I had arranged a taxi to take me from the airport to the hotel. However, it never arrived. The hotel had lost the reservation. I had a 1am arrival so it was very inconvenient - and reception wouldn’t assist when I called them. Throughout my visit the reception staff were the epitome of service with a snarl. The food in the restaurant was extremely poor. First night. I was there I had to eat rice and vegetables for which £22 is excessive. Do not recommend.

Starting the with good things. The location is good on the Dakar plateau, the breakfast was good especially for being in Africa. It’s nice with a pool even though it’s rather small. On the bad side the service was extremely slow and they had a hard time understanding what we were asking for. The beds were really hard and so was the pillows. I would say it’s a bit too expensive in regard to delivery.

The staff were friendly and the food was excellent. The shower water sprays on the floor and one needs two towels daily. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. I stayed for one week and I highly recommend it.

Room is fair and great food. However, service is sometimes extremely slow. The air conditioner was not working in my room and it took 1.5 hours for engineer to come.

If you have really been to West Africa, this hotel will feel truly luxurious. There were some minor faults: the tile in the room was one centimeter lower than the tile in the bathroom (I stubbed my toe a couple times.), one of the elevators was slow... I guess that is about it. The staff was always helpful, polite, and attentive. The hotel is worth the price, but eat out, there is more adventure in that.

Rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained and the staff is kind and cheerful. The rooftop pool area was a quiet haven in the midst of a bustling city. We very much enjoyed our stay at Le Ndiambour and will definitely return.

Well located in the middle of downtown Dakar. Very safe part of town. Walking distance from shops and restaurants. Nice swimming pool. Amenities were functioning well, including wifi. Good restaurant.

Nice hotel in the heart of Dakar - within walking distance to museums, galleries + the ferry to Goree. Lots of restaurants nearby as well. The hotel service was good and rooms comfortable. They had a good breakfast buffet each morning and everyone was kind and courteous. I did not speak French but the hotel front desk was able to help me in English.

I recommend staying at Ndiambour! The things I like best were the great customer service and friendly staff, good food, and nice location. It's located right in town close to shopping and gives you a feel for Dakar. There was a mix of travelers at the hotel, and it had a very local feel. It's good to support a Senegalese owned business too! My feedback I gave the hotel is they could do a little maintenance work to update some of the rooms (paint, etc.)

We had a junior suite. The furniture was old and the bathroom door was not working well. Above all, the room was not clean and when we got to bed, we found a blood stain on the bed linen so we had to call to get it changed. I think the room was just not cleaned. They made efforts on the cleaning the day after. Furthermore, although most people at the reception were nice, we had to deal with a few rude people and at night, we had a wake up call at 3am by mistake. Overall, i am unhappy about my stay

We stayed at this hotel for only two nights. We were in Dakar for a wedding. The room was not clean at all. The bottom and the shelves of the closet had hair and dust. The floors in the bathroom were sticky. We asked for additional towels and were told that we could only get two since we were two occupants in the room. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone hoping for a 4-star hotel. This would be a 2-star hotel in Europe or the US.On top of that, the staff was not friendly when we asked for the room to be cleaned and for additional towels. We never got more than two towels.
