We loved the hotel and will definitely book there again! Clean, and very spacious room. Quiet and nice kitchenette. The continental breakfast was wonderful, too! Easy access to everything.

They had our booking for only 2 days, so we had some issues with the elevator, my 67 yr old husband had to walk 3 flights of stairs to our room. We couldn't program our tv's for the first 2 days, the front desk ladies were helpful especially the "mature" one w/ short hair the 3rd time. We were celebrating my 60th b-day, asked for an upgrade toa window room, but were 30 seconds too late, what does that mean? no-one asked if we wanted our room made up? My husband said eggs were cold.(I enjoyed the breakfast, staff was on point!) the room was nice and big, charming, not very well cleaned, but manageable. Not sure if new mgmt or the change of whatever, Good Luck in getting the kinks worked out!

A nice hotel in the heart of Canal Park. Nothing super flashy but having the kitchenet is nice if you are there a couple of days. Quality breakfast and friendly helpful staff. Could use a bit of up keep on the room (towel rack was loose and minor things like that) but nothing that ruined or even affected the stay.

No shampoo. No soap for shower and minimal conditioner. They have a pump system in shower that were not filled. Dishes in dishwasher. For price not worth the stay.

Couldn't check in until 5:50pm due to rooms not being ready. It took three times until we got a room. There were multiple people with the same issue on the same night. It was a mess. At checkout the next morning, a gal said she had two random people enter her room at night while she was in bed. They were issued the same room key. What a nightmare.We will not be returning.

For the price we paid, we were disappointed. Our “suite” had a kitchenette, and a pull out couch. Our room was musty and had a peculiar odor. Turning on the AC helped with the strange odor. Breakfast had a selection of items, beds were comfortable.

We stayed for six nights. We stayed once pre-covid, and it was great.
We were disappointed when we came this time and saw how dirty things were. Mold in the bathroom, broken dirty drop ceiling tiles.
They no longer have housekeeping come around at all. You empty your own trash and leave it outside your door. Ours sat there for two days. Need towels? Toilet paper? Come to the lobby to get some. Dirty towels? Leave them outside your door where they too will sit for days.
The employees we saw were all working very hard. There just clearly weren’t enough of them on site. Someone needs to hire more staff.

Overall, it was a nice stay at the property. It was a little "awkward" getting use to a room with no windows, but not a deal breaker. They seemed to be short staffed, as the front desk was not always attended to by a rep. However, the person who helped us check-in and out was really hustling to help everyone. I commend him for his hard work. The room was fine, but the bathroom needed some updating; shower head was small and low powered. Really liked the location on Canal Park; close to a lot of restaurants, bars, activities, etc.

Room was nice. Bed was comfortable. Covid is over. No reason not to empty trash and refresh room each day. Breakfast area needs redesigned or have trays available. Only two tables downstairs all other tables are up a lot of steps for seniors and small children trying to carry everything. Front desk was nice. Had to replace a key once. My fault I had been warned. Pool and hot tub were fine. Not really ADA friendly. Parking lot is across the street or behind the building. No way to exit to street with using stairs.

I would have to say, Derrick who checked us in was very welcoming and hospitable.
Our original room had a very strong chlorine smell from the pool. The second room was larger but had an unpleasant smell. (had to get room air freshener). The room was also dirty with spider webs in the window. Furniture was dusty. A layer deep enough to write in.

It had a vintage/old ship-type aesthetic which was pretty cool. Excellent location for shopping and walking to sights.
The downside is that I had a wagon/stroller for my kids that I had to lift up the stairs. I wasn’t able to find a wheelchair accessible section, but maybe I missed it.

I love this place! The interior suites are huge for a great price and i dont mind that they do not have windows. I sleep great when I stay here.

The room was spacious. The furniture was worn and oddly arranged. The bathrooms were moderately clean. The beds were comfortable the pillows were fine. The hot breakfast was good. Pools looked good although we didn’t use them. For the price and location we were overall happy.

First off one key did not work.
Our room was certainly not cleaned!
Bed was made, though there was Stuff on floor, not vacuumed, long hairs in tub and on sink, no toilet paper on roll, a dirty sock balled up under bathroom vanity, towels not filled, and garbage not emptied.
Ruined entire trip which was difficult to get my husband to go to start with.
Attempted to call front desk which was evidently busy so that pretty much ended our get away!

Property seems clean enough, Iif pretty beat-up. Rooms are big. My friend and I came to Duluth for Bayfront Blues Fest. Our stay was Thursday thru Sunday- checking out on Monday. Not once did housekeeping visit our room. Sunday morning I asked at the front desk for at least new towels and trash emptied while we were gone and was told that they needed 24 hours advance notice to do this…

Great staff, great location. Lots of dining options nearby. I’ve stayed here several times, and it’s always great. Pool, hot tub, and sauna are nice. Room has several amenities.
I must admit that our room was in need of some fresh paint and touch ups. Breakfast was super busy and the staff couldn’t keep up with the food and cleaning the tables. Our sheets also had a stain.

Smelled of urine outside the elevators.
Lots of noise in the hallway after hours.
Neighborhood is suffering the typical urban decay (strip joint and weed store...in a family vacation center?)

We pulled the sheets back and an unused condom flew out and my daughter saw then blood on sheets in roll away bed. Got our money back and drive home 31/2 hours in rainstorms

Bathroom was extremely dirty, I'm not the kind to exaggerate so when i say it was dirty it was, hair all over, side of bathtub dirty, no baseboard, paint everywhere plus all the shampoo conditioner body gel all empty. Honestly a disgrace

Great location! Stayed there 10 years ago and nothing has really changed. Could use a good update for the price but other than my key getting deactivated 3 times, it had comfy beds and and easy access and the stay was good.
