Friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are large and clean, although lighting is insufficient. The spa was wonderful, although it was a little weird having it right in the bedroom. A wild animal park. It is part of the complex. I didn't take advantage of that, but they do offer a 50% discount to hotel guests, and supposedly you get to pet the animals and feed them with baby bottles. For folks who like that kind of thing it is an added bonus. Kids will love it, I think. For me, however, the price was right. An added bonus is its proximity to Fallingwater, Frank Lloyd Wright's iconic masterpiece.

Great place to stay. We're already planning our next trip! The attached Zoo was an extra treat. Staying there, we got 50% off our tickets and it was free for the rest of our stay! The atmosphere and decor made our stay comfortable and cozy. The binder in the room was full of information about the surrounding area. Dining, fast food, historic adventures, wineries, stores, etc. Including directions, phone numbers, and a short summary about it. Affordable price especially when compared to surrounding hotels.

Such a nice and unique property. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were nice and large. Super clean as well. Plenty of padking space, and areas outside as well to sit and relax. Was an amazing room for the price

Great rooms!

We used the log cabin lodge for an overnight stay on our road trip around Eastern USA. Staff were friendly and helpful at check in and check out. We didn’t use any other facilities during our stay just the room. The room itself didn’t disappoint and as expected was in the style of a log cabin so different to other overnight stays during our road trip. The room was clean and had everything we needed for our overnight stay to be comfortable.

This was such a cute property. It has an animal park with all sorts of wildlife there. Mrs. Jody was super kind to my children and let them help her feed some baby animals. The honeysuckle unit was very helpful to our family. The kids were able to get some sleep while we stayed up. Overall it was a good experience at a very nice price.

We are sad we couldn’t take advantage of the zoo but it was a great stay.

Pleasantly surprised by the big room and high ceilings. Dated but clean and cozy. A little bit of smell from the surrounding zoo when outside but the room didn't have that.Would stay there again.

I stayed one night just so I could visit Fallingwaters. It was worth it.

This area was really nice. We are already planning another trip back to this area! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and stocked well with towels and extra pillows and blankets.

Loves the zoo and the Amazon animal exhibit onsite! Unique and fun. Rooms were clean, beds comfy. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We were pleasantly surprised to find such an authentic lodge with nice and cozy interior. Everything was thought through. Check in was quick and we felt welcomed, the room was clean, felt fresh, comfortable, had everything we needed. A nice touch - complimentary bottled water (yes! Not all hotels provide it for free these days), toiletries and a lot of towels, fridge, microwave, coffee maker. This was above and beyond for the price we paid. Air conditioner was a huge plus as it was very hot outside, and the unit was quiet, an unexpected plus :) The lodge is close to a lot of parks where you can do stargazing and the Wright's famous Falling Waters property, which was the purpose of our stay. We will definitely stay there again if we travel through the area.

Great staff and very clean! We had not been there since our children were younger, probably 15 years and we loved the updated rooms

It was very peaceful. We were without internet service at the end of the stay, but we managed. I did not like that other guests were smoking stinky weed outside that came into the room when the door opened. It was very soundproof. Other guests had children and never heard them as they played outside.

We came for breakfast, expedia says there is breakfast, but there is none. It is 10:30 pm so we are staying but this is very unfortunate and upsetting.

First stay was AMAZING. Came back a week later the kids liked it so much. Stayed awake all night watching mice play. Nobody at the front desk even answers until after 9 AM. Their solution was to bring me mouse traps yes. No offer to refund my room after me and my children stayed up all night. No offer to make things right. Was stuck there a second night, since it was already paid for on an online app. Second morning there the handle broke off the shower stall so me and the kids all had to take cold showers. Could use major TLC as well as a trained staff and people to answer calls. It’s a hotel for goodness sake. Convenience of the animal park next-door is amazing. If only they would get these rooms clean, I would love to go back. I feel like my whites stay should have been refunded without my asking yet I did ask and was NOT.

Our room smelled like animal urine from the ‘zoo’ on the property that people must have tracked in on their shoes. There was mold in the hot tub jets. We could hear all our neighbors.

Overall this was a nice place, but we have stayed in nicer places for less money. I was disappointed that my feet got dirty just walking on the floors.

Love the place beautiful

The rustic decor in the room was charming. This motel/lodge was part of an animal park. The cages were clean, not spacious, but as adequate as most zoos. The animals were well cared for. Families came with their children. The balcony needed to be power washed. It was dusty. The stairs need another hard rail, and their surfaces were uneven. But the room was immaculate.
