Good stay

The hotel is in a great location - walking distance from train and central to most sites, shopping, and restaurants. Now has 24/7 reception, too. Room was spacious.

The apartment was tired looking, needed refreshing. Fresh paint. Had a few issues upon arrival, water turned off on washer, tv unplugged, WiFi was down. Bathroom shower leaked. A little frustrating after paying for the “penthouse “

Location is excellent. We stayed in the Penthouse Suite; lovely views. Room itself extremely poor, lots of things need fixing. Light in the bathroom not working. Toilet roll holder loose. The water was pouring out of the shower all over the bathroom floor. We used the parking and it was great, spaces a little limited for an apartment complex this big. We damaged our front bumper on the curb outside as the curb was crooked, so be aware of that. We complained about all these issues and Urban Residences had the nerve to refuse to provide any sort of compensation or any gesture of goodwill. I raised these points with the reception staff as well who couldn’t have cared less, which was disappointing. I’ve stayed here many times before, in practically all of their available types of rooms; studio, family studio, large 2 bed, penthouse but I’ll never stay here again cause the way they responded to all my complaints is totally unacceptable.

Friendly staff

We had many problems or delays getting into the parking lot, there was no shampoo in the room, the curtains were dirty and 1/3 employees spoke Spanish which according to their page was common. They did not give access cards but a simple key... I felt a little unsafe

This is a very dingy, run down property. While it is a modern building, there is NO air conditioning! I was told the building never had it. This is insane, since the building is a glass box, which even on a mild day, 60F, will be boiling like a greenhouse. Impossible to sleep. Had to keep the windows open with all night street noise.

Cleaning was not great. No AC. Ok apartment

My second stay there after visiting Paris and Brussels. Room is tidy and clean. However shower room outlet was faulty - water outlet is choke and waste water discharge was very slow. The engineering guy did look into it but problem was not rectified.

Spacious room with basic kitchen amenities. Clean and tidy but no daily house keeping.

The place is really great, very well located and close to everything. A very friendly staff; always willing to help and provide support. Although it is in the city center, if we closed all the windows we could not hear the outside noise. Very good sound sealing. The unit we stayed lacked some maintenance (like cold water in the restroom tap), but overall we were happy with the hotel.

We loved this hotel. Beautiful courtyard entry, restored tram barn was charming, historical. Restaurant for breakfast offered an exceptional buffet and made to order option. All staff were very kind and customer service was fabulous! Beautiful atrium area with natural light and comfortable seating.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Property is good but there is a terrible odor in the bathroom. Asked for housekeeping to look into this problem twice. The first time, we were not in so don't know what was done, the odor was reduced but the odor came back the next day. We reported again a few days later, the "technical" came, we were told there is nothing that can be done, and that the plumbing system is old. We were told to run the hot water to flush the drain for two hours. That helped for a few hours, then the odor came back. During check out, we provided feedback to property management, we were told that "some" units have this odor problem. We should have asked to change unit, however, this option was not mentioned to us when we complained about the odor (twice). To future patron - ask to change unit if there is odor problem. We feel that this is a health hazard, odor is from rotting organic matter accumulated in the plumbing or from mold. Either are not healthy. The property management admitted that it is a know problem yet the odor remains. We are not happy.

The modern decor and location.

Amazing property at a central location close to all bars, attractions, food and shopping. We made it our base for covering rest of Netherlands minus Amsterdam. Close to the train station and the property is large with ample room for the entire family. The views were great and the suite had everything we needed.

I would give this property 5 stars, however, my room's kitchen was missing utensils: I had only 2 cups for drinks, one fork, and I was missing spoons and knife. No sharp knives, no paper towel, or paper tissues, I bought them at local grocery stores. Otherwise, it is centrally located in shopping district and close to everything. Property is safe, great views from balcony, clean, nice attentive staff.

This was a great studio little with excellent options for transport, restaurants and shopping close by

Cute property. No perks to being VIP. The studio was nice but very cold. Towels were changed daily but coffee pods weren’t replenished and trash wasn’t taken out.

I stay at Urban residences every 2 weeks for work. It is by far more relaxing to stay in a studio rather than have to stay in a hotel. The space you get is generous (although a little too warm for me). Everything is clean & although some areas may be in need of a little refurbishment, it is perfectly fine. The staff are very helpful on the rare occasions I have an issue. If you don't need or want to be waited on hand & foot & want the independence to eat what & when you want in your own space - this is the place to come.

The apartment was incredibly spacious, modern and with amazing views from the huge windows, that ran the length of both sides of the corner apartment. Everything we needed was provided and we had a very comfortable stay. I'd recommend this property.

Very good central location, clean and comfortable. Close to station, supermarket and shopping. Decor slightly tired - peeling paint etc but overall still excellent. Full kitchen but no microwave.

This is a great option. It’s a bigger space and same price as a single room in other hotels. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel.

Room and location were great. Elevators kind of slow. No acknowledgment of Expedia vip perk.

The location and apartments were amazing and great value for money right beside all shops and 10 min walk from rail station.even burning at your door step if need a quick snack.the old harbour is also just over 10 mins walk away

I can echo the many reviews mentioning the spectacular view and the perfect location in the city. However, I can also echo the many reviews mentioning the filthy condition inside. The apartment (No. 216) definitely needs refurbishing and some proper cleaning, see photos attached (welcome brochure contained half a cigarette, under the beds there was rubbish and dust, the living room lamp was not properly fixed, the shower head in the shower fell off, there was mold in the bathroom etc.). The receptionist(s) tried to be helpful and some items were addressed during our stay. As a little compensation for our complaints, we were not charged the parking fee for two nights. Nevertheless, I am quite disappointed that this apartment was rented out in that condition. Having read through other reviews (after our stay), I would not be surprised if this review will be commented by Urban Residences along the lines "apologies for the inconvenience and we hope you will have a better experience next time" but I would rather suggest they take some serious action instead of apologising for something that needs urgent attention.
