Super cute, nice inn..rooms are very spacious. My only complaint was that the beds are firm so if you prefer a more soft top bed then it might be uncomfortable

Needed a place to stay for a wedding and all the hotels were book. Found this gem of a motel. Clean and slept well. Would stay again.

Everything was fine, there was a stain in the toilet sit, that makes it look dirty, they should replace it, it gives a first bad impression, the person at the front desk could be a bit more courteous, other that that all good.

We stayed here one night for our anniversary. We played golf at Abbey Springs, which is close to FVI. We had dinner in Williams Bay, which was also nearby, making it all very convenient.
The room was clean and spacious, perfect for our needs, except the shower head was loose/leaking and water sprayed onto the bathroom floor (simple fix?).
We would definitely stay here again.

It was very convenient for a wedding we were attending. Clean and quiet. Friendly staff.
The rooms are a little dark but otherwise had everything we needed for a weekend.

Overall it was fine for one night. However my niece’s bed linens had not been changed as there were black hairs all over the sheets. Gross!!! The room was clean otherwise and quiet. We literally were in the room for about 13 hours so it was okay. Fridge and separate freezer area were good for our leftovers. The price was good for what we got but she had to sleep on top of the sheets—luckily she brought a blanket with her to cover up with. The outlets in our room were loose so we had to plug things into the lamp across the room. Not sure if we would stay again.

Affordable, clean and safe. We were very happy with the cleanliness of this hotel. If you are in lower level, you can hear ppl on the floor above you. Otherwise, we were satisfied with the cleanliness of this hotel room and will definitely stay again.

Bad weather postponed our Saturday (2 nites) trip to Lake Geneva. I called in Saturday AM and the woman on the call told me no problem changing he date to Sunday (for 2 nites) The woman at the front desk was the very one I talked to on the phone when we arrived. She insisted I pay for the late cancellation and claimed she never received my call.
She told me she would charge me for rescheduled reservation as well if I left without paying both.
VERY unprofessional and un-business like. I feel I was scammed.

They stiffed me with a charge for a rescheduled booking when I arrived; and claimed they never talked to me the morning before.
This was a lie.
The woman I was talking with was the same who cleared me for the delay.
They had virtually no guests when I arrived Sunday at 3PM
Hence the 2 Stars, I suppose.

Nice clean place. Room size was nice and the room rates were nice as well. For the amount of time we spent in the room, mainly to sleep and and take breaks during visit this worked perfectly. We would definitely stay here again. Close too many places we wanted to visit and eat at.

Bedding would be better, found some stray hairs on sheets that didn’t belong to me. Room could use some updates but overall quiet stay.

It was extremely quiet even though it was on a busy road. The owners were very sweet. I stayed for 2 weeks and decide to extend it another week. It was great.

It was a decent place! Not too expensive! Could be a little cleaner! I’m a housekeeper if 20 years so I notice things! The bathroom door is filthy! As well as the stainless steel toilet paper holder and towel rack! The lamps shades are extremely dirty and dusty!

The Village Inn is a very nice family run Motel close to the city of Lake Geneva and very close to the western part of Geneva Lake (Williams Bay). We have stayed there several times over the last couple of years and during that time the owner(s) have completely renovated the building. If you are looking for a swimming pool, hot tub, or exercise room, this is not the place to consider. If those features are not important to you, consider staying here. Looking forward to our next visit in early May.

It was very clean, the staff were very friendly!

Very dirty room. I woke up to bed bugs crawling on me and when investigating the bugs, stepped in vomit on the carpet. It was dark, but when I used my phone light, I could see vomit on the carpet, splashed on the wall and on the side of the bed.
The woman at the front desk was nice and understanding of our issue and said it must have been the last guests. However I feel I have to write a review with how dirty and gross the room was.
We left quickly so the nice location didn't stand out as much.
I hope this was an isolated incident and they can correct their cleaning routine.
