Although it’s the sign said no pets i There was dog hair all over my socks in a matter of minutes once I walked through the room. Coffee filter but no coffee pot. No hot water for the kitchen sink generally a poor day wouldn’t recommend.

The rooms were quite clean and we were pleased with the he stay. The outside look older but there have been inside renovations. No elevator but the stairs to the second floor were wide. Instant coffee and tea were provided near the entrance.

Property is old. Bed not comfortable. Sheets were white but not clean. It does not worth spending that much amount on this type of property.

The gentleman at check in was pleasant. The room was not. Hair in the bed, on the toilet and tub. McDonald’s fry bag taped to the ceiling of the bathroom, which had a bad mold smell. My phone charger fell out of the wall socket. Would not go there again, especially at the price you pay.

I think it is more of a motel, and it was a little quirky, from the way the doors lock to a 2 person dinette where you had to move the couch to get to one of the seats. The only issue I had was that there were stains on the sheets when I got in, but management was quick to give me fresh from the dryer sheets. Location is very good being close to gas stations and restaurants if you actually want to walk around. It was a bit of a time warp staying there but overall the unit was clean, the AC kept me nice and cool and the hotel staff was very friendly.

The visit was good but the beds were hard as rock had trouble sleeping- they did up grade part of the bathroom except for the shower and bath tub it was rusty I did not feel comfortable taking a shower or bath there

It was a very simple Hotel, Good service at the front desk A very simple room, nothing fancy or extravagant. Whether it was clean, comfortable. I would most definitely stay there again. The price was right. The only one negative thing I have to say, is that the shower head did not work very well. Other than that, everything was good.

Front desk staff was very friendly. Room was basic. We had a pet so we got a pet room. Smelled a bit like wet dog when we got there. Went and bought a candle to improve the smell. High price but that’s to be expected in Golden in the summer. Not bad but will probably give a different place a try next time.

This hotel was over priced for what you get in terms of a stay. It is an older hotel and the outside area/grounds are not well cared for. The room itself was clean but jsut felt old and outdated. The beds were fairly comfortable. There was a fridge and microwave for use. It is also dog friendly. There was no additional lock on the door. An additional lock had been there but part of it was removed. So if you are seekingextra security, it won't happen. It is a non smoking room so people sit outside and smoke. That meant the smell entering our room when a neighbor smoked...disgusting! Also, no breakfast of any kind.

An older place but they are upgrsding it snd it is comfortable, We tell by the smell it is clean, or we would have not stayed. The bed clothes were excelent and fresh, mttress were new and comfortable. No breakfast and the coffee tea was just hot water and instant but clean and worked for a beverage all day. I liked it and would stay again in a heart beat.

This was just a very quick stop for us to sleep while driving back to Calgary from the West Coast. We arrived late, after the front desk had closed, but called earlier and they made arrangements for us to get into our room contactless. The rooms are newly renovated and clean. We slept and then got up early to continue on our way home. Truly, we did not even need the room key or wifi password, lol! We very much appreciate their flexibility in accommodating our late arrival, thanks!

Nothing fancy but met our needs for an overnight stay. Just had to ask for hair dryer however outlet plug in bathroom does not work. Had to dry hair in main part of the room. Needs attention. Tried the reset button but nothing. Overall OK

The management were very nice No coffee available. Instant coffee ……uncomfortable beds. Hard beds. Quick stopover place if passing through. Could hear lots of Noise above our unit. Electrical Plugs were all so loose we couldn’t use them

Is not wheelchair/disability friendly. When asked for a room on the main floor we’re told none were vacant; which is Understandable. I wish that it was advertised that it didn’t accommodate disabilities. No placard parking either. In the end it Was good for what we needed, to have one night of rest. Rooms weren’t dirty but had a stale smell. Recommend for a quick stay, not a long one.

Smelly place masked with horrible perfume, making it difficult to breathe. Sub par renovations. Poor quality bedding and other sundries. No coffee in rooms, but instant coffee available at front desk. This place should be half the rate/night for what you get.

This is the 2nd time staying at this hotel. The price is good, bathroom and bed are comfortable and clean. They are fairly close to the most beautiful National Parks in the world, and for a very good price.

The Swiss Village Inn is quite expensive despite being very outdated and not particularly comfortable. It was a quick stop for a single night so we weren't expecting anything fancy but if a place is going to be this "bare bones" and not well maintained, the price should reflect it. The AC unit stopped working partway through the night. There was no iron, hair dryer or coffee in the room. When I asked to borrow a hair dryer from the registration desk, I was given a very old small, yellowed device that was missing the attachment that was supposed to go with it. The bed was quite small and uncomfortable. The room smelled like cigarettes. The shower was relatively clean but maybe some spots missed in the bathroom. The service was fine - efficient and polite and they did recommend a good restaurant.

Room smelled very strong of febreeze, so we had to have the eu die open, as the other rooms we were offered as an exchange when I asked, all snelled just as strong. Also were old towels hung up on the back of the door that were missed during the room clean. And no TP, but that was brought up quickly when I requested it. Beds were comfy tho. Oh. Also was only instant coffee, if you drink coffee. Never seen that anywhere I’ve stayed ever before.

When I got into the room it was so cold, and I mean cold. The tv didn’t work and the walls were paper thin. I would not recommend this motel to anyone.

My husband found dried blood on his bath towel! He approached the management for a refund but was told he they wouldn’t refund the room. Only a very small refund. ($20)! Seriously. The other towels were threadbare. The ceiling light outside our room was full of bugs. Will not return.

Very unfriendly check in experience. Rooms are fine but rates seem steep for what you get. Bed felt like it was the original mattress from when the place first opened.
