This is our second stay here, and we highly recommended it. Excellent accommodation. The breakfast offees a great selection. The staff are super friendly and very attentive. We will certainty be back. We ordered room service from the restaurant and the food was delicious!

The resort exceeded my expectations. The room was perfect, very spacious and well appointed. The hot tub was almost new and sitting in it looking out over a frozen morning garden was next level. The service from all members of the team impressed me as well. The food and drink quality surpassed expectations as well. Top Property.

The cottage was lovely. Perfectly appointed. Hot tub was great. They were running late with housekeeping so we were parked up waiting for them to finish. That may explain why the vacuuming missed a few things. Also they were servicing the hot tub and deck while we were there. Would have preferred that was also done prior to arrival to preserve privacy and enjoyment of lovely space.

The hotel is nicely located within a 15-mn walk to the center of martinborough but it is very outdated. It was probably very modern 20 years ago but it needs a remodel now. All the furnitures, both inside and outside the units, are old. Similarly the kitchen and bathroom are old and in need of a renovation. The breakfast is average at best. There is only bad drip coffee available for free, the toasts are sliced processed white bread instead of fresh bread, most fruits are canned, etc. The wifi is barely strong enough to make video calls and the staff is not very helpful either.

There is nothing I like about this place. It’s in the middle of nowhere in the flatlands with very plain vineyard to it’s side. There are no shops or eateries within easy reach. The staff and particularly the management are incredibly rude and indifferent to customer issues. The place shuts down at 6.30 pm and the service stops. Not what one expects from any hotel, let alone a $300 resort.

Fabulous place to stay and especially with other friends or a group of people. Receptionist was friendly and easy check-in and check-out and explained everything well. Rooms are lovely and spacious. This is a fabulous resort in a beautiful, peaceful vineyard setting. The room was so lovely and offered everything we needed, including a wonderful gas fire for a cold winter’s night. The spa bath was heavenly (as was the heated floor in the bathroom) and the kitchen was well-equipped. We loved the calm, natural colours and the view over the lake and farmland. Breakfast was delicious! A big thank you to the friendly, helpful, professional staff, all of whom contributed to our enjoyment of our visit. We will definitely be back.

Once again doesn’t let us down!! Great place!! Staff and really friendly and welcoming. Accommodation is great and only a 10 min walk into town with vineyards all around and two great wine tasting rooms on your door step. What more could you want?!

We last stayed here 2 years ago and it is every bit as good as it was then. I particularly love the deep spa bath, after coming in from a cold night out it was much appreciated. The gas fire is awesome too, so much more atmospheric than a heat pump (there is one of those as well). Buffet breakfast was brilliant.

When we arrived were told we had been upgraded to garden cottage at the end very quiet. It was very spacious seperate bedroom with spa in bathroom. Full kitchen with all you need. A short 5 minute drive to main part of town. Breakfast was cooked breakfast cereals and fruit. Only negative was no internet in cottage had to go to bar area.
