Breakfast was so good, a lot of choices. Beach areas was not crowded. This place is good if you want privacy. The staff were very helpful and very courteous. Everytime i asked for complimentary water they bring it to my room right away. I would recommend this hotel.Over all my stay was pleasant.

The resort is a bit old. The staff are nice but they wouldn't help us do a late a checkout despite us paying the hotel a lot of money for transfer back to Manila when we could have paid one third the price. We expected a bit more premium service than this. Also if you ask for milk for your coffee in your room, you get charged for it!! A bit disappointed for a resort that claims to be 5 stars compared to other chains of hotels.

The staff are nice and warm and friendly. The room has balcony but you cannot see the view but the walls of the building in the back and some trees. No hot pools; the small pools only have bubbles; lounges and cabanas were reserved by towels always and no people. Lots of very friendly people but also lots of noise

Only thing I didn’t like is that it doesn’t offer room service breakfast. Your only option is to eat at the buffet. Even their Cafe menu options vs in shop is not the same.

As far as i have seen around Boracay it is one of the nicest places to stay and trust me there are only a few. Good ambiance, calm, almost secluded beautiful beach, good food options through out the day.. lush green grounds.. i can surely recommend it for a relaxing stay.

We had a lovely stay and the staff has been so kind and helpful. The food was amazing and we looked forward to breakfast everyday. The rooms were cozy and spacious and the housekeeping service was nice. The shuttles were super convenient and made it such a fun time in Borocay!

The location is top notch but food and service leaves a lot to be desired. Not what you would expect from the Movenpick group. Avoid every restaurant at all costs and head next door to the Shangri-La for your dinner.

Nice and good place

The grounds of the resort are amazing, the pool is great, the room is average however, we didn’t go there to stay in the room, we traveled as a group and we were asked to keep the noise down while on the beach because there was a private event happening, I thought that was ridiculous, we paid the same to be there and it was our vacation as well, we were having fun. We all tried to take advantage of happy hour at the outside bar, that last from 4-6, we waited 45 minutes for drinks, so after only two drinks, the happy hour was over. I would stay again, hopefully the next time things are a bit different.

Shuttle service is never available. They advertise free but forget to mention it’s never available. Restaurant prices are very high and half the servers are slow. The other half are very friendly.

The property, including the beach was lovely. It was a relaxing area. Getting tuk tuks was not always easy. sometimes coming back, tuk tuks did not want to take us later at night because they wouldn't get fares back into town.

I must stay same hotel again

Lovely hotel - family friendly and such friendly staff. Some elements of rooms could use a touch up and they need far better vegetarian and vegan options as they were almost none. No Movenpick ice cream was a big disappointment for the kids.

There was a minor inconvenience at check-in as the staff on site was overwhelmed with a large number of guests checking in at the same time, but they handled it with class! I commend Ish at the reception desk and the manager in duty, Jofed Fontanilla, for their hospitality, class and very helpful assistance. The staff was very nice, courteous and charming. Our room was clean, as was the hotel site, and the shuttle service to town is very well run. I strongly recommend this charming resort.

The staff at Mövenpick are lovely and accommodating. The room is standard. The common areas are a bit dated and for the price point would have expected a higher standard of quality. The service at the checkin/checkout and the spa areas were great. The restaurants seemed to be understaffed and the quality of food was not at the level we expected of a resort of this calibre.

Was nice beautiful beach staff very sweet but food not so good the Italian restaurant not good salty pizza burnt fish and over priced and slow .amd pasta soggy I don’t like to leave bad reviews but they need fix there food service other that amazing hotel .

Excellent service!

Resort is wonderful, room was very clean and had plenty of amenities. The only grip was the bed frame was a bit unbalanced so whenever you sat down the frame would creak and pound the floor.

No hot water for the shower. Otherwise good facilities. Out of stock on many wines. The Italian restaurant was out of tomatoes! Seriously?!

Service in restaurant was very poor , The staff have no idea what there doing staff was not manage properly in the restaurant, There many guest who not happy , Staff was not pay attention to us at all there bring us wrong drinks, very delay serving our orders ,,,, receptionist staff was very great and helpful and nice, but the restaurant staff I and Service are very poor...

Great beach, lovely beach cocktail bar, great breakfast, relaxing stay.

Hotel service is excellent but I didn’t like our island tour with the hotel. I paid 10k for two persons but I was not able to explore all the beaches and do the snorkeling because of the weather. Our tour guide was excellent but did not enjoy the tour because it was raining. The tour was for 3 hrs. We bought our own food, One hour was spent for eating, 10 minutes for snorkeling and rest is just waiting for our ride way back to the hotel.

The property was so very peaceful, clean and the staff was amazing. The food was ok. just 2 restaurants were avail besides the bar that serves food from the 2 restaurants.

Rooms are spacious and clean, however the fridge is empty, they leave a one liter of a bottle water for you which won't fit to the fridge so u can't have cold water unless u ask ice from the roomservice. Only brandless ground coffee is available in the room. For amenities like slippers, bath rope you have to ask. The ac unit is literally the balcony, so if you want to sit down and enjoy your balcony, u will be listening to the noise of the ac unit and bare the heat coming out of it. The hotel is somehow always noisy because of the kids or the noise of the genny. Food selection is alrite, service is fine, friendly and smiley staff members. Check-in and check out were smooth, we have been offered early breakfast because we were checking out around 5.00 a.m., but somehow, they forgot about it in the morning. I would not recommend any of the cocktails. Go for straight liquor or wine. There were a lot of kids during our stay, and they spent most of their time in the pool. Even at night, which means if you want to have dinner by the pool, they swim by u and splash, or their water ball can easily hit you or your food. There is nothing around in the walking distance, but the hotel offers regular bus service to the center. We also used their service to the airport, more logical than anything u might arrange online. If you are thinking of this place as a luxury resort, please don't. This is a regular resort. For luxury, try shangri-la next door.

Incredible experience top to bottom for my entire family! From my 3 kids under the age of 9 and the 3 adults, we were all blown away by the beauty of the property, the private beach access, the amenities (gym, pool), the spa, the kid’s center, the activities, the photo ops, and wow, the FOOD! Most importantly, the professionalism and kindness of every single worker on the campus was exceptional. We definitely plan to return. Thank you Movenpick!

The spa ambiance was evident. There's sufficient structure and nature ratio for people to go around in.

Staff was amazing and the property was beautiful- landscape was very nice, and beach was beautiful. Dining options were great. Breakfast buffet was amazing, and don’t forget chocolate hour. Quiet and away from the shops.

The staff was outstanding always had a smile on their face. No matter if it was early morning or late evening if you pass by any of the staff they will always greet you and speak to you. Really enjoyed my stay at the resort!
