Teba house has been a beyond perfect place to rest my head while in Ubud. The bed is comfy, sheets are good quality and clean, the location is perfectly central (3-7 min walk to any restaurant or yoga studio), and overall is a true gem. My room had great natural light I found myself extending my stay from 6 days to 12, as I couldn’t bring myself to leave. The host was very accommodating, from bringing fresh towels and cleaning the room, and even helped with antiseptic when I got into a motorbike accident. The garden is beautiful, with birds and hanging flowers throughout. It’s a little sliver of peace in the heart of all the bustle. Couldn’t recommend it more!

Rooms are not cleaned on daily basis. The tub and toilet are dirty. Bed sheets are not changed unless you ask for them. Several days the hot water is not there.

The host was nice but the room was filthy (stains on the bed sheets, hairs, ants, dust, spider webs). Quite hot to sleep in there witha fan and no AC. Not great money for value at all.

Our stay here started out positively, but ended poorly. Unfortunately, there was a misunderstanding with an extension we made on our stay, due to language difficulties with the staff at reception. The manager then got involved and essentially berated and demeaned us to try and get us to pay for an extra room to resolve the mistake. He was mocking and condescending, and it made the situation very uncomfortable. In the end, the hotel could be, but there were a number of other issues worth mentioning. Wifi was very poor. It went out entirely for 2 days and every time we mentioned it to the staff, they just said that it was working fine and did nothing to try to fix it. Also, a tampon (not ours) was left in our room in a very visible place by whoever cleaned our room that day. It was also annoying that they made us physically prove that our reservation included breakfasts for all of our family members even though they clearly had the reservation with the same information. Even after we showed them the reservation, they still asked us about it the very next day. If you’re looking for a hassle-free experience in Ubud, this is not it. We would not stay here again or recommend.

Hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was provided and the rooms were simple but had everything you need. The highlight of this place is definitely the gardens in the courtyard. Wifi was a bit spotty.

I enjoyed the location and the layout of the homestay

The place is nice, friendly staff, liked the fruit plate and omelette breakfast. Only negative part was that the AC didn’t work during my stay.

Teba House is a family owned company, and you could really tell because they are all so welcoming, warm, generous and try their very best to satisfy your needs and wishes. There is a new breakfast every fourth day, which is really appreciated, and it also comes with a nice and cozy view at their breakfast spot. Whenever we wanted we also got hot water with coffee or tea to our room in the evening. Our room wasn't anything special, no AC (we had a ceiling fan) but overall OK. The good thing tho is that they clean your room every day and give you new fresh towels. The wifi was pretty slow, but it worked. I would definitely recommend Teba House, whether you're a couple or a family, you will enjoy your stay with this lovely family!

Arrive n ubud at 11pm on the 30th of january 017,given as only choise a room with a bathroom n complety need of repairs ,the floor n very dirty ,the door broken ,the shower provide water,but not easy to handle o place the shower hose n the rigth place n water goes everywhere while having a shower,strong smell coming from toilet .Breackfeast was serve at small up stairs location ,very basic food,try two days n gave up .,due to the luck of entusiasm by the person n charge of making breakfeast ,Requets for a better room ,being ignore by the owners as theyr grt litle involment n my concern,after I complain about the bathroom condition,a men from hotel come to room n try to scrabe the bathroom floor!Left the hotel a week before my stay due,to being toll s not goin to ne any refund for the remainig week,not ask for refund!Im happy to tex expedia photos of the room I was given for my stay!not sure how much control expedia have when customers chose a hotel n paid at front with not idea what I will get for my money!All Im asking s a fair deal ,this hotel may get better rewies from guest staying n the new room area,but they manager or owner dont upgrade the old standar rooms to match the money I paid at front!I will like to be copensate by expedia if posible!this hotel every time gets a complain ,responde with future offering to correct the problem but does not happen till every one forgets it n the circle continues! Not bad, people are friendly enough and breakfast was ok. I had the standard room which was pretty no-frills. No daily cleaning. Chairs on the patio were of the uncomfortable bamboo variety. Bedding was a bit shredded and the roof leaked in 3 places when it rained (every day)...but not over the bed so it was manageable. Good for budget traveller that just needs a place to sleep

All very good till the end. We wanted to book a taxi with them at their price but were disappointed with their service.They do the very basic for you and that is it I wont say they make extra effort on services.

We stayed for 2 nigths. Really close to the Monkey Temple, walking distance to everything in central Ubud, and still in quiet area. Staff friendly and helped us get a relatively cheap and good speedboat ticket to Gili. The breakfast was small but free. Room was spaceous, but not super clean. Overall worth the money.

Teba House is located along a quiet lane two streets away from Monkey Forest Rd. So its quiet yet still conveniently close to the shops and restaurants along Monkey Forest Rd and Jln Hanoman. Nice place.

i stayed at this hotel with my daughter in August . We had seperate rooms my daughter found bedbugs on the second night in the material headboard she had bites on her face and arms. The headboard was crawling. We notified the staff immediately and they did not seem so concerned they sprayed the room and kept the head board. We moved to another hotel. Within an hour of the spreading there was another couple put into that room. That headboard should have been removed and maybe burned but all they did was spray it. Not happy.
