Stayed for two nights and the staff was very nice and comforting. They made sure my family had items that weren't initially provided without any hassle. Beautiful view of the ocean with a nice restaurant inside were very corteous to my family.

Check in was terrible! It wasn’t ready by 4pm. I called by 4pm and they said my oceanfront room was not ready. They said they would call me once it’s ready. Close to 6pm, they have not called me so I called them. The room was ready but they said they were busy this the reason they were not able to call me about my room! This check in gave me a migraine. As soon as I got to it room, I took my medicine and slept the night. Checked out at 8am. Don’t even get to enjoy the property because of the bad service.

The hotel is very comfortable and clean, perfect for family. Just a warning on the chandler restaurant host’s incompetence, poor management and will make your family wait for no reason or less than 50% occupied tables.

It was very nice being an ocean front property. Expect a very late check-in as the rooms are not ready even passed check-in time. There were hand prints and lip prints all over the sliding glass door leading to the balcony. The room refrigerator is not really a refrigerator for food or beverages but for medications, so it is not very cold at all.

There are too many disappointments for this trip. First, we made reservations for two rooms, but when I called a week ahead to make sure everything will be smooth, they only found one room. Lots of hassles as we booked via Hotels.com vs. with Cape Rey directly. But finally we were confirmed with two rooms. Secondly, the check-in time is 4pm, but we could not get our first room until 4:30pm and the second room until 6:20pm. This has greatly affected our original planning. We did not expect this from a Hilton! Thirdly, they no longer had bottled water, but they said they provided two empty bottles for customers to get water from water machine and two slippers in every room, but one of our rooms didn't have those. Maybe they were in a rush cleaning the room and forgot to put them in. Fourth, furnitures were outdated and mediocre with lots of wear and tear, carpets were dirty with lots of stains, bed sheets were thin and looked like they had been used for many years. We had to use disposable bed sheets that we brought just to be safe. Overall, we think the price is too much for this quality. This hotel feels like a better Holiday Inn.

Very nice! Very convenient. They have a beautiful pool area .right across from the beach. They have bicycles to use. Beds were fairly comfortable. The sheets are really soft.i really enjoyed this property,! I will be back!

Love the property, ease of charging things to the room, cleanliness and comfortability of the room, and friendliness of the staff. Be prepared to spend a lot of additional money on site between parking, the prices of the food including breakfast, drinks from the bar , and food/drinks from concierge area. There was also no communication upon check-in where the beach access was at and the parking process so that took additional calling and delays waiting to talk to someone at front desk

Sadly th service at the restaurant was extremely slow. Once we were seated, there was no waiter to be found. We sat for breakfast and just waited 20 mins. Waiters would walk by and seemed to avoid eye contact. I got up and went to one of the waiters and asked who would be assigned to our table. He said oh sorry. We ll get right on it. He came over to ask for drinks and food. We ordered. Another 20 mins later no where to be found. Had to get up again and ask where all the waiters were. Finally came over with coffee then vanished again. The restaurant was pretty empty. If it were full I would understand waiters being busy. Not sure if understaffed. I went to tell the manager and explained we had the same experience the prev morning at breakfast. She said they were fully booked I said, I understand that. I asked her to walk over with me to the restaurant so she could see it was really empty, maybe just a few tables. She said she would speak to whoever was in charge. For the price of the hotel and how they promote 4 diamonds, service was truly lacking sadly. I asked front desk manager for a late check out since breakfast too so long, but they said no. Response was “ if delay your room it will delay a paying customer”. I thought, wait? Do I not matter anymore because I had already paid and my stay was nearly over? I had to leave breakfast before food was served to go finish packing and left my family to eat once food arrived. I hope they get better.

We had stayed here in the past book through Hilton, everything was clean. This stay was a disappointment. The price was outrageous, the room was not on the floor we asked for. The carpets were dirty and worn. The bathroom sink smelled. The water pressure in the shower was low. The pool was dirty. Won’t stay here again.

Very nice property, we took the shuttle to the beach where the hotel provided umbrellas / chairs / towels and water. The beach area is very rocky make sure to have your water shoes. Service from valet to dining to pool service was nice and attentive.

We stayed one night to go to the beach. The free shuttle to the local beach is wonderful. They will set up umbrellas and chaise lounges for you prior to you getting there. It is a rocky beach, but there is sand for the kids to play. When I checked in, I was offered an upgrade of a pool view for $10 or Ocean view for 25. I did the ocean view upgrade, but I wouldn’t recommend it. The view is the street, and an RV park, before you see the water. It’s not really my idea of ocean view. I can’t recommend that. The staff was extremely friendly, the pool area is nice, didn’t try the restaurant because prices were really high. Overall, the shuttle and set up at the beach is a definite reason to stay here.
