Centrally located hotel in Pereira with breakfast and comfortable room with safe, air conditioning and hot water. Staff is attentive. Unique old home with antique decorations. Book rooms towards the back as its in a busy street that can be loud on weekends. Stairs to go up to the property but staff help with your bags after ringing the doorbell. Breakfast consists of different types of egg, fruit, cheese, juice and coffee/hot chocolate. Would be good to have other traditional Colombian breakfast options like empanadas, etc. as well as more sustainable bathroom options for soap, shampoo, etc. not so much single use. Walking distance to two malls. Would stay again.

Nice and cool antique hotel with a retro look like. Artistic. Rooms need to improve more. It’s nice to keep and preserve the old stuff but trying to update better the rooms. Personnel really need to improve their english

$400 were taken from my room and I was not given a refund for the days I canceled ahead. I was supposed to be there until 7/2/22 but I left on 6/29/22 and never received a refund.

Very beautiful boutique hotel with nice large, and clean rooms. Convenient to major shopping mall, bars, and excellent nearby restaurants.

When we pulled up a gentleman greeted us at our cab. Great start! Such a lovely small throwback in time. Romantic. We had to leave early and the breakfast gentleman made sure we ate even before the time. He called us a cab. Just a gem of a place!!!!

The Don Alfonso is truly one of the best boutique hotels in Pereira. The location is excellent. The staff is very friendly and most accommodating. The breakfast is the morning is delicious. For a business person you will not find a better stay.

I liked the location, and the very unique property. I did not like the room setup, also I have to wait for the key holder or any other employee who is on duty to leave or enter the property because they do not have a key system, the ring at the front door is not working properly.

Were visiting family in Pereira and only stayed one night but the service was exceptional! They serve breakfast beginning at 7am but they offered to serve us earlier since we had to leave at 6am. Rooms were extremely clean and comfortable- perfect location and a very cute hotel overall.

this is a fabulous boutique hotel, the staff was first rate. my only very minor complaint is they offer no safe in the room, but the staff was very cooperative in storing my valuables in their office safe, I would highly recommend this beautiful property

Check in was very easy and the staff was extremely kind. However, the tile floor in our room was filthy. The hotel also appeared to be under construction, so perhaps it will improve after that is done.Breakfast was standard, nothing too exciting or horrible. However, it is served in an atrium in the center of the hotel that echoes. This means you can hear every conversation and fork scrape from our room. We were awoken by one an especially chatty diner who must have taken advantage of the free coffee very early in the morning.

Charming, restored home with modern amenities. Great location near many restaurants and shops. Staff went the extra mile from serving breakfast early to calling taxis, providing umbrellas, etc... Would definitely return to this boutique hotel.

The Don Alfonso is a wonderful hotel. Great location. The hotel staff are experienced and seasoned professionals. They go out of their way to make you feel special and accommodate your request. Do not miss this Gem in Pereira!!!

Although Hotels.com never alereted the hotel of my reservation they where very accomidating and offered us a room at a lower price then the website quoted to make up for the inconvenience. The hotel is a very charming Spanish style hacienda complete with decorations and decor, very nicely and tastefully displayed throughout the hotel. The rooms were very clean and the beds where comfortable but just a little too simple; I would had enjoyed some more traditional decorations in the room. The breakfast was honestly one of the best I've had at any hotel in all of Colombia (outside of Decameron). The dining area is inside the hotel courtyard and the pond with waterfall made it even more enjoyable and relaxing. The neighborhood is one of the nicest in all of the city and just a short walk from any destination you would want to venture to. Please beware that there are 3 night clubs within 100 meters of the hotel, so a Friday or Saturday night stay might not be the best idea if you are a light sleeper.

A very nice and architecturally well-designed hotel. Very cozy from the moment you walk into their BIG grand door and you are always greeted with a smiling face. And they cook breakfast for you on the spot! Everything is fresh there. The rooms are very clean, well maintained, HOT showers....really exceeded my expectations.

The building is a restored Mansion, and thats exactly how you feel when you walk in. The staff were very welcoming and the room was in keeping with the style of the building. Very comfortable bed, and great shower. The courtyard was lovely, as was the upstairs patio, complete with Hammock.
