Exclusive quiet area close to Stellenbosch, very helpful owner especially on the local wine estates and private off road parking. Stellenbosch has a lively centre with many good restaurants.

This was our favourite stay on our 2 week SA trip! Penelope was extremely inviting and her attention to detail on all the little touches was well received. Well kept guesthouse, with a lovely garden and pool. Great location for a short drive to the Stellenbosch winery's

Penelope’s guesthouse is in an ideal location for visiting Stellenbosch and the surrounding wine region. It is a fantastic place to stay. Great room and lovely hostess. The house is beautifully furnished and spotless. Penny made us welcome from the time we arrived until we left, nothing was to much trouble for her. She gave my wife and I lots of advice on places to visit.We will definitely return next time we are in the Western Cape.

Penelope was LOVE, one of the best hosts, ever! She made our stay feel like home. The place is very cozy and comfortable, well maintained in a quiet area so we were able to relax on our vacation just as we should. Breakfast was lovely too. The guest house is accessible via uber and very near the University area as well as other nearby wineries and vineyards. We will definitely come back! I recommend this for groups as well so you can rent the entire guest house for yourselves!

We are really satisfied with our stay at this charming place. The owners were so welcoming and nice and the place was so Peaceful, with a blooming garden to have breakfast in, and a pool big enough to swim in. The room was even nicer than the pictures described! Highly recommended.

Aside from the first class accommodations and breakfast, a real treat was Penelope herself. She was warm and welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful, and a guenuinely delightful person. The beautiful gardens and fresh cut flowers in the room made yu feel like you were in an oasis.Thank you Penelope for a wonderful stay.

Three of us spent five nights at Penelopes Guesthouse while attending a conference. The rooms were great - fluffy towels, big beds and crisp sheets. Extra attention to detail including fresh flowers every day, a treat on your pillow and a Nespresso machine in each room were added bonuses.The breakfasts were delicious, with Penelope going out of her way to accommodate an early start. We also appreciated Penelopes advice on where to eat in town and how to get to various places.The Guesthouse is not situated within Stellenbosch itself, but rather in the outlying suburbs. This would be a challenge if you did not have a car - but it worked for us and meant the rooms were quiet.We would definitely stay here again and would recommend this Guest house to others.

Located in a suburban neighborhood in Stellenbosch, a bit tricky to find unless you have a GPS (we did). An exceptionally nice B&B, hard to improve upon in any dimension. Even a Nespresso machine in the room! Good value, highly recommended.
