The room smelled like someone died in it - we asked to be moved but were told by others & the desk clerk they all smelled that way & to turn AC on & it would get better. It did not by the 3rd day we were coughing constantly. Also the chairs at the pool were all broken so no where to sit.

I don't know whose fault it was… But I specifically selected this hotel to use the swimming pool. When I got there, there was a sign-up saying it was closed for the season. I'm not sure if it's Hotels.com fault or the hotel itself.

Area felt safe and very well lit, also very quiet and no noisy neighbors. The pillow could have been better, hair dryer didn’t work and saw a couple baby roaches in the bathroom. Also they requested a $50 cash deposit.. most people do not carry cash on them. The Expedia website never said it said to be a cash payment.. typically this deposit is placed as a hold on my credit card at every other hotel I’ve been to. Thankfully the gentleman at the front desk was able to accommodate me and not force me to use the ATM and give cash.

Hotel was fine. Nothing unique.nJust a standard hotel.Was disappointed because would have liked a first floor by where we parked but got 3 rd floor at the very end of the hall. Luckily there was an elevator.

There were spiders and bugs in the room. The rooms smelt as well. Not sure we all even slept. You only had 15 minutes to after check in to be fully refundable. By the time we checked in and notice all of this it was after the time frame.

A poorly maintained and beat looking especially on the inside. The worst hotel in the Fort Walton area. Can’t book in until 3:00pm and English is a challenge in the office. I would never stay there again.

Overall it was clean and the staff was friendly. I'm not a fan of microfiber bath towels but they were clean and serve the purpose. My only issue was the mattress was by far the hardest mattress I have ever slept on in my life. And the sheet to cover the mattress was the wrong size sheet so the mattress wasn't even fully covered. But again it served the purpose so I would give it a three and a half out of five star rating overall.

Not bad for a place to just crash but the ac had no drain so the room always felt damp and the floors stood wet. The room service came 1 time in my 5 days 4 nights there. The rooms are plain no pictures nothing. The ice machine didn't work.but over-all if its just a place to sleep it was clean no bugs and it was quiet

Rude office people. Don't believe room had ever been moped Couldn't go barefooted lol. Attempted to get the room done up midway through our stay also did not work. Had to wait to 3p.m. on the dot to check in for be charged 20 bucks. Most definitely wasnt worth 170 a night

Friendly front desk. Needs a higher quality shower curtain. Water went everywhere. Great water pressure. Convenient location. Comfortable bed.

This place is older but it’s well kept and quiet. If you’re looking for somewhere close to the water but don’t want to pay Destin prices, try here. They also have a working elevator which was nice. Air was very cold too.

We liked the location, the pool was good, and the price. The shower water flows really well. There was a fridge and microwave. However, the beds were the worst I have ever slept in. The bathroom door doesn't lock. The ice makers don't all work, and the outside is a bit dirty.

Trip was an one night stay and checking in wasn't bad at all. Got to the room which i requested downstairs and when i open the door it was like ok i guess it will do. Put my stuff down and went ran errands. Got back to shower and put something in the fridge and my girl noticed a roach in the fridge. Upon that i decided to look into it further and noticed a dirty cleaning rag hanging so i went complain. They offer to move or reclean room so i said if one room like this then hell the others might be as well. My girl showered den we left. Came back and room was semi clean because i noticed a grease spot where the phone was before we left and came back it was somewhat cleaned until you moved the phone, so they wiped around it. Then to top it off there was a roach on the toilet paper which they did not replaced with a new one and a roach that came out the sink hole when washin face. Ima just say you get wat you pay for.😔 i have pictures but it doesn't want me to upload them!

The floors had something sticky on them. Am guessing to protect the floor. But my 1 year old walk on it with socks on... and the socks got really dirty almost black

They just did not want to accept the fact that you could go online and get coupons I mean in the places not like super nice so you know coupons kind of help people out when they don't have a lot of money and it's not like it's a Ramada Inn or something I mean it was a little Rinky Dink run down Hotel and I mean they treated me not very good because I mean I stayed there for almost a month if not a little more and they were just every morning like banging on my door always ask me if I'm leaving today I'm leaving today I don't know it's just a weird situation but they were not nice to me at all

The room was very clean. Others had posted about roaches and i saw no sign of that at all. The bed was hard as a rock. The towels are microfiber. And the sheets were not big enough for the bed. You check in at a kiosk with someone on a screen. No human communication which is probably more efficient but sad. As you can tell by the picture the room needed much updating.

Hot water was never hot, not able to plug drain, rude front desk lady, bathroom exhaust fan did not exhaust steam, Wall AC was not adequately. I will not be staying here twice regardless of the price.

the clerk was horrible the bed only had 2 pillows calld to get 2 more the clerk was rude and unhelpful i only have 1 leg and he would not help me with the pillow situation so i walk to the office to get the other 2 pillows and he woukd only give me 1 for the price that was paid for 2 people in a bed that is king size shouldn't the staff be helpful enough to give 2 pillows per person ive been staying here for almost a week and this will be my last day here the service sucked and the clerk was a real piece of yea you kniw the word that does here plus he was a A hole.

Cleanliness of the room was terrible. I used to stay in this hotel frequently over the past 7 to 8 years, but it has gone down over the years. I usually stay at the front of the hotel, but due to low room availability they placed me in the back in a smoking room (which I don’t smoke). This room had several roaches in the room throughout the night and morning. There was not even an iron and ironing board to use in the morning. Unfortunately, will not be staying at this hotel going forward.

Honestly the room itself wasn't bad. It was clean, the bed was comfortable enough. The room itself smelled like an old fishtank overrun with algea, or musty pond water. We were woken up around 7am to the room next doors door being beat on by the police,and then as we were leaving after checking out there was more police presence going to another room. There were some questionable people loitering around the property as we were checking in as well. The vibe wasn't too family friendly, and I won't be back but it also wasn't the worst room.
