Entertainment wasn’t that great . Almost every night was just dancing and DJ

Great experience at the Riu Turquoise.
This is a huge resort in front of the sea and everything is great.
The rooms are large and modern.
All inclusive option works perfectly where everything is well managed, no need no wait anywhere and the buffet offers a large selection of choices.
The staff is well trained and extremely friendly (especially if you meet with Anaïs at the reception who will make your stay even greater).
If you like activities, there is one pool dedicated to it, if you prefer to stay at a calm place, a second pool is also available or you have the beach with many places available.

Room, Staff & Service were excellent! Would come back anytime. Tranks for the great stay!

Hotel was in a beautiful part of the island, right on the beach and close to the mountain of Le Morne. Facilities at the hotel were good, with varied activities available daily and entertainment each evening. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Light bright and spacious room with a big bed and a lovely view to the sea from the balcony.
It was nice to have a separate toilet from the bathroom.
The all-inclusive fridge of soft drinks and beers was constantly re-filled. We did, however, have to get our own cups and saucers plus glasses for drinks in the room.
Self service buffet meals were varied and excellent. The quality of drinks in the restaurant and bar were very good.
Plenty of sunbeds and nice pool right on the beach.
However, this hotel certainly catches the wind and many sunbeds were left empty during the day. Great place for sailboards and kite surfers.
Evening entertainment was mediocre.
Big problem with cats in the restaurant begging for food, spraying up the tables and chairs, defacating in the interior flower beds and occasional fighting for mating rights. Not the best experience for such an aspiring hotel.

We stayed at this resort as we were especially excited to try all the watersports offered. However, on every single day of our stay, it was apparently too windy to do any and therefore we were left disappointed. We wanted to try windsurfing (which needs wind!) but apparently we weren’t experienced enough and there was no offer of instructing - quite conflicting information.
Everything else about the resort was great.

This hotel is in a very very windy area, not a nice space for sun bathing. The food was amazing but there was small problems like no cutlery or glasses available and tables were often not clean. The room itself was damp.. and wifi didn’t work in one of the rooms, and you could only charge your phone if the lights were on. All in all not the luxury you would expect with a price like this.

It was amazing!! Thank you for all the good memories!!

The information provided on Expedia, and their own website is incorrect. It is not 24/7 all inclusive food/snacks, only drinks. The rooms are dated with holes in the bathrooms and the drainage system absolutely stank at night. Not a maintained 4 star hotel in my opinion, and completely misold to us with in factual information. Additionally the spa was all closed throughout the duration of our stay because it was not working.

Once things got going things were good. Our first room had issues with ants and power and the balcony door broke. We were able to get our room switched and the second room was much nicer, the only problem was that we couldnt find an appropriate outlet in our room to charge our devices. The adaptor in the bathroom didn't work. But the staff are very very friendly, we felt safe, we appreciated the committment to COVID protocols. The beach was very nice, the hotel always had something to do. I would say 2/3 restaurants were good when we visited them. We weren't feeling the Asian restaurant. The night shows were fun. Overall it was a good experience.

The bathrooms need updating & the menu needs to be more local and varied.. it’s very basic staples, nothing local or exciting ! Tried both restaurants, same conclusion, needs to be more flavourful !!

Overall it was a great stay. We dis not expect to have a service as good as in Europe, but it was quiet dirty.

Huge package holiday hotel. Too big really and so service was noticeably absent. We never got a feeling for who was in charge at the hotel as staff switched so much due to shifts changing. It's a good hotel for its amazing location and activities on offer but don't expect amazing service or food at this place. There are much nicer hotels on the island but they are obviously more expensive. In conclusion: you get what you pay for.

Hotel not as advertised, only 1 low quality buffet restaurant open and our room felt like it was IN the club, not offered any relocation. The hotel said we could check out early and they would refund us the rest of the nights...however 2 weeks later they have ignored all calls and refund requests from hotels.com and so we're still £1500 out of pocket, as we checked in somewhere else thinking they would refund us...but they haven't. Feel sick like we've been robbed.

The property was not clean. The room was filthy with mildew and molds. It was the absolute worst vacation.

The personal was so nice and friendly. My wife and me were so impressed about the restaurant and the bars.

We had a great stay at Riu Creole early November 2019. The staff were brilliant from start to end. Our room had personal touches where the bed was made in different ways, our toiletries were arranged wonderfully, the rooms were cleaned daily, the room bar was stocked every 2 days. The Barista's and Bartenders were trained and exceptional. They memorised orders of guests (easily over 400 people at the resort by the pool and in the lounge area). The beach, pool, restaurant, lounge, washrooms around the resort were spotless.
The food was good, slightly repetitive over 3/4 days we were there. We chose the Asian Restaurant for one evening (booking 2 days beforehand) and found as vegetarian's we had limited choices and the taste was alright. The buffet, we had a larger selection, but again signage was an issue as well as taste for the cooked food was not consistent. Some staff did not know what was on the buffet tables. This may also be a harsher comment as I stayed at St Regis in June 2019 at a similar price and their food was exceptional and that personal touch with requirements was beyond compare. Overall, we had a very relaxing and pleasant stay. Our highlight was the range of international level activities available at the resort (Kite Surfing, diving, etc., Le Morne- has a gate 1.5km from the end of the resort) Lowlight was the morning we had to leave at 5.30 and there was no breakfast available and no effort made to arrange something small despite our advanced request.

The resort was very good, and the beach was fantastic.
I could experience very good ocean activities.
I think it was the best resort in Mauritius comparing its price.
Especially, Le Morne was the best beach in Mauritius for me.

Loved the location for the water activities. Food and Beverages are fine for the target market but would be good to be able to upgrade

When we first arrived for some reason they "upgraded" our room putting us in Superior Double Room, Partial Sea View. Room smelled like mold, curtains especially. Mold was all over the bathroom and corners of the room. Sheets were filthy, tables also, in the draws was someone else’s hairs. When staff came to check our room they said that curtains are smelling like washed curtains which was unbelievable. Then reception manager came in and was saying we should be happy we have upgraded room and that room is older but not filthy. I showed him soup leftovers, ants around the sink yet nothing, no apology whatsoever. Then we asked him to show us our originally booked room which was Double Room, Partial Sea View and reception manager started "scaring" us that this room is on the other part of the resort, that we will have to walk a lot and that is very windy there. We said we just want clean room. After he showed us the other room we decided to stay in that originally booked room because it was at least cleaner. When it comes to food, it's buffet style in every restaurant, pretty disappointing, first day, dinner was okay but then as days were going by it was less and less of a choice, every day almost the same, in the morning tables were not set completely, always missing spoons and coffee mugs. When we were staying at the pool where Asian restaurant is there’s barely anyone available to get you drinks in the bar, it’s always waiting game. Overall very disappointing.

Hotel experience was amazing! Everyone was very nice. The worst part was the room which needed a few updates. It was not terrible but the hotel made up for it. Food was delicious and a great selection for each meal. The restaurant was very accommodating to my food allergies. Pool and beach were beautiful. We really enjoyed the shows each night.

Decent property main attraction is Le Morne beach. Rooms are fairly large but furnishings are dated. Service can be friendly but so so.

I really appreciated the staff there specially Varnesh and Naveerah for their prompt response at the Front Office. Had some nice drinks at the bar and the barman who was there on 06/02/19 after midnight was really friendly and knowledgeable.
Pleasant entertainment at the hotel during the dinner time.
The only suggestion i would have is to have the pool and the gym open till a later time as 20hrs for the pool and 19hr30 for the gym is a bit early.
However i would recommend this hotel for sure. Really enjoyable stay with great team!

Lovely hotel; great pool and garden area., comfortable room and lovely staff. Overpriced taxi/ tours to leave facilities. Thankfully we stayed up north and west coast before so we already explored country. Food was nice but and a lot, but nothing felt local and things tasted all same after just a couple of days. In all very relaxing and nice stay.

This is the second time I have ever chosen to stay at an all-inclusive. What a great decision! Riu Creole was phenomenal- it deserves all the raves people have cited. From truly good food to a gorgeous beach line, to ever-available sun beds both poolside and beachfront, the level of relaxation was great. My only complaints also cited by others, were 1.) the simple request to remove the seaweed off the shore, as all the other hotels along the same stretch of beach have done2.) improve wifi set-up

Everything was wonderful really from check-in to facilities and activities, only it would have been nicer if clear descriptions and lists of activities had been provided.

This four-star resort beat all our previous experiences. Amazing food every day, caring staff who did small nice things for our daughter like leaving flowers on her bed with the teddies. Wonderful sporting facilities, crystal clear lagoon against a unique background of Mount Brabant. Great swimming pool.
