The staff was extremely friendly and nice. The property has a great location and is very attractive from the outside. The lobby is also spacious and the bar is very pretty. The condition of the carpet in the hallways was not good, there is no chair in the room, and we had no idea it was located so close to train tracks. There were issues with the shower doo, it wouldn't stay closed. You need to get out of the bed to turn the bedside lamps on and off.

I had high hopes for this place. We arrived to our room and there was candy, straws and paper under the desk which we ignored. The toilet had a urine smell think it was caused by the toilet not flushing completely sprayed Lysol the T.V. Had 2 bright Pixels that distracted you while watching not to mention it was so dark you could barely see what was on. The A/C was so cold we had to ask for an extra blanket which really didnt help. We tried to turn the thermostat up to a hotter temp but about 1hr we were freezing again. The pillows were like marshmallows very uncomfortable. We thought about ordering room service only to realize that we had no where to eat if we did. They had no seats to sit in to watch T.V. Except for some roll around stools which were useless. No shear curtain so you could open and let Light in which the room really needed. Because in the main light fixture they had 2 burnt lights. Not enough plug outlets for modern day work their Internet if any was super slow. I have been passing this place for at least the last 40yrs wondering if i could ever afford to stay at a golden years hotel which i figured would be elegant and unique only to be so desappointed but for the money i spent to stay there for 2 nights i expected much more. So you will not get any good stars from me Highly Disappointed. And I sure there is many things i am Missing that was wrong about this hotel. But you know I took the chance of booking and I wasted my time and money. It needs HELP

Historical property was very nice. The room smelled wonderful. Checkin staff Rachel was very friendly. The linens were nice, crisp and smell good. However, my room was across from the elevator so it was quite noisy with housekeeping noise. The AC left a little bit to be desired. Bathroom lighting definitely needs help.

Decided last minute to go spend the weekend with my fiance, so literally found the room the day before. Booked online, showed up and was impressed as soon as we arrived. It's an older historic hotel that's been modernized. Front desk was very polite and helpful. Check in was quick and easy. Very quiet stay. Woke up and ordered breakfast from the restaurant in the hotel, had it delivered to my room. Food was great. There is a bar downstairs as well, watched a few minutes of the game. It's literally about a minutes drive from the casino's. Beach is across the street. Very comfortable, relaxing stay. Check out was simple. All and all, I will definitely be back, we had an amazing time for a last minute booking.

The olace was beautiful and we loved it! The only thing I would suggest is to change out the pillows! We had a double queen room and all 6 of the pillows were awful! Like full of air as if you were sleeping on a balloon.

We had higher expectations for a 3 star hotel at the price point of this. It was nice and clean, but not what we expected for the price. You can stay at just as nice places for half the price. Only bad things is the pillows were tiny and the bathroom at the pool was nasty.

We certainly enjoyed our weekend at the White House Hotel. Everyone was helpful and friendly. It is so convenient to everything we enjoy and such ease of getting out of parking lot on the highway. The first room we got put in was wonderfully large, Beautiful and i was so excited about it. However it ran a consistent 76 degrees. They found us another room with ac but it was much smaller and we lost the awesome bathroom.

A wonderful gem in a historic setting, across the highway from the beach. Enjoyed the huge swimming pool for a morning swim. Well maintained comfortable and quiet room. I wish that the hotel restaurant, Cora's, was open for dinner on Sunday, but it's not.

Non working Air Conditioner. Was on location of the property for about 2 hrs without resolution. Was offered to locate to another room with Air Conditioning, but room was infested with termites and non working sink. Then offered another room on the 1sr floor at 1:30am; for that to be changed to a room on the 3rd floor. It is now 2am so i said change of plans we're leaving i would like a refund.
