We really enjoyed our stay from the morning yoga and the freshly made breakfast, to the wild monkeys that visited in the trees outside our room. The staff was very accommodating and took great care of us. The location was a bit away from town but just enough. We were able to enjoy the quiet and peace and grab a quick ride into downtown Ubud for shopping and dining.

Super tranquil and beautiful grounds the flora and fauna here are great to see. Loved the frogs and birds and monkeys as the resort is set against the rainforest!

Customer service fantastic and loved how staff were there to pick us up from airport and take us to another hotel when we were done and be our personalised tour guide. All for small fee. We couldn’t have seen Bali easily without their support.
Room was lovely very comfy bed and beautiful surrounds. Loved the outdoor shower and toilet etc.
Near enough to Ubud town but a bit removed from the hustle of the main streets, which gives the resort a more authentic jungle villa feel.
Yoga included every morning at 7am at no extra cost - very good experience and instructors were very good.

The staff and the service was excellent, except that the food orders took longer than expected. The bathrooms and beds were clean. The property can use some upgrades, wood wardrobe was creaky and smelling of mold. Wifi can use some boosters too

At Being Sattvaa you feel well taken care of without feeling bombarded or pressurized. The staff is discrete,elegant, subtle and efficient. If you need something, they are available but you never feel they are obtrusive. In this respect , they have reached the perfect balance. The atmosphere is heavenly, peaceful and quiet. The rooms are lovely and the design is totally integrated with its surroundings. They have yoga classes every morning which we were not able to take advantage of but plan on enjoying on our next stay. This hotel is top notch, no doubt about it.

I absolutely loved this property. It was one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. I love the natural environment, the beautiful gardens and all the facilities. My villa was exquisite, with a comfortable bed, large bathroom and bath, all amenities, including a plunge pool. I also felt welcomed and very cared for by all the staff, including Subba and Renuka. They have truly created a very rare and special retreat site.

The retreat is a beautiful place. All indoor/outdoor, at one with nature. The staff loves to be helpful. Soni and Mona were wonderful. Our huge outdoor bathroom was amazing. The meals were delicious and presented as works of art. Sounds of nature everywhere. Beautiful pool deck. Free shuttle to center of Ubud available.

As soon as we arrived, we didn't want to leave! Staff was super friendly, remember our names, and went out of their way to accommodate our requests (eg serve half our breakfast early and remainder mid morning, making custom food off the menu). The entire property was spotless clean - can walk around bare feet all day and still have clean soles. Beds were super comfy and we slept like babies and the daily turndown service was lovely. Truly amazing and can't say enough good things. Highly highly recommended!

Staff were always polite and friendly and greeted us with a welcome drink and overview of our itinerary and hotel facilities.
The rooms were amazingly clean and the outdoor bathroom on the ground floor is just incredible. Such a nice and tranquil way to take a shower (with complete privacy ofcourse). And despite it being rainy season and anywhere else swarming with insects and frogs, the rooms were still spotless unless you leave your door open!
The vegetarian menu was great for breakfast but got a little bit repetitive for dinner. We always began our days too stuffed to move and had to wait to digest before we went out! Pancakes and muesli stood out to me, plus the BeingSattvaa breakfast with the porridge is also amazing. The pastas weren't that good for dinner but the Indonesian dishes were very tasty and healthy! There are lots of dinner options in the city and they provide free shuttle car service every two hours until around 6 or 7pm and then you can cab back to the resort when you're done.
Only negative was that it was quite far from the main city area. It took 20 minutes by car and when we asked for pick up in the afternoon to get back to the resort, we waited one hour each time because of the traffic! Not the driver's fault but just beware and organise your time wisely.
Overall, amazing place to spend a few days to unwind and relax with some amazing views and experiences and food!

The staff were excellent and the shuttle service was great. Morning yoga was also fun - it would have been nice for this to be more regular seen as the hotel bills itself as a retreat.
There were a couple of things that could have been improved upon that we shared with the staff when leaving such as more power sockets - only 1 was accessible in the room (but two outside randomly), more lighting - getting ready for an evening out was pretty challenging and we hadn't realised that the hotel is technically alcohol free save for the odd bottle of white wine.

I stayed here on my honeymoon for three nights between visiting nusa dua and seminyak for a total relaxation and that it was! We stayed in the hotel for the whole time we were in Ubud we were slightly worried about being in a vegetarian hotel but there was no need the food was so fresh and tasty we didn't miss meat and fish at all. The staff excelled anyway they could and were very friendly. We had a massage during our stay and it was the best massage I have ever had!
Dining in and using the spa is a must to really fully enjoy this hotel.

All time best hotel/lodging experience I've ever had, and although the property is absolutely stunning, it was the staff that made the stay so wonderful. Stayed 5 nights and by the end of it felt like I was saying goodbye to friends. Wonderful peaceful option just outside the chaos of Ubud.

I stayed at BeingSattvaa for 5 days. The first night, I didn't get to Being Sattvaa till 1-ish in the morning. The staff was very thoughtful that they prepared a couple of veggie sandwiches for me (I told them that I'm a vegetarian). They gave me a room that was not far from the rice field. The view was good but I found it hard for me to sleep as the curtains couldn't 100% block the sunlight. I told the staff about it the next day and they immediately arranged me another room which was facing the jungle. OMG, I loved that room as the bathroom was open to nature.
The chef was amazing. If you are staying at BeingSattvaa, you really have to try their American breakfast which had mushroom in it. The mushroom was amazing. Moreover, they served vegetarian dinner which was way better than those I had in Ubud.
The staff was extremely attentive and helpful.
