three sisters, at my breakfast table, and a man from discovered he knows their Father. And that same Gentleman and I grew up in Oregon. Small world. I will definitely take advantage of Hassinger Daniel’s Mansion BnB again.

We very much appreciated the hospitality. Unfortunately, sleep was hard to come by. Our room was very bright, with very little relief from curtains, so it was hard to sleep. There were decorative cherubs in the room that were extremely dusty that caused allergies to flair up. It was also incredibly noisy outside. The windows were very thin and we heard voices on the porch, voices on the street (at ALL hours), and no quiet for rest. The sheets were a different material, not your normal cotton, which was itchy. Great historical place, just would have appreciated a sound machine / ear plugs, darkening shades, and eye covers at minimum to get rest. I am sharing because I wish we had been warned so we could have prepared if we wanted to still stay there. Very kind and hospitable hostess, great history and relaxation, but our goal was a good night’s sleep.

The owner and host was so sweet and full of fun information about the property. Breakfast was delicious! All of the rooms where so fun. Ours was the peacock room, and it was the perfect size for 2 people. The bed was very comfortable. Highly recommend!!

I recently stayed at your property 7/11-7/13/2024 and wanted to reach out regarding my experience. This was my first time staying in a bed and breakfast so I had different expectations. The property is quite charming but there were a few things that almost made me cancel my second night stay. I only saw the owner once upon arrival. During my stay there was never anyone downstairs which made me feel alone and nervous especially since the foyer is wide open and no curtains for privacy at night. I had trouble carrying my bags up and down the stairs, as there was no one to assist with that. That should be offered considering there is no elevator. My room was not cleaned thoroughly, the bathroom was half cleaned and there were used towels hanging on the curtain rod. The shower liner was dirty and there were bugs in the bathroom. The comforter was dingy, old and had stains on it as well as the pillows. I slept on my sheet that I travel with. My room was freezing. I did not sleep well at all due to the temperature of the room and not being comfortable sleeping under the bedding. Being told to open the room door to regulate the air was very off putting. I was traveling by myself and wasn't comfortable doing that. Mrs. Loraine is a sweetheart and I enjoyed the breakfast. I was uncomfortable during my stay which as a result made me end my trip early and travel back home.

The house and furnishings were beautiful! The staff and hostess were excellent! Breakfast was great! The hostess was very accommodating with our schedule. My only discomfort was the street lights in the windows made the room appear almost in daylight all night long.
