The property is a lovely converted convent blending old and new; the location is midway between old town (uphill) and the beach (downhill), so plan on getting a good number of steps in, since parking is challenging in both locations. The gym is less than I would like by US hotel standards, but adequate. The breakfast offerings are modest but again adequate. Power options in the room are European standard; there are no USB or USB-C ports in the walls, so bring your converters.

Loved the old convent, the breakfast and dinners and the pool. Unfortunately a very noisy place, due to its construction and very loud front desk staff who spoke loudly even after 11:00 PM.

Location was perfect to visit the town and beaches near by. The place was comfortable and quiet making it a great place for relaxation. Outdoor restaurant was great with grill foods that were fantastic. Would recommend and return.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here. Hotel was exceptionally clean and well appointed. The pool area is great and the beach is within a 10 minute walk. There were a couple of small niggles but nothing substantial. The bar/restaurant area seems to shut by about 10pm so we ended up buying a bottle of wine which they were very happy for us to do. The gate down to the beach is shut at 10pm which we weren't told about. Sa Reira is great - nice restaurants and the sea is really clean.

A veey peaceful and calm hotel. Room was spacious with nice simple decor and very fitting of this historic building. Plenty of parking across the road, but goven the local terrain be aware of the incline and terrain for the farthest places.

We only stayed one night in a budget room. Very small indeed. Only one bedside table. Nowhere to put our toiletries in the bathroom. Very friendly staff. Very disappointing room.

This hotel is a unique experience. All staff were friendly and helpful. The location is fabulous and we thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful gardens by the pool each day. We loved our stay.

We stayed at the convent for two nights, it was a lovely room with big doors opening on to a small balcony overlooking the swimming pool, the setting is perfect so quiet and relaxing, we had a problem with the air conditioning and they tried really hard to resolve it, i would stay here again in a heart beat as they really want you to enjoy your time there, also the restaurant is very good.

Loved it. The property was amazing. Cool pool surrounded by beautiful landscaping and big green grass yard, and just a quick walk down to the beach. Restaurant was good, breakfast was incredible.

Our stay was very very good - relaxing and just what we needed. The staff were fantastic and so helpful and the location is the icing on the cake. Only downside is the place does need money spending on it and a few nice touched around the dining room would be only for the best

We loved this hotel. It was right in between the town of Begur and the beach. The hotel was great and although the room was small, it was clean and you don't spend much time in it. Great pool on the property but we preferred to be down by the beach. There's a great little walking trail and it only took about 10 minutes to walk to the beach. It looked like the hotel had a great restaurant but we went into town for dinner instead but if we stayed here again I would try the restaurant. The beach was beautiful and not to crowded and the town that was just up the hill from the hotel was adorable with stunning views of the sea.

Really enjoyed the stay here. Not every day you get to stay in an old convent. Room was tastefully changed, everything worked. Staff was really friendly and helpful including picking us up from Begur centre at the end of the night. Bar service was great including complimentary drinks on check in. Breakfast was great including a good selection. Gardens were lovely on our stay in was very quiet, with nobody around the pool although it was a week day. Very nice different, break from the norm!

Lovely place and although the location is a bit out of the way, there is a nice walking path to the beach. If you are not a fan of walking, make sure you have a car or be prepared to call a cab to visit the town or beach areas. (We ended up renting a car for two days from a local company that delivered the car to the hotel. This allowed us to visit some neighboring towns as well.) The patio is great for breakfast and the rooms are comfortable. The staff went out of their way to make our stay perfect- especially Miriam at reception who spent a lot of time helping us with travel/train arrangements. We would definitely stay at the Convent again.

The hotel is lovely situated in a beaurtiful location. The Staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good with a good choice. The bathroom facilities were fairly basic for a 4 star hotel but very functional. I would recommend this hotel as a base for touring the area.

A lovely small hotel, stylishly converted. It's a short walk to the beach at Sa Riera, but a longer walk uphill to Begur itself and a car is essential. Our standard room was clean and comfortable, although also small and dark. Our main issue was that this hotel needs to decide whether it's offering peaceful romantic breaks or noisy family holidays as it's just not big enough for both. The hotel had seemed to be selling itself as ideal for a quiet getaway, which we were looking forward to, but the number of small noisy children put paid to that - at breakfast, at the pool, in the gardens, on the terrace. Not much fun for the couples or the families! Our stay was not cheap, and the fitness suite was 'out of order' the whole time, there was no sign of the electric cycles, the poolside bar did not open - and, actually, no senior staff were spotted. The staff we did see were lovely, though. The restaurant on the terrace offered excellent breakfasts and an interesting and innovative menu in the evenings.

Stayed for weekend break and cannot find a fault with the Hotel. Small gym & sauna and internet access at no extra cost, food very good, rooms very nice & staff very helpful.
