The people working in the hotel are very nice and helpful. To have a great golf course around the corner is great. The animation team is weak, very seldom bech volley or water polo etc is happening, looks like they are more concentrated on the activities after dark, a pity if you want to have an active holiday

What I liked: the oceanfront room was exactly as advertised; beautiful stepping out to the porch and watching the ocean. The room was decent and comfortable. The water pressure and hot water was great. The size of the property is amazing, multiple pools, cleaned daily. The interior of the hotel, the reception area, all very nice. The hotel also has a waterfall, garden feature. Plenty of beach beds. The afternoon tea was unexpected and great, really helped me to manage my meals. The massage was blissful. I enjoyed a lot of the features of the hotel.
What I didn’t like: People complained about the monkeys but my issue was the flies. I don’t get why the hotel wouldn’t have fly catchers and repellants at the restaurant and around food. You’d find flies in the syrup and flies consistently buzzing around food. The internet was just okay but not very stable. The hotel needs a wifi booster. The hotel also isn’t very accommodating with outside food. They won’t warm it for you and there were no microwaves in the room. That wasn’t very cool.
It’s a good enough hotel but working on the flies and Internet would be very good. And microwaves in premier rooms like oceanfront rooms would be good.

Very nice place to stay for adults.

Everything in this place is above and beyond except the housefly in the restaurant. We had to continuously fight against flies to eat our breakfast. I would like to thank the whole team for giving my dad a wheelchair and wheelchair accessible room.

Hotel is a bit run down. The setting and the beach are beautiful though. The beds were unfortunately quite uncomfortable

As stated in the title the hotel is attached to a golf club. The course is very pleasant, and has some challenging holes. The hotel overall must be due a good spring clean and a lick of paint.Certainly the shower in my room needed a good scrub down with bleach or a similar cleaning agent. Flip flops were definitely used every time I showered! The yellow brown stains on the grout weren’t the most reassuring! The staff are all extremely helpful and always have time to make you at home. Top marks to Gladys in the restaurant, who is always helpful and welcoming, always on top of her job.I stayed on a bed and breakfast basis, so only had breakfast food on this stay. A few times I found that the set up first thing in the morning was slack. For example no milk set out, no boiling water for tea, no tea cups. Nothing big, but annoying when you have an early tee time booked, and have to wait around for it to be sorted out. Simple every day routine, let down by a lack of supervision of the food staff. If you are intending to play golf this hotel is the one to choose! The prices are reasonable, the hotel is fairly comfortable, the golf course is a short stroll from the hotel. You must have a caddy, who will use a trolley to tow your clubs, all told Kes1000. Cheap as chips! There are plenty of sun loungers, and beach towels are readily available. The pool is well maintained and cleaned of leaves every morning. There is a pool side bar.The beach is a real pleasure.

This is my second time staying at Leisure. The place is pure paradise.Pros: * Right on the beach.* Paradise views.* Spacious rooms with balconies or patios overlooking the pool or beach.* Friendly staff. * Great buffet with dinner entertainment.* Onsite Spa.*Good security.Cons: * TERRIBLE INTERNET CONNECTION.* Way to many monkeys running around that are very disturbing. They kept jumping up on the balconies and patios taking peoples belongings. One even jumped on my leg when I was walking by. This apparently seems to be a commom problem with many of the hotels within the area and is not exclusive to Leisure.

We all enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.
The rooms were very clean and presented just as we imagined. The food was very good, buffet breakfast and dinner was something to look forward to, all variety of dishes and plenty of fruits and vegetables to eat.
The resturant had a show to entertain us at dinner time, which the whole family was looking forward to. I say family, because it was my wife and i, plus her adult sisters and their mum. 5 of us.

This hotel is on the best Beach in Mombasa/Diani. It is on the beach and the golf course is across the road. The service staff is excellent. It has started to look a bit tired but still in excellent shape. The hotel offered breakfast which was very good. It also served evening dinner which catered for mixed type of guests. The meat tended to be slight over cooked, but a lot of food was cooked in front of you and I could tell the chef to leave it slightly rare.Be prepared to see monkeys around the place despite several security boys with a catapult to scare them.

Great hotel! The room was spotless, the staff was helpful and went above and beyond. The hotel is on a great stretch of beach. The food was fantastic as well. Overall a darn near perfect experience! The only thing that confused me was that some parts of the hotel seem abandoned or like they're not longer in use. The property is enormous and I wandered around using the map (probably outdated). Some parts of the hotel didn't appear to be in use although they were still labeled as such on the map. This is just a neutral observation really; my experience at this hotel was outstanding.

The beach is fantastic and so are the numerous pools around the vast compound. The food quality and variety was very good. The staff are friendly and attentive. The only downside is that there is a bit of a walk down steps to get to the beach, so not suitable for the physically challenged (no ramps or lifts).

Great beach location, friendly staff however the property is dated and in dire need of a revamp

The service was absolutely amazing. The view from the hotel was also great. It’s a beautiful collaboration between God and the wisdom of man.

The food is terrible, is barely eatable! no much variety.
The service, especially the receptionist, was rude and careless. 20 min to have coffee at breakfast.
No even think to go in low season!

Location was stunning on the Indian Ocean. Palm Trees and white sand. Resort was worthy of its 4 Stars with an adjoining Golf course. Food was extremely well cooked by the Chefs and Staff were friendly.

The situation by the ocean is superb but entertainment caters for the over 60’s European tea dancing market so there was no Traditional or contemporary African entertainment. Our first Garden room was dirty with lizard poo so we moved to a sea view room we had originally booked. Cleaner. Staff friendly & generally helpful. Maximum 3 star. It is a 1970’s property that is badly in need of renovation. Beach was clean & beautiful. Beware of a long ferry crossing to Diani beach if you arrive after 3 pm. Easy trip on way back to catch SGR train to Nairobi. Pay the extra for 1st Class & take some food. Saw some elephants from the train.North Coast is better. Mombasa has been cleaned up a bit. Hotel food adequate but overpriced for what the hotel offers. Despite the above we had a relaxing three days

Nice food.
Mohamed is been so helpful for us. He is really nice and professional.

Beautiful view. Staff is friendly but very slow service. The buffet food was good but always the same every day. Wifii not so good. Spa is great. Very good facials, etc.
