This place is so peaceful and beautiful. My family stayed here for two days and was very happy. I want to go again to this place where everything is perfect.

The studio was perfect. Chalet has been built only a couple years ago and is part of a very nice complex. We had a nice little garden we partial view on the Matterhorn and could eat on the terrasse most of the evenings. Our stay was perfect.

The apartment and the entire building seemed new, clean and well maintained. Its located about a 10 min walk to village center and 2 min to the bus stop. Its setting is in a nice neighborhood with mountain views. Bathroom was nice and clean. The very functional kitchen was well equipped and we used it often as eating out would've been a lot more inconvenient not to mention way more expensive. Co-op grocery store had a good selection and it was on the way back to the apt from village. The hosts are friendly and accommodating. There is high speed wifi in room (no wired LAN). The laundry room is right next to the apt and is coin operated and reasonable. They have a boot drying/warming rack by the stairway which worked great and also an outside ski room for storage. Taxi from train station to apt was 25 francs for 2 peeps. The only thing we didn't like was the bed. The mattress was very thin and therefore too firm and uncomfortable. Also, the fitted sheets were rough and not soft. They provided soft plush duvets which we ended up doubling up and using them as a "pullow top" on the mattress and that made it tolerable but it was still not great which led to not so great restful nights. If they replaced the mattress then this pad would be perfect. Still we would go back here.

We had a fantastic week at Chalet A la Casa. Comfortable and calm with a perfect view of Matterhorn. Andreas was very helpful and he is also an experienced mountain guide that can take you anywhere you would like to go. I can highly recommend Chalet A la Casa with Andreas as a host and guide.

Our stay at Chalet a la Casa was lovely. It is a short walk to the ski bus to Matterhorn, and there was a elevator/lift available (because the short walk from town to the chalet is quite steep!). The room had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The owners (Anita & Andreas) were very accessible, helpful and accommodating. My only concern is that we booked the apartment with the full expectation (based on the Hotels.com posting) that is included access to the hot tub and the sauna, which it DID NOT. That said, Anita & Andreas allowed us access to those facilities given that no one was staying in the Premium Chalet during our stay. This was much appreciated, but we would have been highly disappointed if it hadn't been possible.
