Great stay. Room was clean, cosy, old with beams. It’s an old building so creaky floorboards and little corridors/stairs. A small amount of parking available. Breakfast was good and served at a pub/hotel a couple of doors down. Excellent value for the price and would absolutely stay again

I think there is a special place in hell for hotel owners who chose to play loud gigs without having noise isolation in the rooms. My room was shaking (at 22:09) when I came down to ask when this cacophony will end I had to put fingers in my ears. Not sure why the dude who was playing needed it so loud, maybe he thought he was in Wembley arena or something. Other cons: cups in my room wasn't clean and toilet flush didn't work properly. Oh, and car park is almost always full (there were instances when we couldn't park there). Pros: very nice breakfast and nice friendly staff

Room was clean and tidy. Lighting wasn't brilliant, eco friendly bulbs = poor lighting. Food and service were excellent. Room was looking out over the river Severn.

A historic property and a great atmosphere. The glass floor in room 5 was really cool. A lovely little town and a nice bar to get wasted

Was in Ironbridge for the regatta and The Swan is in a perfect location. Friendly staff, nice breakfast (taken at Malt House 100m up road). Live music on Saturday and good food as well

It was our first time in The Swan but wont be our last. Rooms were clean comfortable. Good value for money. Breakfast was in the sister hotel a short walk down the street and was superb. Will definitely come back.

Maybe give a warning that because of the building’s age, there are many steps to negotiate. Challenging for those with mobility problems. Crazily long wait for dinner to be served. It is obviously a very popular restaurant but a wait of over an hour to be served is not good. And a couple near us waited even longer! Nice clean en suite bathroom, with a proper bath but a , cracked washbasin and water not hot. Fortunately after boiling the supplied kettle six times and adding it to the bath, it was ok. Wonderfully comfortable bed, puts many a more expensive place to shame. Very good breakfast, everything you could possibly want.

Excellent stay in Ironbridge, with the property in a great location with on site parking. Breakfast included in the price was outstanding and we even ate at the smokehouse for dinner, which was very tasty. Nice view of the river out the room window. Only downside was the low beams and ceilings around the rooms but only an issue as I’m quite tall.

Terrible stay. No signal or Wi-Fi in the room. No shower in the room just a bath tub. Skylight in the room which let the light in. Was told kitchen closes at 9.30 went to order at 9 and was told the chef has finished. I was also blocked in the car park in the morning by staff.

I really enjoyed our stay at the swan. Staff nice, when booking in he took us to our rooms, and was chatting,it's the little things that count. Looking forward to returning hopefully for longer. Thank you for the stay .

This is an quirky building which was excellent value and amazing breakfasts . Only negative for me was the whirlpool bath it was dirty in the jets and did not inspire me to use it at all . Suggestion for the property is to remove and install new baths or even better a shower

Short 2 day trip. Room was OK with a traditional feel to it. However still could have done with a little updating without detracting from the original features. Bathroom tired and in desparate need of a proper shower. Bar had good selection of reasonably priced beers and an impressive food menu. Food we ordered was good value and very tasty.

What a little gem! We Loved this place . It is in a great location and we had the attic room with a beautiful view over the river. Although the room was a little dated it was exceptionally clean and comfortable and the staff were really helpful. Parking was free which was a bonus a we could leave the car whilst we went exploring the gorgeous village and river walks. Breakfast included was served at the sister pub about 100 yards down the road, the choice was superb with extremely generous helpings. We would highly recommend this for quality and great value for money and would definitely book again.

The Swan is great fir a visit to the beautiful Ironbridge gorge. I was there for the rowing regatta and it's placed ideally between the Iron Bridge and the regatta site on Dale End Park. Comfy room, plus great beers and food.

property is ideally situated for the Bridge and surrounding areas. Wonderful use of the old building complete with squeaky floorboards. Dry warm room with great comfort. Slept so well.

The stay was fantastic from the start. The rooms were stunning and very clean. The staff were amazing, the service was great and the food was absolutely gorgeous. I proposed to my girlfriend while we were here as we well and she said yes. We'll definitely be staying here again.

Lovely room with a view directly onto the river.Clean room with good sized TV but Wifi signal not good enough to stream via Netflix/Prime on it as we found out only after paying to watch a film.Perfectly located for walks along the river or further afield.

We enjoyed our stay. We have previously stayed at the Swan Tap hotel. It had been decorated nicely since our previous visit. There was a couple of little things that were needed. For example there was no Mirror in the bathroom. No table lamps, also the towels are not changed daily which I rather have. Over all it’s a lovely place. If you have disabilities you have to get up a good few stairs to the first floor, so if you can’t manage stairs best find a different place. I had phoned the swan tap before going to ask for a room as low as possible but you still have stairs to climb.

Woken to the sounds of birds singing and a view of the river. Breakfast was served in the sister hotel but was absolutely spot on. The food the night before was fantastic and good value. Well ran and friendly staff.

The hotel stay was nice. I went with my daughter and granddaughter. My daughter is diabetic and vegan and my granddaughter is vegetarian. At breakfast there was no vegan options on either food or drink. So my daughter ended up with dry toast and beans and a glass of Diet Coke (not ideal for breakfast) as there was no soy milk either. We would like to return but would be nice to see a more variety for both vegan vegetarian and drinks for diabetics.

Didnt really like anything. Room was like a room in the early 1900's along with creaking floors, damp bathroom smell, window hardly able to open and a particular issue being the tap attachment for a shower head. Had to sit in bath to wash....Room not dirtly but just a general feeling of oldness. Expecting to see a metal bath that someone will fill with water...Bed soft and low beams to hit a head on...Shoddy corridors to room...
