The steps still had snow on them. The people in the next room continued to make noise well into the night. Overall, except for noisy neighbors, the stay was fine. The check in was, for us, unique and worked well. We would stay there again and hope for a quieter night.

The Rostay is unique for its absence of staff. We received a text explaining how to check in; the door to our room was left unlocked, and the instructions for checking out, etc. were posted on the wall. The room was well-equipped with extra linens and bedding, a coffeemaker, microwave and refrigerator. The room was furnished with a small dining table and chairs, a desk, beds, and a large area for unpacking and hanging one's clothes. The bathroom was large with a long counter, ideal for laying out one's toiletries. One of the beds was a queen, and the other was a bunk bed with a queen or double on the bottom and a single on top. Each was equipped with a swing-away overhead lamp, and they were comfortable for sleeping. However, the bunk was so low that one constantly was hitting one's head on the edge, and the bedframe flared out and was a danger for stubbed toes, especially in the middle of the night. At this time of year, breakfast is not included, but there are many very good options nearby; The Good Food Store (take-out and groceries) is right next door. The Rostay does not provide housekeeping services during one's stay. (That was fine with us.) Even though we never saw any staff, we did not feel abandoned. We knew help was only a text away, and we felt relaxed and comfortable coming and going as we pleased.

Another amazing stay here at the inn at the Rostay. WiFi is super fast. Rooms are clean as always. I got to stay in the L building which has just been fully renovated and was the first person to stay in the amazing renovated rooms. The new hot tub is still new and running great. The rooms now have big flat screen smart TVs finally.

The room had recently been remodeled and was really cute for a motel. The owners texted us as they said they would to tell us what to do upon arrival. It was a pleasant overnight stay.

Very basic room. Loved the pine trees. Zero contact with the owners except for a text to say where to find a key. Couldn't find the ice machine.

I visited in winter, couldn't see the ground nor used anything but the room. Was excellent for what we needed. Never interacted with staff in person. Went smoothly though.

Had an amazing stay ! This is my first time staying here after driving by many times. Rooms were SPOTLESS and the wifi was super fast. I was told that they swapped over from a local provider to starlink so the satellite wifi was working amazing. Also a super easy checkin process ! Will be back next weekend

Great little place. Convenient location, new hot tub. Grab ice if you need some before getting there. (Gas station across street). New hot tub! Very nice. Easy check in and check out. Attentive owners always available.

Everything was completely suitable for what we were in need of. Collin was super cool and made sue we had everything we needed. Rooms were clean and more than adequate.

WiFi too weak to connect computer. Host was unable to improve the situation during our three night stay. Beds made a lot of noise with movements. Nice medium size frig was positioned in the room as the bed stand and was too noisy to be so close to our heads (had to turn off frog). Disturbing noise came from adjoining storage room (failing up-lift water pump). Stayed at Rostay in the past with no recollection of any issues. I plan to stay elsewhere going forward.

This is not a 5 star property, but it is super clean, easy to deal with and affordable. If you're looking for luxury, go pay way too much up the road. We'll be hanging here, having a drink in the hot tub, and getting ready to shred. Rostay is amazing!

Great space to stay in. Good shower and bathroom. There’s a food truck and a gas station very close so food drinks and gas are not an issue. Overall great experience.

Unfortunately we arrived day after a massive flood event in the area. Property was surrounded with water. Staff were hard at work with clean up but quickly got us into a dry room.

It was off season when we stayed. There was no office or cleaning staff, yet everything went perfectly. Room was ready and clean. Phone numbers were available for emergency. Josh took care of it all.

One night stay on fall foliage drive. This hotel was very quaint, Only spoke with staff at check in but they where friendly and help us find restaurants in the area (FYI not many dinning options to choose from) The room was clean and fresh. The most important feature of a hotel for me is the bed and although the mattress was not deluxe I slept well.

Check-in was quick and the family that own it were friendly and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and had a nice rustic cabin feel. We only stayed one night so it was perfect for our needs. The only disappointment was that they weren’t serving breakfast, which we were looking forward to. The area was very nice. We would recommend this inn if you’re in the area.
