Amazing service. Amazing staff. Just top tier all the way around.

It was GREAT. From pulling up to the valet, checking our baggage, checking in to evening turndown service, everything and everyone was top notch. We arrived hours before our check in time and our room was ready!! Thos hotel.is terrific.

The hotel is lovely. Room service was subpar given the price. Also, one day my room was not made up despite having the service button on nearly all all day.

Read great reviews, checked in looked over the beds to discover dirty linen. Spent over a half hour sitting around for this to be done.

My partner and I have not been on vacation in years. When I got the opportunity to plan one I wanted to make sure it was the absolute best. I chose The Langham based on the reviews and so I could stay somewhere I never have before. The concierge was welcoming and helpful on our first night with directions to the places we wanted to visit first. The front desk were courteous throughout our entire stay. The room was beautiful. My main thing with cleanliness is making sure the sheets are clean, the bed is good, and the towels and bathroom are clean, which all appeared so once I inspected. The pillows were a little weak. My man and I woke up with a twinge in our necks after the first night but I was so excited and ready for the next day, I didn't pay attention to it once we got back out there. The second night was a little better but I think it was because I was used to it. After so much adventure and walking it was a cozy place to come back to and settle in. I called it home every time I spoke on it. My only issue is on the second day when we came back after breakfast the room door was cracked open. We double checked it was closed as usual when we left, and made sure the 'no service' light was on. The security claimed they reviewed the video and didn't see any one open it, but it makes no sense for a door to open by itself. Nothing appeared to be taken but the event had me anxious for a few hours before we went back out. I didn't want it to ruin my vacation. In all, it was great

Olga at the front desk upon checkin was very nice. So were the bellmen both arriving & leaving. As always the rooms were superb. One problem: I was told at checkin that the restaurant opened at 6:00 AM only to find that it was 6:30 AM. In that we had an early flight out of Midway there was no way to use the $40/person Expedia food credit. Otherwise, still Chicago's best hotel, hands down!.

The Langham Chicago is one of my most favorite hotels and this stay was no exception. What I will say is that the hotel is starting to show its age in a few places and needs a refresh. Examples: (1) Spa - wet sauna: the containment of the system is cracked, stained and steam is coming out of the sides where the seals have failed. It needs to be replaced. There is significant rust and some broken tiles; (2) not in my suite, but my friends, One of their sinks was cracked from side to side also the tables were nicked, scratched, etc. and this was in the suites. This is the same decor as we've seen for nearly a decade and it just needs to be refreshed/redone. The staff is fantastic and the cleanliness is really excellent. Best cocktails in the bar/lounge.
