Beautiful lake view from 4th floor. (Ground floor has great beach access). Comfortable beds and good kitchen. Would stay there again.

The Surfside Desert Inn is a very cute and affordable stay located right on the beach in beautiful Osoyoos! Along with the motel being a comfy stay with air conditioning and all the expected amenities, the staff were above and beyond helpful and kind, always serving us with a smile! The location of this place is great, about a 1 minute away there is a coffee shop with some snacks and a 10 minute walk in either directions and there are places to eat, more coffee shops, breweries and more - this can all be walked to via the beach! We would definetly like to return to this place! :)

Perfect lake view

On arrival we chose to upgrade to a bright and cheery waterfront suite. Lovely to sit on the balcony & watch the setting sun over the lake. Bruce in the office was very friendly and helpful.

Nice location on the lake. Although the rooms are somewhat dated, they are very clean and comfortable.

The room, though definitely not newly refurbished, was very comfortable with a limited kitchen that suited us well. The bed was comfy and the bathroom very clean. The manager, Bruce, was particularly helpful and chatty. Great fellow with plenty of knowledge of the area.

Unit was in great condition. Updated bathroom and kitchen. Would definitely stay there again.

Veary good

We were 2 couples in a 2 bedroom unit. While a bit dated, the unit was well equipped and the grounds and beach well maintained. Izzy at front desk was friendly, welcoming and so accommodating. Great location to use and walk the beach and access nearby restaurants.

Check in was fast,received an upgrade with no extra charge.will definitely return for another stay

We spent 3 nights in 2BR Waterfront unit. Beautiful view, clean room, stocked kitchen, wonderful location. Cleaning and caretaker staff friendly and helpful, if you need something just ask. Downside was having to ask for so many things that should have been provided, wasting a good portion of our first day. The shower head was improperly installed, fell off and hit me in the face, resulting in a nasty black and blue bruise on my face. I showed the hotel cleaning staff and caretaker, and they notified the hotel manager immediately and she phoned to make sure I was ok. Staff replaced the shower head to a safe, usable one. However, this took up over a half day of our 3 days dealing with the repair. The shower has no grab bars or bath mat. We didn't ask for compensation for our time, nor did they offer. The sheets were so old, thin and pilled that we asked for new ones that we replaced ourselves. The A/C is also and old, wall mount unit that is noisy and inefficient, thankfully there was a cool breeze at this time of year. Remote in bedroom didn't work and couldn't be fixed by resort caretaker. The best part of the resort is the beach, the location is fantastic. But safety is an issue at Desert Surfside.

It was a bit too cool and windy to use their beach but it was a lovely view. The room was decent and quiet and all residents were really nice and friendly. You are required to take out your garbage when you leave. Their set up for that is well marked and easy to do. We got delayed by a road construction incident and the staff were very helpful in providing information about the situation while we were stuck on the highway.

On the beach clean affordable

It was a great location and we use the kitchen which is great,but I’m so disappointed in terms of cleanliness, I saw some bugs in our blanket when we supposed to sleep. Cobwebs everywhere, couch worn out and some towels. Hope they will upgrade the amenities in the future regarding cleanliness.

Not being able to access wifi in the room lead to night of going down to the lobby and back to the room numerous times Further the air conditioner was a tribute to Everett Factory (Boeing testing an engine for take off). But the receptionist in the morning was very sympathetic and kind).

Great location with a private beach. Had a BBQ and kitchen that we took advantage of. Comfortable beds.

A great room for an overnighter. Clean, well organized for a smaller room.Good supply of Decent cooking utensils and dishes. Bed a bit softfor us but thats our preference. And found traffic noise annoying. Friendly staff. Thanks for a good stay. Rooms on waterfront would be mych quiter .

We love this place. This is our 5th year & it has become our summer home away from home. Just absolutely perfect. And the staff are warm, welcoming & friendly. Extra special shout out to Vernon!

Good location. Hotel offered complimentary chairs for the beach, as well as use of BBQs. Beds were comfortable and kitchen well equipped with tableware. Bring your own coffee, salt, pepper, oil etc. Great price for a quick weekend away. We will be back!
