You cannot find any place better! The spa is old but amazing. I'd definitely come back in winter.

Amazing. Staff not very friendly, but okay

This hotel is definitely dated looking on the exterior and public circulation spaces. But the western rooms were just renovated and are quite nice.
The Onsen is fantastic. The breakfast is also great. I kind of forgot it was included in the rate I chose.
It’s also great they have a free shuttle. It’s mostly convenient. There’s also a public bus stop at the front door.
I’d say location is the main downside for most people. It’s not overly walkable to anywhere without some effort.
I might end up there again. It was my first trip to Niseko, so I really didn’t know the layout yet. Now that I’ve got a good feeling for the area I’ll look and see what other options exist closer to the hills/dining options. I definitely dont want to be at a busier resort area like Hirafu, but wouldn’t mind being walkable to Moiwa or Annupuri. Would make choosing when to start or stop skiing easier.
Mind you.. that Onsen is great. I no in a couple times a day before breakfast and after skiing. It’s open about 22.5 hours a day.

Clean and comfortable, tea and kimonos in the room, heated toto toilet, great lighting, plenty of space for clothes & luggage in the room. Warm, welcoming staff, English was good and a great Onsen!! Nice to share the outside mineral water lagoon with my husband. Felt like a ski lodge enjoyed all the fellow skiers on the bus to 10 minute drive to Annupuri resort frequent schedule.

The hotel needs a good renovation. Very old and tired.
The rooms I booked (Japanese style vs western style) were not respected, and one of the rooms did not have a shower.
The onsen is good but too many people using it do not how to behave and really ruin the experience.

Great shared onsen

Incredible open-air bath -- recommend visiting in the winter.
Not a lot of areas close by to eat, but accessible via car.
4.0
Service was excellent, rooms are Japanese style and partly newly renovated. Breakfast and restaurant is nice. The Hotel is quite old and the inside Onsen needs some renovation. Outside onsen is wonderful but many foreigners ignore rules, which is sad (eg. drink beer in onsen or women come to men’s area). For skiing the hotel is perfect and provides great value for its rates.
2.0
The onsen is good but the hotel is overall a bit old. The price is reasonable with breakfast included.

hotel was good. staff service was excellent.
I recommend this hotel

Loved the Onsen at the hotel. Staff is very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast is great at the hotel. The only downside is the distance to most restaurants. Shuttle service to the ski hills is super convenient and well timed. Would suggest renting a car if you have a group of 4 or more. Great experience though, definitely recommend.

Staff. Best onsen
4.0
Property is dated, but onsen and shuttle around the mountain made it a good stay.
2.0
Nice onsen with a mixed bath area. Many bugs in the room and old bedding and mattress. Old spiderwebs on the ceiling. Water damage on the walls. I suggest only visiting as a day trip to the onsen. They offered to clean the room when we mentioned the bugs, but we decided it was too uncomfortable to stay overnight and drove home instead.
4.0
Onsen and dinner very good. Hotel come with shuttle bus to connect with snow resort.

We had to cancel due to the corona virus epidemic. My husband was already sick. No accommodation was made.

Onsen was great. Staff were helpful. Building itself is old and needs a face-lift

4th time stay here to ski in Niseko Hirafu.
Hotel location is isolated with limited transportation.
at least has shuttle to ski resort but to Hirafu, limited time.
Stay are fine but only the hotel Wifi is very bad.
If the charge is more than $250, not worth staying during Ski period

Very disappointed with the beginning of our trip this place was horrible, dirty, run down and misleading. I have traveled all over the world and have never experienced a hotel like this. There was no description on this distance away from EVERYTHING. The shuttles are minimal and I want EVERYONE to know this. There is no description that a shower will not be in your room. You have to shower on a Community bench in the Onsen. I understand the culture, however there needs to be a description so everyone knows. The room was very run down and dirty. We had blood on our sheets. Walls are cracked.. carpet torn not updated.. I have never needed to write a review but I want everyone to know this place is misleading for people flying across the world for the snow.. The location is not best for people not having transportation especially at night if you want to into town. Taxis are difficult. When talking with the staff they had left an intern to run the front desk and she was not very helpful or educated on our issues and how to help the customer when there is an issue.. overall do not stay here if you really want to experience Niseko and it’s amazing snow. We ended up funded an amazing hostel and they made our experience epic.

Very poor client experience and services. Say no to neary everything, will not choose this hotel next time

Onsen and shuttle were amazing! Very useful and convenient
3.0
Great that they offer the free shuttle bus to ski resorts. Otherwise there’s only one restaurant for a few minutes walk. There’s a convenience store in the hotel. The breakfast was awesome. The staff were nice and spoke decent English. There’s free locker for ski equipment. The onsen was beautiful.
The room was old and not as clean. Worse, the onsen was old and dirty; it really needs some remodeling.

Hotel is old and paid premium for a room that did not come with shower even though photo shows it has attached bath.

Front desk senior staff was very bad attitude to us.
2.5
The hotel’s location is 5mins near from Anuppuri. And onsen was awesome. I came not during peak season, so very few people skiing here. The service are all good, breakfast is also perfect.
2.5
Superb stay. Very warm rooms. Excellent Onsen! I would love to visit again

We stayed in a traditional tatami room on the first floor of this older building. The accommodations were acceptable for a group of 4, although a bit cramped. The staff turns over the room and sets up the traditional beds for you in the evening, which was a nice touch. They were very kind and helpful and were happy to store our luggage the morning prior to check-in. Noise wasn't much of an issue and being next to the locker room wasn't as loud as we expected with the second door shut. The onsen was great to have on-site and the breakfast buffet had a good spread. There's a great restaurant just a few minutes walk away as well. The shuttle runs often enough and is free. Overall, we were happy with our stay but it wouldn't be our first choice for a group the second time around due to location and available space.

3rd time I stayed in this hotel to ski.
Even though the hotel is old and it's area is isolated, it still a good stay for skiing.

The hotel is old and a bit rundown. The Onsen was amazing but that was it. It is far from the resort, the beds were uncomfortable, and the shower temperature would change from good to scalding to freezing randomly. The restaurant was overpriced for dinner, but breakfast was nice.
1.0
stayed here many times, enjoy the food and people in the hotel. the hotel is dated but the service is great. from the drivers to the room and food servers all were very nice, friendly and helpful.
1.5
Old but nice hotel, only thing I do not like is there is no bathroom available which is unacceptable for me.I will need to go to the ladies Onsen (public bathroom) to bath with others. I am not into this culture hence I decided not to bath for that day. Plus point is the breakfast provided is awesome with a very very beautiful view. It’s winter by the way.
2.0
Onsen is very unique & nice. Location is closed by the sky resort
1.0
Check-out time is 10am but the onsen closes at 9am and the room has no hair dryer so that we could not wash hair in the morning!
The room looks old and there was limited kinds of foods for the breakfask. It's not worth ~HKD2000 per room per night.
1.5
it has one if the best outdoor onsen in the area, rooms are reasonably price and there’s a hotel bus to annapurri and hirafu. plan your dinner wisely though as taxi service is expensive and takes a long time
1.0
We had a rental car so it was okay to commute from the ski area and the hotel.
The service was overall okay, I read some reviews about rude service but all the three front desks I’ve talked to was good. There was a young tall staff was offering extremely good service compared to the others. The way very kind and informative. Even willing to exchange a room for us when we arrived late at night.
One thing you might wanna make sure before your booking that, most of the rooms do not come with a private shower room.
The out door onsen was a great facilityc and it seems like many local japanese come to the hotel only for this public bathing as well, which felt a bit uncomfortable.
Wish they could rerenovate the interior so it’s much more comfortable to stay.

every thing you need, they got it...... awesome

We had a western Japanese room... Good size for 3 ppl.Furniture need to upgrade...

Old hotel with old facilities, decent meals included, dont expect fancy ingredient. Limited parking lots, mixed onsen.
2.5
Good and acceptable. Pricey in the month of February
1.5
Rooms were very very basic, none of our group were able to have a proper shower in the rooms because the temperature would fluctuate so drastically from hot to cold. Onsen was awesome though so that's where we showered instead.
