The room, hotel was clean. Staff was nice. Do not count on the continental breakfast. Milk was bad, cereal was stale, hot food was not even decent. Even coffee was bad. Would not book this hotel thinking breakfast is a benefit. But everything else was great.

We got there Saturday and the front entrance was yellow taped cause the were painting the front entrance with a very hard smell paint then we went to the pool and the water was cloudy and the hot tub was broken, elevator out, back door entrance did not work, very moldy smell on the hallways then to top it off on Sunday the painted the outside of the pool leaving a hard smell and the water dirty.

Provided a clean, pleasant environment for a last minute lodging need. Staff was absolutely wonderful with our group. Only drawback was the nightly "gatherings" at the gas station/liquor store across the parking lot. Not noisy - just made our group of females uncomfortable to walk over for sodas/snacks or to the nearby restaurant.

I was a little concerned about the condition and cleanliness of the room at first. Carpet in halls and stairs seemed old, and loosely fit. Pool had signage that maintenance was being done but it was still accessible. Water in the pool looked a little cloudy and hot tub was not hot. The ice machine on 2nd floor was broken. The room was clean but the toilet seat was completely off hinges. It was repaired after being reported. Also a picture had been removed and you could tell the wall had been painted around the picture. Nothing affecting cleanliness or quality, but not esthetically pleasing. There was a strong marijuana smell in hallway that made me uncomfortable having my granddaughter around. They provided a good variety of breakfast items and the breakfast staff was very kind and helpful. Overall was clean and provided a good night’s sleep. P

It was okay for one night. I wouldn’t want to stay more than that. If I had cleaned the room myself, I’d probably feel better about it. The room smelled dank- it had an old smell. I sprayed the room down with Lysol and was able to sleep okay. I typically stay at Hampton Inns, Embassy Suites, etc. The staff was meh. They don’t match online prices. I booked it online while I stood at the counter which made me unable to get my points. The staff wasn’t super friendly but not mean either.

This is my second stay at Country Inn and Suites. It was wonderful as it was before! Quincy was so nice and friendly when I checked in. I had only booked for one night but my plans had changed. I explained to Quincy and he said not a problem we can work this out !! We got the room that has a living room and bedroom. We had our two grandchildren with us and it was great to get two rooms. Breakfast was wonderful the ladies that take care of it are so sweet and really make sure you have enough to eat. One morning they actually made me a waffle seeing I was tired from the night with the kids - it was so nice. The cleaning ladies work so hard in the rooms my room was meticulous everyday! Needed more towels they were delivered right away. The front desk people were also very helpful and nice. Coffee and hot water available all day long which i know I needed. It is located close to so many restaurants- Logan’s right there delicious steaks. My family knows where to stay when they visit Alabama to see my son look no further this is the place - County Inn and Suites !!

Very out dated hotel. No vending machines or soda machines those were all down. Place smelled when you walk in Very musty. You can hear people talking in next rooms, elevator dirty still never cleaned on day we left. Housekeeping opens door then knocks after she is standing in my room I told her you are suppose to knock then enter. Best part of the stay was the bed. Definitely won't stay there again..

Excellent accommodations for our family of four. It was really close to the Space and Rocket Center, shopping malls, and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great!

The property has an off-putting smell. It smelled in the lobby, the hallways and even in the rooms. I can't put my finger on what it smelled like, but it was unpleasant. Rooms were sufficiently clean, but the bed was hard and uncomfortable.

The hotel was very clean everyone was very nice . Quincy at the front desk was wonderful had a problem with my AC he moved me right away! I will be definitely returning and have told my family about this Hotel . I have a son in New Market so I’ll be definitely returning soon!! Mary Jane Dudley

I was coming from the west coast on a red eye and they would not let me check in early even though I booked on Orbit as a package. Shame on both Orbitz and the hotel for not providing southern hospitality. Makes one wonder why folks go into hospitality when they have none.

The service and staff were wonderful, but the hotel itself is in deire need of an update. The elevator was creaking and bumpy, to the point where we were nervous it was going to break down. The pool was murky and it didnt seem to have a pump system (or it might not have been working). There were ladybugs on the window sill and in the room. This was probably because you could open the windows! Im so glad my 3 year old didnt discover this, because we were on the third floor, and he is a climber. There was also a giant stain on the carpet of our room, and the beds were super stiff.

We stayed here for a weekend trip to the rocket center. We stayed in the king suite and it was very small compared to the pictures online. Our bathroom wasn’t clean, I had to clean the tub out myself so myself and children could take a bath. The pool didn’t seem very clean either. All in all, we wouldn’t stay here again. Cheap hotel, but gets the job done if you’re only needing a bed.

It was pretty clean. The gentleman at the desk at check in was very friendly. The tv was not working and the bathroom door did not close all the way. The lady at checkout was not friendly at all.

No plug in the bathtub, so no ability to take a bath. Housekeeping comes too early at 8a and if in room they never come back later to clean the room. not friendly at the front desk. front lobby smells musty.

My one big issue. I booked a room believing it would sleep three. When we got to the room it only had a king bed, no pull out couch for my child to sleep on. The only thing I could do was book a second room and hope Travelocity would cancel the first room. The front desk clerk did give us extra blankets to make a pallet on the floor.

We had a large group of family/friends. Our rooms were perfect and near each other as we requested. Pool/hot tub stays open until midnight and was a nice end to our busy days near rocket city. Staff were kind and helpful. Location was perfect!
