Just not what the pictures portrayed - we knew it looked older but pictures showed nice looking rooms and ours was not. And A/C unit was so loud we couldn't sleep with it on, but it was warm so slept terribly with it off. No staff onsite. Dusty dresser. Milk left in fridge from previous guest. Not a good night.

There was mold in the bathroom. the motel is located across the street from a trailer park and there was rowdiness and what sounded like belligerent drunks in the middle of the night: also there was no actual staff on site in case of an emergency. the rooms had no phones.

Promise a queen bed- not, full size and very uncomfortable. Internet inadequate. Couldn’t get into an online meeting. Lighting was horrible, had to use my flashlight to read. Shower only. Floor had dirty streaks as did a small round table in the room.

The property required to go to 2 places to get the key. The manager was not cooperative and the flexibility of check in is bad. The sink in the room was leaking, the towels were used and dirty. No Tissues/ Toilet paper. Lights not working. Trash is still full on arrival. The bathroom was very dirty and clearly used. Seat was dirty and had hair. TV Does not work. Wifi does not work.

We always have a Wonderful time when we go to Bishop, CA. And we always seem to stay and use the Management of Trees Motel. This time we stayed at El Rancho Motel. Unfortunately, we were going to arrive very late so I notified Management. Manager after closing, drove over to my motel to leave keys for me so when I arrived. And as always satisfied with the Beautiful airy room we stayed in!

Traveling with family of 6 and two dogs. Small house was perfect for our needs. Pick up the key at other location 2 min away, so it wasn’t a problem. Staff friendly. We appreciated having some cooking utensils, coffee, salt and pepper. The area wasn’t the best but once you were inside it was okay.

Room was not ready for check-in time of 3:00pm. The room was finally ready around 4:00pm. This caused us to be late to our family event that started at 4:30pm. Linen was very stained. Bathroom toilet not cleaned properly. Housekeeping needs to focus on details when cleaning rooms.

Quaint, rustic, and campy. And very clean and affordable. Friendly staff. They do spread themselves a little thin covering two different motels at the same time, but they were really nice. I walked over to the Main Street in a few min. I liked the location, but some might not like the neighborhood. Will definitely stay again.

There was an issue with the sink. They offered to move me right away but I was too exhausted and had already unpacked. I could hear the people next door so it made me feel self-conscious but normal for an older property. Not a reflection on the owners. They were amazing and the room was clean and the bed comfy.

We didn’t stay at el rancho as it didn’t look like a safe motel. We stayed at their other property which was safer. Staff were helpful. the condition of the property is not great but Ok for one night.

It is a great place to stay if you're just passing through or you're a very low-maintenance kind of person who wants a bed and quiet. The staff was nice and accommodating. It is a bit hidden from the main street, but it's very quiet. The rooms are simple, which I love! I will definitely stay here again!

The room I stayed in had a broken heater. It did not heat up at all. I'm only writing this review to notify the staff. I've stayed at this motel in the past several times and never really had issues until this last time.

It started when we got an email saying that we would need to check into another property and not at the hotel we were staying at. So we went to the other property and there was no one there, just a hand written note to call someone. So we did and checked into the other hotel. There was a car that looked like someone was living in, and a family checking out. We went to our hotel and there was no one there at all. No one else was staying in the hotel. Then we see the car had followed us to this location, he apparently was the handy man. The room did not even have a privacy lock and could be entered with just a key. I found no information about wifi and so we called to get it, literally no one knew what the passcode was. At that point we left and found another place to stay.

We booked this motel and arrived at the location at 6:30 p.m. The place was dark not a single car in the parking lot and the sign NO VACANCY lit the office/reception closed. we called and nobody answered.

I try never to leave a bad review but... Small amount of toilet paper left on roll with an already used roll on the back of the toilet; no soap whatsoever! Towel bar loosely hanging on wall and bath cloths and towels left on kitchen table. Disposable blanket/sheets, wth???

This is an older, well maintained motel away from the main highway. It's in a quiet, safe neighborhood, easy to see the mountains and the stars. A manager lives on site. Very friendly folks!

Faucet handle broken, one lamp not working no bulb. Heater not working. Floor dusty. Toilet bowl need to be replaced. A young man knocked on our door and looking for a female who occupied our room before us.

I arrived about 7pm and knew to check in at The Trees Motel thanks to the previous emails I received. I was greeted by Christine (sorry if I got your name wrong) who was very friendly. Check in was easy and she even drove over with me to the motel. The room was comfortable and clean. Very quiet and a little off the main street so no traffic noise. I travel with my dog and this motel was pet friendly. I would stay here again.

The place was not clean, the room smelled bad. The key had to be picked up at another Motel a few blocks from the place. But I am thankful for the receptionist who sent a person to clean. The guy had a great attitud and left the room smelling really good!! The property is old, but the people working there were really nice and I am thankful for their cooperation.
