Lovely place. The facilities are fantastic. Food is ok only and you can get sick of it after a couple of days. Great general experience.
4.3
The rooms needed a little more maintenance as damp patches were showing, but that was very minor. The place in general was fantastic and would definitely come back again.

We didn’t enjoy our stay and left half way through and went somewhere else.
The food was ok but getting in to the restaurant has a ridiculous booking system (for an all inclusive buffet!). You are required to book 4 hours in advance. Except when you complain and you’re then told it’s not compulsory to book. Though the restaurant staff seem unaware that it isn’t compulsory - so who knows?
Anyway, nothing screams ‘holiday!’ than being tied to a rigid schedule for access to tepid chips. Magical.
Oh! The two stag do’s! They were hilarious at a family resort. Especially when the ‘Beer Leader’ (that’s what he had written on his shirt) had 9 tequilas on the bounce. Was he sick? Yes, yes he was. It was still daylight.
The kids club was a disappointment too. Not so much a club, rather a veranda attached to a building that only the staff were allowed into. Parents required to attend the whole time.
I definitely wouldn’t recommend families to stay here. Probably fine for golf groups and stag do’s.
Also helps if you speak Portuguese, lots of the staff don’t speak English.

Rooms are spacious and clean, balcony is a great size. Pools are lovely.
The little train to the beach is great, but gets full very quickly so you have to wait for the next one (every 30 minutes).
Downside is having to book for every single meal at least 4 hours before the meal. It means that sometimes our little one was asleep at the time and completely missed her lunch. Restaurant opens at 7pm for dinner which was a little late for our baby.
4.3
It was a great place for family holidays. Checkin experience was below expectations and there were limited vegetarian food options. Everything else was great
4.3
Enjoyable stay. Check in could be smoother. Space was good and proximity to pools and restaurants was perfect. Single beds in the rooms didn’t make much sense nor practical. Food was okay and staff were hardworking too.
Dmitry was really good and helpful during meal times. Cash is needed for the stay especially if you need to get towels for the pool- was a real hassle returning the towels.
4.3
Hotel is amazing, food are good, rooms very big well service with bottles of water in fridge. Free used of safe . I enjoy the entertainment every night especially the belly dancer. 5 star service from all staff.
Only let down is the beach but everything else was good. I will recommend the hotel to anybody like swimming pools. It will be great for familys as they have day centre activity for kids. Tennis court and outside gym is plus.
4.3
Loved that there was a 5 minute train that took you right to the beach ! Wasn’t a fan of the food options. The hotel on the outside was beautiful but it was a bit outdated on the inside. The staff was great! Any issues or queries they sorted it immediately!

Roomy apartments. Good food. Good wine. Helpful staff. Very noisy and crowded restaurants. No sparkling wine or champagne. Difficult to find the entrance and reception when checking in. Very few hangers in wardrobs. No sun on the balcony.
4.3
Overall very good hotel and all inclusive. Food basic but pretty good value. Could eat and drink at any time so well catered for. Rooms were lovely. Could do with new sun loungers and attention to small details for cleanliness.
4.3
The hotel is lovely. Pool area was great, room was spacious and spotless. Food was plentiful but often cold for some reason. Lots of drink choice including cider. Staff are friendly but we did get reprimanded off one staff member for not booking in for breakfast which was embarrassing. Free shuttle to a lovely beach or 15/20 minute walk. I think the hotel would be great for families as certain pools are really shallow for toddlers, theres a park, beach vollyball. The hotel just wasnt for us, a couple in our late 40s who stayed for 2 weeks. I didnt like that we needed to book for breakfast, lunch and dinner each day, we didnt want to be on a schedule on a 2 week holiday. We found the hotel was occupied by lots of groups of golfers who would be pretty loud on an evening, which is fine as everyone is on holiday to enjoy themselves but it would be beneficial if the hotel had a seperate room for people wanting a quiet drink or to watch the entertainment. The 2 bars, sports and lobby bars both have tvs and these were always playing sports. The poor entertainers had to preform over shouting from guests watching football/rugby. They wasnt really anything or anywhere else in the immediate area to go to on an evening. An uber to yhe old town was 8 to 10 euros.

Clean rooms and firendly personnel

The apartment we stayed in was nice and clean, good working AC and fully equipt kitchen. The beds are really comfy and the balcony spacious and nice. Cleaning is done very well, you get between 4-8 bottles of water a day in your refrigerator.
The hotel area is clean and well kept, pools are nice and the sunbeds OK. We had no problems getting sunbeds every day, even though we slept longer than 10.
On the other hand, which is kind of misleading. There are three different restaurants but it's kind of the same food in them all. You HAVE to book breakfast, lunch and dinner every day which I think is kind of uncomfortable and unflexible. The food is quite tasteless and absolutely no salt, the pizza slices is the best thing we remember from the visit. The snacks that is promised is under very limited of time during the day, so is the ice cream which is very different from other allinclusives in my experience.
It is said that english is one of the spoken languages at the hotel but in fact there is very limited understanding of english, this makes it hard to communicate with the staff. We didn't have the opportunity to change our pool towels more than twice during the week since they didn't have enough towels.
Some of the staff is nice, especially the cleaning staff. Some of the staff is not that nice and are looking like they won't to go home.
Over all, I would stay in this hotel if it was near some outside restaurants, but I wouldn't pay this price for all inclusive.

Lack of any welcome on arrival. Many reception staff are untrained. It would appear the customer is not important but a nuisance (how dare we disturb their time on mobile devices).
The place was very clean and the bedroom was lovely with the most comfy bed. Housekeeping staff were very thorough.
Food was very good with a wide range & variety for all tastes. The restaurant and bar staff were surly and did not appear to smile.
Our biggest disappointment was the state of the tennis courts - mostly covered in sand making play impossible. This was very disappointing as we arrived to play tennis but could not.
Overall this resort did not meet our expectations. Staff training needs to improve. Management are unaware of maintenance issues.
4.3
Lovely spacious rooms with great and helpful staff. Pools are great different sizes and one for babies so nice for them to put their feets in
4.3
Very clean and safe.

The hotel is 4 star but it has the bare minimum. There are no slippers or robe, and there’s only hand soap available.
We didn’t have hot water.
We left our phone chargers and a set of earrings and when we call the next day to go get them, the reception said nothing was found which means housekeeping by probably kept them.
The food is buffet which is not hygienic, I saw a customer picking up pizza with their hands from the buffet.
There are 3 restaurants on site which the reception said to book online. We tried but two of them gave an error page. Called reception to book it for us, when we got there the restaurant was closed.
The terraces are the best thing of the rooms.
Overall it was not value for money as it’s not q cheap hotel and the experience as disappointing.

Very early in the season so I appreciate that they weren't in full swing. The food was nice but not all that hot, we had to use the microwave to warm up the breakfast. The cocktails were nice but in plastic glasses, which I thought was not really necessary if you are in the bar in the evening. The two bars were both very unappealing, very basic like a canteen or staff room & the outside areas were like car parks with seats. Perhaps they hadn't got around to putting in a couple of potted palms!

Hotel was stunning. Very clean, Swimming pools were good with enough beds. Food was excellent as well.
4.3
Overall it's a great resort. The pool pools are fabulous and the food is of a high standard. However, there are some issues. The Aircon in our room did not work. I reported this 5 times over our 10 night holiday but it was not fixed and they didn't offer an alternative suite. The option to purchase a proper coffee would be great
4.3
Excellent stay at a beautiful well kept and spacious hotel. We stayed in family room which allowed us to keep our 2 year old within the same room but a separate closed area for the earlier bedtime. Hoping to visit again sooner rather than later.
4.3
We, a family of 4 with a 5 year old and an 11 month old, stayed for 10 nights.
The staff were all great and very helpful.
Our children loved the swimming pools and the small swing park. The baby pools were really good as the children could play and you can sit and watch them. The larger pools were good as well. The pools we went to never felt busy. The sun loungers were nearly full most days, with a few having towels on them but no one being there all day.
There were 3 restaurants to choose from and you were asked to book them every morning. Despite booking a restaurant you could get food from all 3 so we weren't sure why you needed to book.
The food was reasonable but got a bit repetitive. If you're not a fussy eater you will find something. The cereal choices at breakfast were limited but the omelettes were good. The pastries were just OK.
The beach is a fair distance from the hotel but the beach train saves you walking. However,it's still a 5mins walk to the beach from the train.
There isn't much nearby, which we were aware of beforehand, so hiring a car or getting taxis might be needed.
I would recommend for families and would stay again.

We spent £900 for a four night stay. Our check in was delayed by an hour. Check in time was unusually late at 4 o’clock so inexcusable to keep us waiting with two young children. My husband complained and we were advised we were being upgraded. This “upgrade” resulted in me returning to reception as I discovered we had one bedroom and a living room with a sofa bed for our two children. When I booked the hotel I deliberately called Expedia to explain our circumstances and specifically request accommodation to suit a family of four (ie two bedrooms) The accommodation provided was not appropriate and I questioned what our room was like pre-upgrade. Further I asked if they thought it was acceptable that my husband was making the bed up and we also had insufficient linen. Hotels surely have a duty of care to ensure accommodation meets minimum requirements rather than ensuring maximum capacity regardless. The hotel in itself was soulless and the food likened to poor school dinners which resulted in us opting out of the all inclusive deal in favour of dining out which was not the original intention. After our first day the balcony hadn’t been cleaned and we returned to find flies circling our plastic cups from the night before. In brief I do not recommend this hotel at all. If it had cost us half of what we paid I would still question value for money particularly on a hotel that apparently holds 4 stars which should assure a minimum standard which this failed to do.

Great hotel, food is amazing for an all inclusive and the drinks are plentiful. It is a little out the way of local towns so you have to be prepared to use the hotel entertainment or travel by taxi for a livelier night life

The photos show this hotel close to the beach, it’s not! It’s a 15 minute walk.
Many of the facilities are also not at this hotel and require a day pass to use. The hotel is big and that means dining is impersonal. Also the hotel is more family oriented which is absolutely fine but if your looking for peace and pampering, this place is not for you.
Some families staying there had no respect for other guests, leaving their children’s nappies on tables by the pool and constantly shouting, day and night.
We will not be returning...
Photos of hotel are misleading...

Check-in was slightly slow and confusing as we arrived shortly after a Thomas Cook group and were left to our own devices to figure things out (perhaps they assumed we were part of the group and already had all the info).
The room was very clean and sizeable with a corner balcony on the 3rd floor overlooking the golf course with an amazing view of the sunset and away from the noise of the pools. Despite calling for house keeping after they'd closed, the reception staff were fantastic in finding all potential replacement pillows for us (due to feather allergies) and carrying them all to our room late at night and organising proper replacements for the next day. Maintenance even came and sorted our a jammed bathroom door the very next day too.
The pools were well spread out with varying depths and there was always something available for the children to get involved with - there was even a short activity for adults towards the end of the day. The "Tschu Tschu" train runs every 30 minutes and takes 5 minutes to reach the beach which was quiet and had affordable drinks and snacks.
The food was very good (maybe a bit salty) but varied each day although the noise in the food halls tended to travel.
This hotel is ideal for families with children as the entertainment continues throughout the day. It's not great for couples but it has nearby golf, spa and beach as well as the local tourist bus having a pickup/drop-off right outside for getting into town.
