This was the worst experience of any place I’ve ever stayed. The area was all beautiful beach houses and then there was this motel. Like a crackhouse in the middle of a beautiful area. It was dirty. No parking. There was a broken down vehicle in the parking lot that has been there for a while, torn apart and getting worked on. They had car air fresheners hanging around the room to hide the porta potty smell. I took videos cause I don’t think anyone would actually believe how bad this place is. The guy checking us in had given away a room that the people in front of us booked to another party. Said “well, first come first serve I guess”. And then pointed to a sign on the wall behind him that said $100 cash deposit. We told him we weren’t paying that cause the website said all taxes and fees were included and he acted like he was doing us a favor when we wouldn’t pay it. Definitely a scam.

Do NOT book this place. As soon as I saw the place I said I wasn’t staying there. There was a car parked in the lot with the motor on the ground under it. It reminded me of what would be a crack hotel. Expedia should not be associated with this place.

Dude running the place was cool very laid back but professional, room was clean but small other than that not bad I would recommend.

Holy moly what the heck is this place. Bed bugs, broken toilet, bad smell, broken tv, broken lights. Staff weird and don’t take showers

It’s was like I stepped into crackhead city. The staff were all high on something and missing their teeth. The room was dirty and they were flies coming from the shower. Please go somewhere else

The staff was friendly but the property is not in good condition, they are doing repairs so there was a lot of noise and I had to leave the property the same day due to the noise

Worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Room floor was dirty, bathroom was dirty, too small, poor lighting, no toiletries. Given beach towels for bath towels. No coffee maker. No hotel ice. Bed spread and sheets had cigarette burn holes. Unsecure locking door. Pool looked dirty. Would never return. Was not worth what was paid. Hotels should remove this listing.

This place is horrible. DIRTY is not even the word, the bathroom is tiny and DIRTY! we had to shower wearing our flip flops. The towels arrived at 10pm!

OMG, this hotel is so gross, staff is ridiculous and rude, no security.. No lock on door, terrible parking, disgusting room, bed smelled like BO, trash and insects everywhere. Worst hotel ever. They should just tear down the building and start over..

When we first checked in there were no towels and no soap. We received two small thin towels and fortunately I had soap in my suitcase. Mops and pails lined the walkway.

The room was disgusting. The pillow case had blood on it, there was hair on the sheets (looks like it wasn’t even washed), mold in the bathroom, ashes on the window frame. The pool was green. Everything was dirty and run down. I didn’t even sleep in the room. I slept in my car.

The photos are not accurate at all. We had to go buy our own towels. Room was dirty but had no choice but to stay. Not enough parking for all rooms so we had to park 3 blocks away.

The owner himself was very nice. However, the property was absolutely disgusting. From the office to the outside of the building and into our room was horrible. I couldn’t even sit down in the room, I had to put my stuff back into the car and ask for a refund after being there for not even 15 minutes. I feel terrible because the owner was so nice but I do want to give my honest review on the room. We booked a single room and was told on arrival we couldn’t have a single because homeless people were being bused from NYC to stay in the rooms. The pool was green but the owner told us we could swim in it, that the levels were all fine. I guess I shouldn’t have expected much with the price but we were just passing there and thought we could grab a quick room just for the night. I had to also have 3 people back me into a parking spot in their lot because it was so small and the only on street parking was blocks away.

I knew when I booked that this would not be a 5-star experience but this was by far the WORST motel I've ever seen. The front desk guy Art, was chill as could be but clearly not fit to run a business. The front desk office was filthy, flies everywhere, a small dog sniffing around anyone who came in, and it was mustier and dustier than anything I'd ever experienced. I checked in against my better judgement because Art assured me that the room he gave us was partially newly renovated. Bruh!! They slapped some adhesive flooring over the horrible tile job in the bathroom. The makeshift tub was about 2ft x 2 ft, the sink was barely large enough to brush your teeth, the water pressure was horrendous and we had to use the bathroom with the door open because it didn't close properly. We literally rinsed off in the shower and wore our sandals because we refused to let our skin touch the floor. Ugh!! The bed comforter was stained, lamp was rusty and outdated, sheets had cigarette burns and the window curtain smelled like moth balls. Facility grounds? Lord have mercy!!!! The pool looked almost makeshift. There were about 5 or 6 broken lawn chairs, the floor of the pool was chipping, ground was cracked up, makeshift ashtrays out of old mason jars, abandoned mirrors and furniture from someones grandma's attic, and the pool area was taken over by the finest group of trailer park, hippie red necks you will ever meet. PS: the hotel is now a shelter so be prepared!!

It was the cheapest price listed so I knew it would acomplete dive, which is fine okay but the check in was a big ordeal the guy was late getting there then we get to the room it was not cleaned at all the sheets weren't even changed the floor was dirty and unswept we left him know got sheets and when we went to change the sheets there was glass all on the floor along the bed from a crack stem and there was resin all over it and there were crumbs and powder substance. I left the guy know about it. He reassured me it would get cleaned up. It never did!! We had to have a sheet on the floor the entire time. I offered to clean it up he said he would have someone come and do it but that never happened. I'm just grateful I didn't have my children for this trip!! Completely unacceptable!! When I brought it to his attention again he said that the owners would make me leave and not refund my money if I contacted them and made a complaint!! Buy the time I thought of taking a photo we had already put the sheet down worried about stepping on the glass so it's kind of scattered but you can still see some of it. Oh and the motel is nothing remotely close to the photos advertised on this website it's a completely trashed " it's under construction" it doesn't seem to be getting any work from what I was seeing it was just run down and not at all clean. Okay well it's not allowing me to upload my photos on here!!!

Stayed 2 nights for 4th of July. Art was very nice. We were told the washer just got fixed and we would be given bath towels later that night but never got any, parking was very hard to get and a far walk down the next road, and got no hand soap or barley any toilet paper left on the roll. But the motel was in close walking distance to the boardwalk which made our time enjoyable. The pool looked clean for the first half of the trip. Owner very chill and would recommend!

Art is always going above and beyond to help out and make you feel comfortable and welcomed. I stayed there last year, went again this year. If I go back again next year I'll still choose Flamingo. Art you are the best hotel manager I've ever met!

Property was rundown. Interior doors ( closet/bathroom) doors didn’t close. Room smelled terrible. Stale and old smoke. No towels in bathroom which in itself was a joke. No tissue or plastic cup. Nothing. Never again. Not worth it.

READ!! Honestly had to spend the night in the car. There were multiple types of bugs in the bed, food and garbage, vaping cartridges everywhere. No garbage can or towels in the room, probably due to the bugs. This was the only hotel available. Would have tolerated the food and garbage but could not risk bringing home bed bugs. Have been trying to get a refund but have not heard back yet. If you stay there, park on West Central Ave. You can park overnight and if you dont want bed bugs, you will sleep in your car overnight on West Central as we did.

We checked in this afternoon into room 16 and 19. We turned on the AC units and went to the boardwalk and Hooks bar for several hours. When we returned around 10:30 We had to say excuse me to go into our room 19 with our neighbors smoking cannabis outside our door in camping chairs. My daughter has severe asthma and I understand its legal as Art your manager stated however is unacceptable for him to tell me to ask them not to smoke as it’s legal and he cannot do anything. As guests we shouldn’t have to be exposed to this. We always check beds to ensure there are no bed bugs etc and there was dirt on top of the linen and in between the mattresses. There was a cupcake top behind the door, dirt on the edges of the wall and dirt on the floor (all of the which I have pictures of) I understand possibly stains on the bed but dirt on the sheets was pretty gross. My daughter literally started crying cause of the poor conditions. My brother’s room AC wasn’t working at all and there was hair in the tub with the curtains half off the hook. We left the property at 11pm and taking the drive back home without making our stop to wildwood tomorrow. I should have read the reviews but was looking for something close to the boardwalk and totally disappointed. The owner needs to personally visit this property and follow up! Only when we left was that someone must’ve told the neighbors in room 17 to turn off their speaker. I understand the hotel is old but you need to upgrade and CLEAN!
