Slightly quirky vintage motel that has been well cared for and is still enjoyable in the 21st century. Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff, even though not always on site, are still very attentive to your needs via electronic means. Internet was great. This was my second stay and I will do so again.

Worst excuse for a mattress ever. Terribly uncomfortable. Like a marshmallow. No support. Sank in so bad I moved to the floor. The room was clean and the towels were nice. But sleep, ha!

We had two rooms for two nights. Our friend in the second room had to leave early for an emergency at home. Despite missing the deadline to cancel without penalty, the owners worked with us to get a full refund and were amazingly accommodating! We had requested a room with two beds, and we actually had two rooms sharing a bath. They have lots of “cowboy decor.” The drive from Escalante to Boulder is spectacular, and the Hell’s Backbone Grill in Boulder is exceptional!!! Pricey, but gourmet with incredible food and service. Plan an early dinner so you can drive home during daylight as the road is curvy, but oh so scenic!!!

It's hard to give a good rating when the coffee makernhas a used filter. The bed was very high, making it hard to get i to. It had a box speing, matrress, and a four inch piece of foam on top of that. The sheet would not stay on and the foam made your body roll to the edge unless ypu were in the middle of the bed. Overall the room was dingy. We had to pull away nightstands to plug in long extension cords to make the nightstand light work There were NO tissues in the room. We had to bring tissues from our car to use. There WAS a paper towel dispenser in the bathroom Why, we don't know. Adjacent was a posted note warning about a delicate sewage waste system asking folks to be careful and not flush tissue, etc Go figure. The AC worked well. The shower got us clean. The toilet flushed.

This is a great place to stay with very comfortable beds and plenty of room to spread out your stuff. The bathroom was small but the shower was large. Our sink needed the faucet fixed so that was the only negative at all. I loved the location and the bed was perfect.

First, no one in office. It's self-check-in. Not that big of deal, but this isn't no Airbnb. Bed was terrible. Sore back each morning and felt like laying in a hole. No Kleenex, no ice (have to go to a gas station in front of the motel just for a small bucket. They charge you for anything more. Clean, rustic, Could use some remodeling.

Our staff person (Ethan) was very friendly and gave us useful information about the town of Escalante and our hotel room. The room had a very homey feel to it with a personal touch, which made it nice. Prices were quite reasonable for Escalante.

Just stayed for one night randomly on a longer road trip. The hotel was clean and reminded me of the old motor inns along route 66 and route 50. The cowboy aesthetic was on point as well.

The decor was so charming; I loved it. My room appeared clean and I felt safe. The quiet was amazing; I didn't need to run the fan. There's a microwave, mini-fridge, and in-room coffee. Yes, I would stay here again.

I’ve ived in Las Vegas for 44 years and worked in two major strip resorts for 16 years. I’d rate my room at Cowboy Country Inn higher than any room on the Las Vegas Strip. Almost like being in your own bedroom at home.

The Cowboy Country Inn was a perfect stop on our way to Bryce Canyon. Located right in Escalante. You can walk to all amenities.

Small room, It would be good for hikers, we expected more. I guess we are comparing it to a bottom of the line Best Western. Bottom line we expected more. The manager was very nice and friendly. The rooms still had keys, yes the old metal keys. The bathroom counter top was SMALL, No complimentary breakfast, No coffee in the office.

I really liked the way. It was decorated in cowboy style. Everything was perfect clean. It was old-fashioned country style! It was all very fresh looking not a detail was left out. I'm very comfortable and love the way I can park right in the front. Easy self check-in I will definitely be returning. Thank you so much.
